I keep halloween stuff on my top 2 shelves all year but you bet, im putting up my christmas stuff and 2 trees! I love vintage christmas so i want 90% of the house xmas. Your so cute! Yes, its okay ! Its cool because when you revisit your containers of halloween, its makes it special!!!!!
Pack it all up and start christmas with a blank slate. It will be way less overwhelming and much more fun. Just keep out the halloween bits that you think you can repurpose for Christmas. Your brain will thank you, and people love watching a good clear out vid, so bonus content too. 😁
What I do is remove all orange…greens..seasonal colors and keep the black then dress the house with nature…. pine cones and greenery…mistletoe and your greenhouse of plants…fairy lights…make it dark but magical ❤️

You really don’t need a pillow Santa( he was super cute) you just need to buy some cheap standard Santa hats for your skeletons to wear. Also was thinking you could put a hat on your green skeleton wall guy on the kitchen wall so he’s more creepmas. I do take down and store about half my Halloween stuff during Christmas then afterwards I put more spooky stuff back out for the rest of the year. I’d like to see you do a couple more holiday decor shopping videos if you have time like big lots, kohls, dollar store.

The tricky thing about decorations is what to do with them when you are switching things up, I get big plastic boxes, see through so I have an idea of what's going on in there and do the Halloween - Xmas shuffle, with the transitional pieces like my ghoul Ebeneezer scrooge who hangs about from September into the new year placed at the front of Halloween again. I'm sure you will make your home just so, and I'm glad we could join you for it!

I totally think you should clear some of the Halloween items. It might be fun to pull them out couple months later. I love the idea of keeping the spooky house out and maybe put some fairy lights around them. You should hang lights outside. Be adventurous and still keep your spooky side with goth Christmas. I had the same dilemma with the space above my TV and I found a shelf at Ikea that was the length of my TV meant for photos. It's wide enough for other stuff so I use it like a mantle and it's PERFECT for decorations. It also has the purple Halloween wreath from Ikea hanging above it all year long and we call it our portal.
You could do a Dickensian theme ala a Christmas Carol (one of the best known Christmas/Spooky stories ever written);and I noticed you have some wonderful Spooky Victorian style houses that would look amazing over your cabinets in your kitchen with extra lights around them to really set them off. I have discovered that as much as I love Halloween; it is nice to pack a lot of it away and decorate for Christmas and other Holidays. It gives you something to look forward to every year. Kind of like a visit from an old friend. Have fun!😂
I decorate all year round. My family isn’t as into the spooky but I do keep out certain pieces for me. I do valentine’s, spring, summerween, Halloween, fall, Christmas. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to end up with.

Hi cris, instead of paying $60 on a santa body size cushion, why not save yourself some money by dressing your skeleton size cushion xmas like instead?
It is nice that you move out of your master for the parents...thought they would stay in the RV and just visit, etc...get some storage bins and put it all in the garage until everyone is back on the road traveling...dont stress yourself out with all the things!
My jaw dropped when you said you would take down some Halloween stuff but I think its a good call. We are kind of doing the same. For the 'decal' wall, my advice: I would take a few things off and put the rest closer together. Instead of trying to spread it across the wall, I would create areas of focus. I had a friend and his wife had a different themed tree in every room of their house during the Christmas season. That is a lot of work every year. LoL! Even their children had their own trees in their rooms. Surprisingly they didn't have a tree for their dogs!! LOL!

I think that would be good for you if you put way the halloween stuff for the holidays. And let the holiday stuff shine during their time. When the holidays finish put some of the halloween stuff again and buy dark decor but not halloween decor so when it's halloween or holiday time you will have again that joy to decorate and it will be special having again your house decor for that specific time!

You could put your creepy village on top of the cabinet with the spooky trees and use white garland and different colored lights
