Hi Hunter!! I see you from Tijuana Mexico, i like so much your videos, its amazing your upgrades and you inspire to make this things, i have a TT 2001 180, and like you i have many plans to do!! Congratulations!!! Keep going atte Ricardo Best Regards
Good stuff!!! Currently wet sanded and repainting my GSR hood, always seems daunting doing these tasks but so worth it, as you did, just start small and gain confidence
Hey bro great job! Looks amazing you did good bro.. I’m going to tackle mines for the first time this summer.. how much wrap did you order? I was thinking to order 5 feet X 75 feet just to have plenty incase I need do it over till I get it perfect.. how much did you order?
literally stumbled across your channel, as I'm prepping to wrap my b5 s4 in the exact color lol whats your plan for wrapping around the door handles (thats what I was searching for) ignore if you already have a video up, im about to look now
@@teammillion2 wow that is awesome! I appreciate that! No I hadn't wrapped anything before that. I am however planning to wrap my other car here in the next few weeks. Any tips are absolutely appreciated!
Very good job, bud! How is that Vinyl holding up? I’m in between 3M Gloss intense blue and VVivid Ultra Gloss Smurf blue for my stage 3 S4. Is the extra money really worth it from the 3M? And 5’x30’ should be plenty for the whole car, right? I’m going to be helping my friend who actually knows how to do this. Great stuff! Thanks!
I actually just sold my carbon hood off my santorin, going back to full colormatch. I think it’ll look great if it’s all color matched, or even wrap the hood in carbon. Tinybot has very realistic looking carbon wrap, stek as well but that’s wet apply PPF.
That sounds awesome! I think both options would look great with the new color. I'll definitely color match for the time being while I decide. Thank you for the support!
Super impressed with all of your projects. My vote is to maintain color consistency throughout. I think it will enhance the perceived value as opposed to pho carbon. I'll take it a step further by suggesting leaving the lip front spoiler off. After going through two on mine, I'm much happier with the O.E. look. Keep it classy as it makes for a better sleeper. Looking forward to seeing how you wire those DRL's so I can do mine too.
I agree. I will definitely be wrapping the hood to match the rest of the car! I will keep the splitter idea in mind. The one I chose is custom so that it will flow with the styling of the front bumper. We can always take it off if we don't like it. Thank you for the support:)
Haha the cactus green is my favorite factory color as well. It's not technically cactus, but it's pretty close from what I can tell. Thank you for the support!
I am really glad to hear you like the color! It really is underrated haha. I'll definitely be on the lookout for a sale on carbon hoods. Suspension is probably a better first investment though haha. Thanks for the support
I would pass on the carbon hood. I think carbon hoods on B5's look odd on because of the way the hood wraps under the front grill. The 1" of carbon under the grill looks bad against the colour of the front bumper.
Love it, hope your channel gets all the subscribers you deserve! I've got a thing for carbon hoods too (bonnets over here!) and have been close to getting them for both my cars... I got some Osir carbon parts for my TT already...
Hey thank you, that means alot to me. And I love OSIR parts! They are gorgeous! I will have to look at more for my tt. The fenders they make look incredible haha.
Very educational video! I have a a4 b5 1.8T and i will also wrap it myself. I learned a lot of ur commentary!! Hom much wrap foil do i need to buy? I'm from Belgium that's why my English isn't 100% hahahha. I can't wait to see more of the b5!
I am glad you have been enjoying the videos! I used a vinyl wrap from a company called Vivid and absolutely love it. They are a really great company too. As far as wrapping the b5, if it is your first time, I suggest getting more than you need to do the car so you have some room to make mistakes and re-try panels. I ended up getting a bit over 100ft of vinyl and I have quite a bit leftover. If you did the whole car perfect the first time it would probably take a 50-75 foot roll. Hopefully this helps. Thank you for the support!
I don’t typically like green cars but I do like your colour choice here. I know it’s currently black but I’m not sold on the contrasting/black bonnet. Might look better in carbon fibre as most thing do.
I agree. I think the contrast doesn't look as good with the green as it did with the blue. I will absolutely be wrapping the hood to match:) thank you for the support. Glad you like the color!
Really Great job thus far man 🤜🏻🤛🏻 carbon hood would look awesome, but so would green. roof i would wrap black either way . At the end of this project some LM’s or FI-R’s would look killer👌🏻 ( and kinda trying to squeeze out early info if possibly new wheels are in the near future🤣🤣 )
I will definitely be keeping the roof black! That's a must for any build haha. I'm stoked to hear you like the progress so far! Those would look great🤔. And don't worry, wheels will definitely be purchased for the car when we get to that stage. I'm probably going to rebuild the suspension first and make these my winter wheels first though. Thank you for the support!
@@HunterDirection I think a little carbon detail you could add is the pillars that separate the windows. They make carbon pieces of those they look really nice
I'm glad you find it inspiring! It's really fun to learn. I haven't done the dented panels quite yet(tackling them today ironically), but I have some body filler I'm planning to use in combination with sanding to get them smooth again. It should be in the next few episodes that I go over that:) thank you for the support
Green with black accents is sick man. It's like a military vibe, I dig it.
I am glad to hear you like the color choice! Thank you for the support!
Beautiful, well done. Great job!
Hell yeah bro!!!!!!!!! So stoked to see you picked green. You have great taste my friend. Looking forward to the finished product. Goodluck buddy
I'm looking forward to the finished product too! I am glad to hear you like the green! It's such an underrated color. Thanks for the support!
Super impressed, great job. You’re only going to get better and better.
Hey thank you so much! I really appreciate that:)

Looking good bud. I am about to wrap my bummer also.
Thank you! It's a really fun process to learn
Lets go! cant wait to see what else is coming ! id say a carbon hood would be awesome
I'm so glad to hear you are excited! Thank you for the support

Wow what a great first wrap you did very well for your first time doing that!
Thank you so much! It was a really fun learning process
@@HunterDirection I've been doing it for 6 years and that's a pass for me have you wrapped anything else?
@@teammillion2 wow that is awesome! I appreciate that! No I hadn't wrapped anything before that. I am however planning to wrap my other car here in the next few weeks. Any tips are absolutely appreciated!

Nice job carbon hood would look great but it depends what kind of vibe you are going for. Either is good your choice.
Awesome job! Although a carbon hood is steezy, I personally would wrap the hood along with the rest of the car
Thank you for the support! I completely agree! That's ironically what I ended up doing a few episodes later.
I actually just sold my carbon hood off my santorin, going back to full colormatch.

Love the color choice, would look great with carbon fiber hood or just wrapped the same! Bravo 👏

hey, where did you order that wrap from? i cant find any wrap larger than 1,22m
Also where are you located? never really saw i’m from CT!
I am located over in Washington! Never been to CT but I've always wanted to visit that side of the country!
i think you are doing a grat job. But please wrap the hood to match the rest of the car :D
I'm absolutely going to do that. No worries there. Thank you for the support!
I own a 1996 1.9 tdi b5 and It’s dark green
That is a such a great color! Thank you for the support!
What kind wrap is this eBay stuff ?
It's starting to give me Need for Speed underground 2 vibes
Haha that's great😆 thank you for the support!
@Sbe Svnne haha I love that! That's the new theme song for the S4 for sure.
@Sbe Svnne Hell Yeah
This is inspiring me to give my B5 a wrap and do it myself!! What do you do about small dents and rock chips??
I'm glad you find it inspiring! It's really fun to learn.
