I believe john todd may have come and spoken to our church. This would be 1980. At the very latest, 1982. I remember all the children were gathered together in the chapel. The church Had a school attached to it. Kindagarten through sixth grade. And then the high school across the parking lot,seventh grade to twelfth grade. I have a vague recollection of one of the school faculty introducing john. They also played a film that night about the dangers of rock and roll. Satanic panic was big at this time. They even handed out jack chick tracks that he speaks of in his recordings. I still have several original to this day. This took place at intercity baptist church allen park, MI. My recollection could be wrong but I do remember the church sunday school teachers speaking about him. Anybody even know if he spoke in michigan at that time?
This is difficult to address: this tape was made at the earliest 1984. This man, John Todd, disappeared in 1979. I have scoured the internet for his recordings or transcripts. I DO believe this man WAS who he said he was. Why? Because of the effort I see to not only replace him, but to also alter the INAUTHENTIC recordings. This means that there is still enough truth in these recordings, but they are not the recordings this man made. As a matter of fact, in the first tape (and because this fact is being brought up, it will probably be erased) the man referenced "the tapes I made before". I have read comments to what's left online that is being put out. I saw 2 comments by people who said this: I had his original tapes in the 1970's. The man on those tapes spoke slower and was very business like, no jokes, no sense of humor. This is not him." Another comment said the man that he heard originally is from the Midwest, with a distinct Midwest accent. The guy talking on these tapes uses southern colloquial words and does sound as though he is from the south. That said, I do think the information is valuable. But, as I see transcripts edited (even as I was going from website to website recently) meaning TPTB are STILL managing this collection of information. Again, this means John Todd was exactly who he said he was. The small bits of information I saw removed from an actual pdf transcript within a 24 hour period are pretty eerie.
