@@jathinkv Noice, how is your editing so far?
Professional Tattooer for 16 years here and I can attest to the information that you are listing in this video are the keys to creating a sustainable creative practice. Great job. Know this is years old, but it is very valuable information.
Who else likes the video before watching it?
Me, tbh.
All the damn time!
You just know when it's gonna be gooooooood ;)
Audio is king.
Solid advice, I need this kind of boost constantly
TYSM i needed this especially the last advice ,, im the kind of person who worries abt other ppl's opinions on my work ,,, so i hesitate a lot before putting myself out there,,,, and being brave enough to take the feedbacks like a man lol ,,, but i know i must do so in order to progress ,, there aint no other way ,,,
if you try you could fail but you could also succed its fifty fifty proba !!
but if u do not EVEN TRY ,,, its 100% sure that u failed ,,,already before even starting cuz nobody knows what u achieved ! ,,, it could be really cool and nice ,, and u kept it for urself ,,, this is such a loss
u can never be so sure unless u try out ,,,
so gotta get out of ur comforts zones !!
Excellent video, full of great advice! Shout outs to the 1UP crew, y'all keep doing big things! 👌
:D

Solid video dude, been trying to get myself kicked off in the Video industry and everything said hit home. Still learning and wont stop learning, exact reason why I love the industry : )
This was some good advice, I am a media school graduate and i am very aware there is still tons of stuff for me to know and learn. This video was very helpful for me and reaffirmed that a professional video editor is the career path that i seriously am going to pursue.
Great tips man.
Never be afraid to fail. 📽🎬
You are the best it is very informative for the new people want to make a career out of this keep the good work best channel I came across for editing you're a legend mate
Hey, @notiansans! Gotta say, I'm a big fan. Thanks for making this video. It DID actually inspire me to get back to finishing my video I started about 3 weeks ago. You're a great motivator! Keep up the great work!
Great video man :) Love your channel!
Man I suck at short cuts..I took a short cut around lake Winnipesaukee it took me two days to get back.. But you made me learn one every time I boot up.. Thx ~~
UGH I CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THE LIVESTREAM. Anyway, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial about separating background music from vocals on videos. Like, when you take a quote from a movie, it has the background music the editor chose for the movie and then it down't mix with what I have planned. This could really help me (also, if there's a way to do that on Premiere that would be incredible)
I guess im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account??
I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Gerald Vincent Instablaster =)
@Kasen Asa i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Kasen Asa It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my account !
@Gerald Vincent no problem :)
You’re my idol, you make that edit sounds really easy, and make me really want to see a edit video instead of sleep 💕
I've been trying to get into the video editing gig lately, and I think this valuable information that you provided with help me out a lot . Thanks for the tips.
Hey man, this was AWESOME! I was little bummed you didn't get into how to find work. That's my big thing right now: I don't know how to find clients and get paid work. So if you were thinking about doing more of these, that's a topic I'd DEFINITELY be interested in. Thanks for the good info and keep up the amazing work!
I will definitely cover that in a future video! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks Notiansans-- I needed that! Very helpful to get me back on "technical experimentation" path.
why the heck not many people subs to him???? he deserves MORE!

i liked it before watching because i trust the skills and the excellent introduction in graphic that man interoduce
This is a great video man. All I would recommend is including some quick examples of what you are discussing just to help communicate the ideas. That would make this a fantastic video.

Excellent video, man. Your channel has taught me so much already and I eagerly await every upload. Thank you so much for what you do!!

Thank you so much for this video! You said some things that I already knew and never really forced myself to do it. You also said other things that I NEEDED to hear it. Now, if it is not too much to ask, make a video to teach us how to charge for a job. I have asked that before to other people and their answers were too vague.
Very good job.
Dude great video man. I’m loving every single one of them. You help me so much when it comes to PR and AE!!! Thanks. Glad to be subbed

Hey there! Love your videos! I would like to know the best settings for recording paper, such as best way of color correcting to make the paper vibrant and white..?
do more please u-u
Thank you so much from Brazil ! We love your videos
This is grate, by the way what is pc performance that you have
you are awesommmmmmmmme
Your first point, the “technical aspect“, where would you suggest to start out as a beginner trying to learn these technical things before diving into learning the softwares? Any recommendations.
Can u make a vid on how to balance audio better. Some of the vids i make the audio sounds good to me but others say its too loud. How can i get that right balance
You need to basically tell what version you use for premiere pro cc and other programs
What if you're editing you working on artwork. Sometimes tutorials. Sometimes speed paints? It's frustrating trying to get pacing or change things up.
How about a video on useful plug in that you use 😍
Hey,
Thanks allot for the video's! Im in a project looking for a job that fits me, and you make it look really fun and I could see myself do this for a long time!
I love watching video's en listing to music so I found this very interesting. I've always watched video's with a critical eye very early on.
Now here is a question wich I hope you could answer for me.
Is it better to go to school to be a editor or do you advise to follow a course or learn it yourself.
I geuss that when you are looking for a job a CV isnt as strong as an Portfolio where you can really show what you can make.
I'd like to hear from you!
Once again Thanks allot for the video's I'm really enjoying them!
Going to school for editing (in my opinion) was a good experience, but it ultimately wasn't the thing that landed me jobs. Nobody has ever asked to see my diploma from college, it's really about how well you can work and help shape a creative vision. College will teach you technical things about editing, but cultivating that creativity is something you learn by doing yourself i think
Thanks for answering me! I'll make sure to take these thoughts with me. I think of entering Multimedia design en work way to editor from there. It's pretty hard to find a job or company as video editor where I live. So I'll have to expend on that for sure.
can you do some editing for us we create videos for corporate or graphic videos .
Do you have a video on those shortcuts you mentioned?
Also is it possible to do "autotune" audio editing on premiere? If so can you do a video on that?
I'll do a shortcuts video for sure... I've been meaning to
thanks!
Song?
Lmao I’m 12, I got some time to practice
I also have extremely low confidence, so I do t get emotional with feedback
bruh im a 13 year old person who edits and im there with you
I was just about to send you an email regarding this information lol thanks a ton! Question: I feel like I really need to take my stuff to the next level and would like to begin learning After Effects, would it be too much to ask you to start doing "how to"'s in AE?
I've definitely done a few, which O obviously recommend checking out, but I can definitely do more!
much appreciated thanks a ton!
New to video editing and would like some critique from viewers who don't mind sharing their opinion. Thank you =]
10 minutes after release and i'm STILL not first?!
GG
ok but you didn't actually explain how to get work. you just explained how to be a good editor once you get work.
This video was a bomb . (Did you guys got the joke?) or should I tell you?
Thanks for the Tips. I need help. Something I've been searching with no success. QuickTime in premiere pro. I screen recorded some clips and was also using green screen on a separate layer. Everything except the QT clips came out fine. Take a look. Do i just need a new Mac or is there a sequence fix for this? ruclips.net/video/tVigxh2AonQ/видео.html
#5 can't work for me at all
That why I work alone and for myself
