❤Hey 👋🏽 Lady that is Going to Be an Awesome Chicken Coop!! Glad the Walls didn't sway like those Trees were!😂 Even when You try to Go Cheap it seems to Cost Money! God Bless Stay Warm & Be Safe Capone loves it!❤
I have watched some that when they build they slant the roof and then use metal sheeting for roofing material. Maybe for the door use a screen door. It would give them ventilation and if you needed to you could cover it in plastic for cooler weather?
Hey, I wanted to drop you a line and share my experience with cutting up pallets. About 6-7 years ago I decided to cover all my dining room walls with pallet wood to turn my dining room into my workshop. I started with trying to pull the boards off and it was miserable for me. I've done a lot of demo work over the years, and borrowed a sawzaw and used demo blades to cut the pallets apart and it worked like a dream! I used the Diablo 6" 6/12 teeth per in. Demo Demon Nail-Embedded Wood Cutting Reciprocating Saw Blade (5pack) is $15 I saw at Home Depot. I used the 6' blades worked the best on the sides of the pallets. Like butter! But, sometimes for the middle part I used the 9in blade, has better reach, but the blade cuts sloppy and they are way more pricey. The demo blades are made to cut through the nails. And when you cut them apart, the blades go through the path of least resistance, so it mostly cuts through easily. I did buy a Dewalt sawzaw to finish the job, I love that thing! And, if you want or need to remove the nails, I used a nail punch to push out the 1/2 in. nails is pretty easy. Sometimes, I just cut off the nails with the grinder if I had to. And, you should have a small metal detector when using your pallet boards. My miter saw about jumped off the table (not mounted) when I hit a hidden nail. Please be careful!! Again, thank you so much for all of your inspiration!!
You surprised me. I thought you were going to put two pallets high in the front, then saw the back ones in half to make a slanted roof. That's going to be one TALL chicken coop.
Love the comment" Big dreams, no budget"- my life exactly!
LOL yup thats been my motto my whole life haha
@@BigDreamsTinyBudget I'm in this boat!

Wow thanks for that great information!! I will have to pick up some of those saw blades for the coop!

I wanted a walk in coop! This will be a coop and more!
If you have an Ollies store near you, they have cheap linoleum
Oh thanks! We did just get an Ollie’s out here. They are about an hour away but will be worth the trip!
I like the chicken coop 🐥 🐔
Thanks!
Can you use some of the 2x6 rotted in places wood by cutting them in half or cut off bad parts?
Unfortunately I think they are pretty much rotted through :(
What about that big pile of 2x6's or 8"'s that you have? Could you find enough good boards in that pile?
They are all too rotted
