      @MonsterMichaelTodd 13:06 Michael, your goal is to increase bicep strength in 90 degree or even smaller elbow angles. You do the pronation lift with a king's move like opened up / opining up elbow angle (significantly larger than 90 degree) in your training and got great results so far. Now, just do ADDITIONALLY the pronation lift with 90 degree elbow angle, meaning with a weight that allows you to keep the 90 degree elbow angles without opening up, and work on increasing the weight over time while always making sure to keep the 90 degree. DON'T do what you suggested in your last livestream, which was planning to do extended static holding of medium weights with small elbow angles for extended periods of time, this will possibly just lead to SHORTENING OF THE BICEP MUSCLE (and reducing the possible range of motion through the shrunken bicep belly length), which will lead to the danger of getting another bicep tear when doing the king's move due to the then (through wrong training) shortened bicep being completely elongated and stretched out before you hit the elbow bone lock! VERY DANGEROUS! Ask your doctor about the danger of muscle shortening due to extended isometric holds in a shortened position, he will affirm my concerns! Everything went well so far, don't screw it up through implementing new training techniques while not fully researching and thinking through the possible risks and dangers of those new techniques!
      I want to be as clear as possible with my advice: You should do the pronation lift in your training in 2 different forms, both forms done in the same workout sessions: Form 1) With a king's move like opened up/ opening up elbow angle above 90 degree (meaning: keep doing it as you did the exercise recently) and with the biggest weights possible in this form. AND also / additionally: Form 2) With a 90 degree elbow angle (meaning: elbow angle not opening up while lifting) and with the biggest weights possible in this form. Result: You will increse bicep strength 1) in above 90 degree elbow angle (king's move), and additionally you will increase bicep strength 2) in smaller (90 degree) elbow angle, without the danger of your biceps belly length becoming pathologically shortened / shrunken and losing ROM because of that.

I think a thing that Devon does well is only giving partial info so the opponents never really know where he is at. Besides that you already noted that you need to climb and improve your position during the match and as others have stated you need to improve your set up for example being posted higher and maybe talking before the match about being able to get a tighter strap… in fact I wouldn’t have mentioned that in this video and would have pushed on that behind the scenes.

    just keep working on those "small" movements & improvements (the Rise - hand - wrist)
    what makes devon a monster is "not" the biggest lifts or squats or press etc.. ;
    he's mastered the 'small movements' & strength of Hand
    and On TABLE Movements u need to be great! ;
    the system he used to go thru Dave,.. then Ermes,.. then DENIS In dominant fashion.. i have 0 doubt he would have crushed genadi had that taken place... ;
    if u follow that recipe "&" get over 300 lbs for 'push' power,. I think you'll get the win & on to jerry or levan!

    @MonsterMichaelTodd Drop your riser while they are tightening the strap then take back the riser after they are done tightening. Of course this is bit of a gamble this is trusting that your riser is stronger, but it will make that strap really tight in that area and make your opponent feel very uncomfortable.

    To be honest with you I think you should wait until after his first match back so that way you can gauge how good he is coming back because anything less than this match your head and in my opinion if you beat him after you just come back from an injury yourself if he's not the same shape he was the win will not be as good because therefore he wasn't the same Gennadi that you faced the first time! But either way good luck!!

      @@MonsterMichaelTodd yes sir he is a beast whether he is injured or not who's the top opponent for anyone in the top 15 but yes sir you got this doesn't matter if he comes stronger than before I know you're going to win because you're better now than he was at that time when y'all fought!! I just don't want you to feel like you didn't get the best version of him!! I want your revenge to be as big as possible good buddy can't wait for the battle good luck training #TheClimbToLevan 👍

    Isn't the rule that if the buckles on you side you can ask for a tighter strap? If so you should've been more vocal about it. In general you're too nice in the setup I think.
    Also, the Genadi that faced Ermes wasn't the same game that faced you and Devon. Not trying to take anything away from Ermes ofc.
    Your current shape seems solid, not just physical but mental also, you looked completely in the zone vs Kamil.

      You can ask for a tighter strap but not as tight as you wish, it's still ref's decision at the end

    If i could win every armwreslting match against anyone at anytime by using the kings move or dead wrist press i wouldnt armwrestle. I know its within the rules and not illegal but its just a stooopid way of armwreslting IMO

    I don’t think genadi realizes the type of monster he is up against this time. I wonder if he will make the mistake thinking it will be the same person he went up against last time?
