Time to binge-watch this channel. Wooo hooo. If I found this channel before I decided to Port I would have had some knowledge under my belt. The porting was easy. I would never work with a real estate agent that does not know about the First home buyer Section 8 program, Also You are so right about those RUclips Rodeo clowns; they do not know crap and those Section 8 employees are a mess.
The Homeownership classes do not help those who are disabled; basically, there is not a lot they know or care to share. I was told I should have good credit, money in the bank, and a certain amount for down payment. (If you’re on disability and can only have a certain amount in the bank what magic do they expect you to do?) I asked a family member for a down payment it wasn't much. I was told I can get help getting closing costs only to find out I couldn’t get it. It had to do with something about my income ratio ( some crap) Um did these people not know my situation when we started? they asked me for tons of paperwork when we started.
I watched another one of your videos and you were talking about homeless people having great credit. (I was laughing my ass off) I enjoyed that video. I’m not homeless Praise God but I do have a credit score over 740, yet I’m still having problems.
The program I used said I was preapproved for $167,000 when I went to the bank I was given $121,000 I have to dish out funds or ask a family member for closing costs.
The program I used made it seem as if all you have to do is fill out some papers and you are on your way. It was not till I have spent time and energy that I finally found a Mobil home and they said I couldn’t get it, Then they gave me the list of what I can get (really people?). There is not much you can get in my state with $121,000. I have to start from scratch with Porting because Section 8 gives you a certain amount of time to find something before your paperwork expires, but I have learned a lot by trial and error.
from watching your other video I know you are knowledgeable. I would just have to save more pennies to chat with you, so for now I will watch your videos.

Hey sir, hope you are well.. love your videos! I have a question, I’m just starting out and have not done any applications or any papers yet.. I’m a bit perplexed on this whole thing. Do I need to do an application before seeking your services? I’m disabled (ssi) and I live with family right now but this place is just not good for me mentally and health wise .. found a load of mold in the washer that’s a few feet from my head in bed and also a waster stain on the ceiling under my bathroom .. these folks don’t seem to care or want to deal with any of it. But I know just how bad that stuff is and is likley causing a lot of my health issues to be as bad as they are…do I stand a chance getting my own place since I already live here? Very interested in your services

Hello there from Arkansas 😊! I have my first section 8 meeting on September 6, 2022 and I was wondering since they give 60 days to find somewhere to live can I start calling around now looking for places that rent to section 8 tenants or wait until after my meeting on the 6th?
I would start looking now.
