- Kisame was one of the most requested characters in my naruto storm connections ranked series and I went online to give you guys what you wanted, but I never thought this would be my saltiest matches to date. I'm a stubborn POS so I decided to do salty runbacks against this kid naruto player who kept winning via super armor, counters and supports. I HAD to get one win off just to satisfy my own greed to prove to myself that it can be done.

46:39 you’re up against a storm 4 player. he used one of the tech on you called hollow stepping for the combos, and switch tech jutsus that doesn’t work in this game which you said is random except the counter does

I have to say that I really feel for you playing against these Hinata, Rock Lee, & other annoying characters on teams. It's truly hard not to get frustrated cause the utility of some characters is truly insane. Characters that were pretty mid back in Storm 4 are INSANE nowadays now that they have two Jutsu a character, and other reasons of course. ALSO I was wondering why you don't tend to go for Ultimate Jutsu more often? They are pretty nice for securing rounds against teams that are just busted, once you get them to burn their subs. But thank you for the constant posting!! :D Keep up the good work Berto!
Yeah, I think the issue is that some characters became way too powerful from the game system of connections. I normally want to go for ultimates more but with my opponent always having a support to back them up in case they lose all subs or me using a new charcater, it's much harder to land a solid ultimate. I definitely have a basic playtime, but I do want to take advantage of the full potential of the chrlqrqcters I use moving forward.

For Kisame use the other jutsu after the air combo, the old jutsu doesn't work anymore, the new one does
He was UPSET against that protection rotation 🤣 had me dying
the single worst thing you can do in this game is ragequit, they gotta make it like jump force cuz in that game if you tried d/cing before the game ended you lose your points and the other dude gets them
The last guy was switching that often because that makes the support come back a lot faster. He can basically start an annoying jutsu, switch out on start up and then do the same jutsu as support 5 seconds later again.
Edit: for the one where he cucked his own ult, he's probably a former storm 4 player and just still plays how he did back then.

💯 it makes almost all characters jutus useless besides the top 7 jutsu characters. That is too big of a difference in power when people are invincible and others aren't. If they remove that this game would drastically change imo. They need to fix subs not working even if you've been subbing for more than 2 seconds

I miss storm 4 when we would counter and it would throw you out from a combo and chip away chakra from to avoid spamming it or over using it LoL I hate cc2 for making this game garbage

For the counter kid you just gotta dash cancel a lot and use defense down tags to bait then dash. It will be a long annoying game but you have a better chance that way

@PapaBerto that's called insanity bro, on both of you. They got consistent reads and paid for it when you baited them. You constantly dashed at them and blamed them for the counter connecting. I've fought a lot of people like that and you have to take personal responsibility and adapt. Had you done that they wouldn't have been able to shut you down with their other bullshit they did.

I really miss Generations, connections is garbage… at least in that game people had skill and didn’t just rely on cheap supports and broken characters except for pts tenten, pts gaara and masked man spamm.

I like this stage bruv. I hate the fact they don't take u to the stage selection after you ready up but is instead a permanent choice in the settings. I'll try and put random, but there are some maps I absolutely fucking hate to play in

Bro, you must use Kisame's grab more. Also, don't bother trying to keep people in the air with him. Keep them on the ground where you can grab and shave off that chakra. Jutsu spam will cease because the maximum chakra is diminished.
I straight up wish they kept it so that counters cost bits of your overall Chakra bar. This entry rewards spammers WAY too much
@PyroKnight95 way too much. They can spam everything with little to no consequences, and we have to play around them meticulously. That's why I'm just gonna run third raikage, pain, and third hokage for support. I'm done trying to play fair with these people.

Can someone explain me why the top players jump so much? 🤔
It’s another form of defense
1. When jumping you usually auto block so this can be used to block otherwise unexpected attacks
2. Can be used to dodge Justu - supports - guard breaks - charged dash - tags as well as grabs
3. Some characters have Justu that can be activated in the air, by activating in the air this can usually make the user or support using the justu safe upon use. Alternatively almost all characters have an air variant justu which in most cases are the better option for attacking than the ground version.
4. Air dashing while a bit slower can help you apply pressure ,this can also help to mix up dash timing especially if your opponent is good at guard counter, you may not want to dash at them the same way every time.

Tbh they need to make support cooldowns longer, people spam them WAY to often. and chakra shouldnt auto regen I think that totally defeats the purpose of charging.

@papaberto remember its RANKED MATCHES so people are gonna play to win at any cost its not like when you invite your friend to play to just chill and relax so i dont really see the point on complaining on why they pick this or that characters or why is he spamming this justsu only complain about certain aspects that happened in the matches you play thats how i see it
that's not the issue. the issue is that you run into this almost every match. It gets incredibly tiresome and mind numbing when you realize that out of 150+ characters, you're basically fated to fight a small handful of them no matter how long of a session you play. Pair that with the fact they all play the same given the characters they use and it becomes that much worse. You think this happens because of it being ranked, but even on CASUAL matches people not only play just like ranked, but they RAGEQUIT too. Mind you, casual matches doesn't even have a point system.

There shouldn’t be a ranked mode that’s supposed to showcase skill, when the game is an unbalanced wasteland filled with players who have zero skill. Ffs you can use simple control in online matches

Storm 2 rock Lee didn't have: two jutsus,free Chakra regeneration, mid-air jutsu with super armor, cancelable leaf combo attack, free counters or supports as annoying as ashura. Seems silly to think they are in anyway comparable enough to say this.

No, no, Mr. bloojacket. the game IS trash no matter how you slice it. Win or lose, this fact doesn't change. And yes, most people I play are scrubs. The game rewards scrubs, and the proof is in this video. I switched to Kiba and suddenly, vodka was struggling 100 times harder even though all I was doing was the same jutsu over and over again. I promise you the last time I had vodka in my head was when I was making the funny venom edit on this video. I don't even have a grudge against the guy because after I get off the game, I no longer care.

Connections doesn’t feel like the worst game imaginable. But it definitely has its flaws. The best saving grace for this game is the addition of Crossplay, maybe some new online features and maybe costumes. And even adding a Time Skip DLC. I know that none of it has been animated yet in the anime. But Adding Time Skip Boruto and someone like Hokage Sarada would make tons of people consider playing again. I main Karma Boruto, so I’d even play again.
dlc isint gonna fix the mechanics that need to be fixed or nerf the characters that need to be nerfed
@@MrShlangsterLifts I agree, actually. Forgot to mention those. One example, I main Karma Boruto, and his lighting ninjutsu is so fast that my friend couldn’t move, dodge or vanish it in time. It was too easy to combo him and I didn’t feel fair.

As far as needing a support that will help you mid air, kakuzu is one of the best ones since he will activate on the ground while you're in the air which means there's 0 chance for him to get hit by your opponent doing shit while hitting you on the sky
