Nice video. The Melo engine is to make the nemeses engine or Vortex build live in Voiceless or other decks. Even though Voiceless already has an easy to make omni negate so they really don't need Vortex as much. The build between Melo and Voiceless is good but both decks play better and are more consistent when they are pure with a smaller engine like Voiceless with kasht or Melo with orange light and more hand-traps. Plus Melo has multiple end boards such as Etoile, Bache and number 41 pass. Also don't forget Bache stops your Melo monsters effects from being negated. So number 41 will shut down the foes monster effects on the field and you can still use Etoile bounce effect when needed. IP = little knight, with Vortex and Etoile Apollousa, Vortex, IP + Refrain or any other Melo = little knight. Etoile, Aria lock, Schubert, Shopina
I feel like the fact this variant had to make several key cuts like going down to 2 Lo and Barrier and outright omitting Blessing says a lot about this variant. That's not necessarily Evo's fault but rather just showing this variant is little more than replay bait (yes even without the Nemeses crap)

Just as how this raises the ceiling of VV going first, boy will it lower it even more going second. Imagine drawing into all those melodious pieces instead of hand traps/board breakers that would have allowed you to play through a board going second. At least branded engine was 4-5 cards.
@@pablepablo2321 and how exactly will you do that against established boards? Most meta decks end on 3 interruptions at least and that’s without potential hand traps in hand, which meta decks are playing at 12-15 of btw.
@samanderson1188 watch the vid where established boards get ran through? HTs aren't the only answer to going second but for some people who dont know how to sequence your engine it's gonna be hard. So get better at the game I guess

I will also give you the benefit of the doubt and say let’s wait for more tcg results during this LEDE format but don’t be surprised if pure Voiceless remains the most represented variant, maybe then I can be the one that tells you to get good at the game lol.

The melodious variant is the best one, puree vouceless/branded ist to weak you dont need more than 1 lo because you can scale diviner (lvl2)

Absolutely does not lower the ceiling going second. U now can play through interruption where before vv really struggled
