I think it’s Basilio who says “goofy recruitment, goofy career.” This BS with Sanders is an omen. Not saying he’ll be bad, in fact he’ll probably be really good wherever he plays, but there’s no reason to believe there won’t be weirdness even after he shows up.
Bg all accounts we are fine with Sanders and he is signed or signing by Friday, just announcing with other teammates next Wednesday. Supposedly there was also a last minute ask by someone in Sanders' camp (not a final decision maker). Haven't heard/seen what the ask is but nothing major. Hate all the hangers-on who think they can leech something off one of these kids recruiting. If it ain't the recruit, parents/grandparents, HS coach or agent then they shouldn't get involved at all.

One thing you need to play up is how cold weather hurts the offense. All the Big Ten guys saying it’s going to be funny when SEC teams have to come north in December and how the passing game is affected. You guys should blast this out to recruits all the time. Are you a QB or receiver wanting to get to the NFL? Why play up north where the ball is hard weather is bad, etc. and your numbers won’t be as high? All these great players from the south need to stay out of that cold snowy mess.
With OSU Simmons declaring for the draft it allows for them to sell early playing time, something that was “supposedly” important to him. But who knows

Vols have not always played a 12 game schedule. Neyland played 10 & 11 game schedules.
