I lived in Oregon and earned a degree in Geography there. During my time at the University of Oregon I heard that the head of the Zoology Department was a firm believer in Bigfoot and that he had evidence. I was instantly captivated and sought him out. I spoke to the old guy for about 45 minutes and saw casts and samples that he had collected. He had hair samples in which the DNA matched no known primate and other evidence (25 years ago). I have kept an open mind about Bigfoot ever since.

I was car camping in Western Appalachia and was simply looking for a good nights sleep. I woke up about 430 am because I sensed something behind me. Suddenly a roar erupted from the direction where I thought the something was located. It was so violently loud that it shook the air in my chest. It made a lions roar seem dim.The creatures anger was palpable, fading after about a minute. I never saw it.
A few months later at the same spot I heard repeated long and distant human like aw-oooooos twice in the same night at about 230 and 430 am along with many tree knocks. The pack of hounds that lived up the street were howling in fear. Curiouser and curiouser.

I was born on the edge of the largest wilderness area in the continental U.S. My four brothers and I have spent 80 years living and working in the forest. One of my brothers saw a bigfoot. I have not. My other brothers have not, but we have seen grizzlies, wolverines, wolves which millions of people have never seen. I am on the fence but it is true that thousands of people believe they have seen them. I can no more argue with them than they can with me about what I have seen. If they don’t exist then why do hundreds of thousands of people claim they have. I hear people say why can’t we find these giant primates? How do they know they are primates. Since we don’t know what they are we also don’t how smart they are. Believe me, it isn’t hard to be smarter than people.

I picked up the pace and found an area to slide down on our rear ends which put more distance between us and whatever that was. We got in the car and I turned my brights but it stayed in the trees and was well hidden. I had been there previous times and always had a weird feeling. So a year later I was back up there on that trail and started talking to a female Ranger that stays in one of the cabins there. I told her what happened and she had the weirdest look on her face. Almost scared. Then told me not to be up there at night due to mountain lions. Now I 'm a city girl but I know that the footsteps were bipedal. Another person I told is very into nature and animals and said if it were a mountain lion I would have never heard it at all. I never saw what was flanking us but I just know it was bipedal, didn't use a flashlight so not human, and was intelligent.

@thelittlegreenball6813 I 100% agree with your comment! These creatures are no joke so it's intolerable to listen to so called educated know it all "biologists" & others mock & demean fellow human beings who have witnessed these things, & some are seriously traumatized. I also live in CO, & there's a rancher in the SE rockies that has had to give up his property & move because the sasquatch became to dangerous & violent. They killed livestock & tore up the hunting cabins they used for guided hunts on their land. On Scott Carpenter's RUclips channel he relays this ranchers experiences to his viewers. If u search Scott's channel for "Mike the rancher", u can hear the sad story. Scott's focus was on educating people about these creatures & giving advice on how to keep them away from people's homes & properties. He recommended lot's of automatic lights & even cheap trail cameras because these creatures recognize the infrared sensors & know how to avoid it. He also found that praying for protection & anointing the 4 corners of your yard with oil was effective for those of faith. He advised against shooting at them or being hostile. Unfortunately the ranchers Mike had lost so much to these creatures he had no patience & declared war on the sasquatch, but it got so intense that he finally gave up. There's one bigfoot show that Mike gave an interview & it's very interesting. I think it was on Dixie Cryptid....just search for Mike the rancher or something to do with Mike, to find his incredible story.

If I recall correctly, they did something that upset him & he felt using force was a better solution but it only caused things to escalate until he felt it was impossible to stay there. Too bad Scott himself isn't alive to ask him how to find those episodes! I think they were considered favorites by many. Possibly if u ask about how to find those episodes in the comment section his family will tell u how to find them. I'll also post a request on his channel for that info & ask if they could be reposted due to popularity. At about 2:40, it is stated that bigfoot was known to Native Americans as "sasquatch." This is actually a common misunderstanding. The term "sasquatch" was developed by Canadian J.W. Burns and was derived from the word sésquac (or sesquac) of the Halkomelem language of the Coast Salish Nation. "Sésquac" means "wild man of the woods." One source with more information about this is Dr. Jeff Meldrum's book "Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science."

I heard the name "Bigfoot" was coined in northern California in the Trinity Alps area just south of the Oregon border. I used to attend summer camp at Camp Trinity for a month during the summer three years in a row, and that's where I first heard about "Bigfoot" - didn't hear the name "Sasquatch" until years later. Almost all aboriginal people of the world have a name for these creatures, but "science" pays no attention to the possibility - I believe the "powers that shouldn't be" - the hidden-hand controlling puppet leaders of the world, doesn't want us to know about these creatures. Maybe they plan to use them to terrorize us and/or keep us out of wilderness areas?

For a little BF background, I went to college in the early 80s at Humboldt State University (in Arcata, CA-Redwood & BF country) studying to become a Park Ranger with an emphasis in Native American studies & world genocides. During my Native American class, our professor Hupa Indian (& dear friend) Jack Norton shared how you could hear BF yell every morning up on the rez. During this class, 2 male classmates shared how they were up at a high elevation lake in the Siskyou Wilderness, smelled something & turned around to see this huge hairy man standing next to the lake. They took a pix on their camera & ran. It was this perfect picture (not blurry & no obstacles near him) leaving zero doubt they existed. Everyone in class saw it & asked why they don't publish it & they said they wanted to keep the hairy guy protected which was awesome. My outdoor rec teacher also came upon one in the redwoods. This was my intro to BF until years later my own many experiences. Why the gov't wont' admit? Because they come in from elsewhere on crafts & interdimensionally & the gov't can't stop it. Back when I saw one I had never even heard of Bigfoot before. It was about 50 yards from me and I took a million candlewatt spotlight on it. My dogs went wild, we had 5 acres against a national forest. I went out with my spotlight and smelled the horrible odor and heard the noise to my right. I shown my spotlight on what appeared at first to be a bear trying to pry the lid off my septic tank, it did break off the rebar handle. It shocked the animal and it stood up, and this was NOT a bear! It was an 8 foot tall great ape with long hair all over it with leaves in it. This was in the fall. I know its height as it moved under a branch that was exactly 8 feet tall, we measured it the day before to put up a swing on it. It startled me and I ran in at 1 am and woke the house up yelling "there's an 8 foot tall man in a hair suit in our yard." yeah. It had a domed head, hands that went backwards like a gorilla, no hair on its chest but long hair did go down and cover it. it had hair not fur. To me we have a North American Great Ape. Not some human hybrid crazy stuff. I saw this close and very clearly. This was in Southern Mississippi not far from the National Guard base here. I then spent week looking online trying to find what this thing was, this was in 2006 one year after Katrina.

Sometime around 1978 or 79 I saw legend of boggy Creek on TV at my grandmas house with my cousin. My grandma told us that when she was a little girl in the Ozarks of Missouri, there was something like that that lived in the woods behind their house that they called the wood booger. I said wait a minute, these things are real? So then I started checking books out at the library and my obsession began. I’ve never seen one, but I have been to Willow Creek, Bluff Creek, all up and down the 101 Corridor and I’ve have several geocaches with a Bigfoot theme. Including one on Bluff Creek rd.

I have my own Bigfoot story from northern Minnesota. I haven't told very many people. I am 58 now; I was 20 when it happened.
Not much to tell. I was on Hwy 2, in northern Minnesota, looking forward to walking down the highway at night with my backpack on. I was hitcthhiking then. I had left a diner and the light of the junction was pretty small. I was pretty happy - I'd just ate a meal, it was nighttime.
I got a sense I was being watched. There was a field to my left - I was heading to Duluth. Across the field were trees & bushes. I heard a snapping of branches as I was walking.
I stopped. Whatever was across the road & field was mirroring my steps. I would stop; & I would hear branches break, then stop. I did this 3 times & each time, the same thing.
I pulled out my .32 pistol thinking if it was a bear, it would smell the gun oil & quit following me. It didn't. Happened again & I walked back to the junction lights and waited until daybreak.
It wasn't a bear because it stopped when I did. Especially, the gun smell - a bear would know that smell.
Also, I knew I was being watched. I could feel it & the back of my neckhairs were standing up.
There was something in the dark across the road & field & it was matching me step for step.
I still get watery-eyed when I re-live that moment. Not goosebumps.
I am not afraid of the dark. But, there was something IN the dark. And, it was watching me.

Then there's the total lack of good trail cam pictures. Day or night. Tens of thousands of those cameras in every woodland in America. Not one good picture. Only clear fakes. Then there's what they say they saw. 8 foot tall running 40Mph. Beats on the walls but not the glass windows. Walking around naked in the dead of winter. 1000lb top predator that reeks so bad even we can smell one before we can see it. No evidence the police would write down. Nothing we could check ourselves. And the corker.... no witness EVER has a camera. Just another excuse.

      WTF…
You along with many skeptics would not know evidence if it bit you in the ass, for there is sooo much evidence out there it’s pathetic!
Be a critical thinker (learn what it takes to be a Critical Thinker) don’t just go with what’s said by main stream scientists for they are not even attempting to fact find or even to investigate as in study what’s out there, DNA has been obtained many times & there conclusions or what they say is no known subject “animal” exists, it’s not an animal!!!
Dr Melba Ketchum has deciphered the DNA but mainstream has rejected it because she did not follow their exact process which is not needed it’s just a way to say NOT CONCLUSIVE!
She “ Dr. Melba K. found the DNA of mothers side to be of human origin but could not decipher the fathers side because it’s ALIEN!!!
When thinking of Sasquatch one must think outside the box, for they have special abilities including camouflage!
Our thought process is clouded when it comes to this being raised certain ways so if we don’t understand something we think it fake, that’s a flawed thought process!
Every other country in the world has admitted it’s existence except the United States, we have in fact been studying these creatures to learn how they have the ability of camouflage as it would be a game changer!!!
Think of this so the US military has stealth capabilities with aircraft & more where do you think we were able to get that?
Not from any other country on earth but from reverse engineering of alien spacecraft!
Government did finally admit to alien spacecraft invading our airspace but now call then UAP’s, UWAP’s etc.
So how can we talk of falsehoods when we have no knowledge of the whole picture of evidence that the powers that be have but are silent to its people!!!

Another time my parents called the cops bc they heard footsteps on the roof. They called us kids downstairs. Cops said they weren't going to report what they saw due to being ridiculed. They watched it run across the roof in 3 steps and leap 15 ft and kept running in stride into the woods

The Psychiatrist who was scared off the Oregon Caves Big Tree Loop (trail) with his family (25:45) finally saw another one after 5 years of unsuccessful gifting. I live very close to the area and am very glad he did so. I often hear their wood knocking (sounds like a baseball bat hitting a tree) and howls. I've seen the footprints and followed trackways but have not been able to catch up to one. Anyway it's good to hear his perseverance paid off. I'll keep trying myself.

Asked to recreate the famous stride, he posed his backswinging hand "walking like an Egyptian" when close examination of the film reveals that dark object extending straight out near Patty's backswinging hand was something in the background and her actual hand was curled into a loose fist. I'm glad this film added evidence that he could not describe the Bluff Creek location as a further nail in the coffin of his false claim.

Growing up my Dad was a head rig sawyer for lumber mills. We lived in Hoopa, California about 12 miles from Willow Creek. I first saw the Jerry Crew foot print cast around 1962. I was a kid that did a lot of hiking with a friend. We forged our own trails sometimes. I believe they called Bigfoot "The Keeper of the Mountain". One time while hiking I saw the broken trees that they break & then bedding sites. One day we were bluff charged off the mountain.Needless to say it was eerily quiet & very scary. Then we moved to Oregon where I had Bigfoot encounters & a sighting by accident but scary just the same.

The problem with scientists, in general, is that MOST of them are either tenured professors, OR they work for huge corporate interests. The rest are considered "rank amateurs", which is true I suppose since there is no requirement but curiosity, and a logical mind, and the scientific method to navigate practical field science work in new areas. The tenured, and the corporate mad scientist types look down on this subject for many reasons. But there IS a vast amount of real evidence, good luck convincing these cast in stone types. But it's always going to serve humanity well to remember one thing, the people who rail against a new idea, are the same types who spoke against Copernicus, Keplar, and DaVinci, Plato, and so on. Closed minds, open mouths.

They just rediscovered three species they thought went extinct in the last five years. Blamed it on global warming and human encroachment. Natives knew they were there.

So people wouldn't even know to hoax that. Or the mid tarsal breaks in some of these prints along with dermal ridges that can't be physically hoaxed. Its just crazy to me that this is so dismissed when Guerrilla's haven't even been known to science for that long and it was the same thing with them until they found them too.

But think of all the complications it would cause if the government announced tomorrow that Sasquatch were real and had been living along side of us all this time!
People ask me why I'm not afraid of them here in my rural area. I answer because had they wanted to kidnap or kill me, they'd had ample opportunity to do so countless times in my 76 years! Instead I think they may been protecting me when I was out by myself in the woodlands or pastures.

I used to dismiss on Bigfoot sightings and I still do the Patterson-Gimlin. Mainly because Patterson was a con artist a known con artist. I saw a Bigfoot and it this supports my theory it was a young Bigfoot and yes I was terrified. The dogs knew something was there because every dog in the neighborhood was going absolutely insane. I live in a community surrounded by woods as I was recapturing my dog and bringing him back to the yard I noticed what I thought at first to be a kid. I was thinking how odd it was at 2 a.m. that a kid was walking down the street. As I passed I noticed something that looked a lot like the boy in Mexico that was covered in hair. Now this community is mostly Mexican but there is no hurry one here. Is it won't pass me my beer intensified because I could see it certainly was not a human. It was a small Sasquatch. It passed about 6 feet from me and did not pay me any attention did not even look my way. As it passed me and I turned around it literally disappeared in front of my eyes. I believe these creatures living in an alternate reality another dimension whatever you want to call it because the creature disappeared and went somewhere
I've been ridiculed by people even family but I know what I saw. Since a lot of people ridiculed me I don't really care what they think I know the creature exists I seen him. I did not smell rotting flesh which I believe is a gland in the creatures I don't believe they actually smell like that I believe it's a defense mechanism. And the creature disappeared in front of my eyes that's all I know and that's exactly what happened. I was terrified even though the preacher was only about four and a half feet tall I was walking down the street at 2 a.m. and you run into a monster it's not very conducive to your health.

I would say to him and others , if the Paterson/ Gimlin bigfoot is a costume then why are there no other pictures and videos of that costume taken after the some fifty years have passed ? It seemed to really impress the Hollywood special effects people at the time. Also. If it were a costume it would have been very expensive to make, according to those same special effects creators, especially for two rodeo riders of very limited means so why not exploit that costume to the hilt ? Perhaps remove the breasts and use it as a male in more videos and pictures. Instead of these possibilities, there is only one video of this creature. One.

(1) That there are no "credible" photos or videos for world wide big foot is false. While I agree that most photos, films, videos are false / staged fakes there exists a few that I believable are credible.. Faketry does not prove that a Big Foot doesn't exist. Here are 2 cell phone videos that could show a real animal that resembles a non- human hominid. (1) ruclips.net/video/ezOy_qfbhLY/видео.html (2) ruclips.net/video/ZIpbAyhpQ2o/видео.html Videos (1) and (2) if they are fakes, then they are well done. They DO NOT PROVE for sure that Big Foot exists. Yes they can be fakes.....but however they are quite convincing. (2) shows a swing arm homoinid that could also be an escaped ape or sorts. The Book of Enoch gives us more information on the subject, telling us they also made other hybrids by impregnating animals.
Yes, I know the Book of Enoch is not considered canon. But it is historical, and has been quoted in the Bible.
We don't know for sure what Bigfoot is, but if it did have any angelic DNA, that could account for a lot of the "woo" factor.

In the UK we have the Woodwose. The legend goes back to medieval times.

Went stealth camping at the location of a Woodwose sighting. Didn't see anything, but the thought of it turning up scared me all night.

Where I come from - Cornwall- the Woodwose is part of the landscape - they have never been known to harm anyone - they simply watch at the comings and goings of the strange beasts they call human...! @@rapierduell

My cousin is half sasquatch. His mum met it while camping on bluff creek. She met patty a few times. We have a big party every Xmas. They are nice when you get to know them. Great sense of humour. Amazing survival skills too.

I'm on the fence with the connotation of this video. It wants you to think you are misidentified these large beings. I'm actually disgusted with how they are portraying individuals who have actually experienced these beings in a face to face encounter as not being truthful. People like that , I have no tolerance for.

I find it interesting it's easily to dismiss something when you don't understand it or you personally haven't seen it or encountered it. I consider myself a level headed individual serving in the military for a few years I know people that say that doesn't make you an expert true but I was taught to observe and think objectively. The encounter I had I wish I never had and I didn't want it it just happened. You don't have to believe it that's your right you can dismiss it all you want. But there is something out there whether you believe it or not. And when you have an encounter keep it to yourself because you'll most likely deni what you're seeing. And there not like humans there not going to destroy a food source by picking it clean they live with nature. They can blend in if they want to be seen then they'll show themselves.

There's more than than "something" out there. In fact there are countless cryptic beings that the government doesn't and refuses to acknowledge along with government sycophants which steadfastly defends the official narrative. Anyone who dare to deviates are slandered and "labeled".

Your very true in what you stated. Thank you. My retired military husband said, while participating during maneuvers. His platoon saw a Sasquatch in the woods. He didn't laugh at me anymore after that incident, whenever I would talk about Sasquatch.

That’s why they sign up to kill people in other countries for oil and call it moral and patriotic. F off.
