Jennifer. I live in Texas so my round trip in July return in August was $2200 that is United Airlines from Austin TX to San Francisco to Hong Kong 12 hour layover then to Cebu. The return trip is the same in reverse order. I could've booked cheaper on PAL through Los Angeles but I had a bunch of United points and was to get my flight for free. So, guys check your point balances of you're booking several months in advance. Also check to see if you have Star alliance points with hotel groups or other airlines. they are tranferable to other Star alliance airlines.

Hi Jennifer, I arrived in Manila yesterday from Australia via Singapore (transit only). I had no problem at all, as many have said, if your paperwork is in order its very quick. I arrived Terminal 3, I was fortunate to be one of the first to immigration window, took about 1.5 minutes. Then to BOQ vaccination check, again very quick (after waking up the Coastguard checker hahaha!). After collecting bags, 1 more proof of vax to receive a Quarantine free ticket which was checked one more time on leaving the terminal. I was out of the airport in about 12 minutes after arriving at first immigration window. The only thing, I was not asked for my medical insurance cert or onward flight ticket. Whilst this was checked before boarding the flight out of Australia based on your destination, considering the double checking everywhere I was surprised and also thinking what a waste of AUD$200 for the insurance, but then again if I didn't have - well it would have been a problem. Question is, have requirements changed? Thank you again Jennifer, your initial and ongoing guidance certainly helped with the process of preparing documents. One young lady is certainly happy to see me after 2 years and 2 months:)

Hi Jennifer, do you they have a protocol for travellers that just recovered from covid and the result in the test says indeterminate, if we have a certification from the doctor that says fully recovered we can use this as part of the requirement instead of the PCR negative test because sometimes we still have traces of the virus but not contagious.

Qantas are starting daily flights from Sydney to Manila from the end of March and their recent sale fare was $799AUD return, that includes 30kg checked baggage, 7kg carry on + 1 personal item, food and beverage, entertainment. That's a much better deal than Cebu Pacific.

Hello Jennifer, There are changes in doing one health pass? it seems not possible anymore to update the ohp to maybe add the proof of the pcr test. Which means its need do a new code in ohp always if you want only update? And there is now to fill out quarantine fatalicy and pcr test station even you fill out yes if you have a negative pcr test. It seems changed compare your video from 2 weeks before.

That's a problem when you fly out on Monday. You'll need to get tested earliest at 10:30pm on Saturday March 19th or later. Maybe try getting a fast RT-PCR test on Sunday or Monday if possible. Here in Belgium we have rapid RT-PCR test which are more expensive, but you will have your result 3 hours later. If you don't have that, then I guess the best thing is to try and get a rapid RT-PRC test done on Sunday morning with 24 hour result guaranteed.

I'm hoping the Philippines will switch from requiring negative PCR tests to rapid antigen, which is cheaper and should be sufficient.
Even do away with antigen tests. Antigen testing is only 78% accurate. Still waste of money.

So far Turkish and Qatar airlines are the cheapest flight. All Asian airlines are expensive. The problem is the long layover

Pagbalik dito sa US kailangan pa bang mag register sa health pass .Manila to US. Or just show the negative PCR at the airport.

Hi Ms. Jennifer, The PCR test will take 24-48 hours before results are released making it difficult. Can we just do the RT or Rapid Test for Covid? Im traveling from the US.

just done booking a round trip and 2 stops flight from tampa florida to new york to korea and going manila for july-august vacation i’m from cebu and don’t want to take the eva air which going to taiwan so i just did manila as my port of entry in the philippines and i arrived in manila i’ll be having a domestic flight going to cebu i did make sure that i have enough time for my domestic transfer going to cebu which cost me $1600 including the insurance and when i get back here in the states my flight will be manila-korea-atlanta then tampa hopefully everything will be fine 🙏😘 keep safe all

@tosa - check your airline's requirements. SG usually requires an RT-PCR test.

Hi Jennifer, do you they have a protocol for travellers that just recovered from covid and the result in the test says indeterminate, if we have a certification from the doctor that says fully recovered we can use this as part of the requirement instead of the PCR negative test because sometimes we still have traces of the virus but not contagious.

Hello Jennifer, There are changes in doing one health pass? it seems not possible anymore to update the ohp to maybe add the proof of the pcr test. Which means its need do a new code in ohp always if you want only update? And there is now to fill out quarantine fatalicy and pcr test station even you fill out yes if you have a negative pcr test. It seems changed compare your video from 2 weeks before.

Now my problem is about my PCR test, its tight on my day of departure, if I do my test Saturday that means my PCR test is already expired on my dayr of departure.You think I will still be fine when I get to Manila? That's a problem when you fly out on Monday. You'll need to get tested earliest at 10:30pm on Saturday March 19th or later. Maybe try getting a fast RT-PCR test on Sunday or Monday if possible. Here in Belgium we have rapid RT-PCR test which are more expensive, but you will have your result 3 hours later. If you don't have that, then I guess the best thing is to try and get a rapid RT-PRC test done on Sunday morning with 24 hour result guaranteed.
