    Hello!
I like your reviews and I think this bike is pretty good.
I hope I won't say anything you already know.
The seat post is a dropper post. They are very common in mountain biking. You lower them in difficult and technical descents. I don't understand why this bike has one. You should use it extended. Adjust the height of the seat with the dropper post extended and you can lower it if you need a safest position for example if you are riding only with a hand (you shouldn't but everyone is guilty of that).
The reduction of rolling resistance with extra pressure is very very small. Choose to ride comfortably and lower the pressures. Also, carrying extra weight does not impact so much in the energy spent. Choose carrying heavier gear if that allows you to eat or rest better.
Probably you could mount a front rack using the threads in the head tube of the frame.
    Keep it going!

great review! I can totally understand why someone would want to buy the less powerful version if they live in the EU, after seeing that news story this week about Italian police with mobile Ebike Dynomometers to check top speed and power output. It would really suck to have an 1800 euro ebike confiscated

The charger isn't set a little higher. The chargers voltage is set to the battery packs fully charged voltage and the voltage stated on the battery is the nominal voltage of the pack. Once the pack is fully charged, it will read 42V when it's 36V nominal.
    Hope this makes sense :)

This is not actually true. A charger has to always have a higher voltage than the batteries it's charging. It it's equal, then the batteries will not charge.

Jag hatar eu reglerna, hoppas jag slipper böter i sommar (engine pro) och att alla svetsningar håller.

This guy is so funny, almost wet myself. The average speed of fast walking for a man is about 6km/h. on granny's Sturmey-Archer an average person can average 20 kl/h .
so 260 at 10 is 26hrs, granny's there in half the time cooked a roast eaten washed up and tucked up before you get there.
A hah he say if its on turbo and you peddle as well !!! peddle!! 72km and dead, so that's 188 km you have to drag a lump of lithium, cadmium and col-bolt.
and if you survive the night without being cremated in the convenience of your flat .( and there is a 100% chance of that) granny's up and out on her way to get a special on liniment while your still waiting for your last Baa ah . I don't get it , maybe I'm old and not as SMART as young folks. One things for sure granny's Sturmey-Archer can sit in the shed for decades, a bit of oil and shes off again while the SMART young folks are surfing for some more rare earths to supplement there weak legs.
God help us, there just way to SMART.
