- Hey guys, today finally got the chance to show you on how to connect this little device to my Samsung android phone without any WiFi access. Unfortunatelly, my andoid phone doesnt have the option to choose screen mirror from the top menu bar. However, this app saved my life.

When you say "enable wireless display" are you saying turn blue tooth on? I'm not sure where to find that.
No. When you launch the app, you need to click on the 3 dots on the upper right corner and click "enable wireless display". Once you click on it, anycast will show up.

Thanks for the idea but in very few phones that app doesn't work, the phone restarts.
And all that time you were using internet not off.
So there's no way to connect to anycast without some form of internet connection.
Anycast is just too cheap for that.
You might try what I did is to turn on the hotspot on your phone.
Hotspot and tethering from your own phone to your tv with wireless display.
That's the only way it worked for me.
What if the TV is not a smart TV?
I don't know mine isn't connecting should I return it tell them it's fake ??

What phone are you using? Can you find the exact app in the appstore?

Thats version of Samsung mobiles doesn't support Screen mirroring..
Please, must I plug the AnyCast to the TV before turning the TV on?

I dont think this trick will gonna work.. Using hdmi cable direct connection to the phone is way simpler from this guy's video. 100 % no need wifi only data on our phone. Be careful guys dont share your private information..just reminder..

You don't need the WiFi router but you need to activate WiFi on your phone

Hey, have you tried another HDMI port? and remember to power it up, because HDMI itself doesn't provide power to the device.

I didn't see any lag during casting. Just make sure that your phone is close by.

I can't seem to change the mode. My anycast is new and won't change to android mode when I click the button , what am I doing wrong. My instructions say Mira adaptor for HDTV. Can anyone help my version of software on anycast is 19.05.29

Yes, it also works with non smart tv. You don't need to have WiFi on your TV, you are streaming from your phone. You only need HDMI port on your TV and nothing else. But the device has usb cable for power which you can connect to a phone charger :)

As I remember some phones they have this option on the bottom side of the phone. What kind of phone do you have?
@@mollachouse I have a Samsung Galaxy but it still didn't have the option buttons on the bottom
When you start the app, click SELECT TV botton, then will open a screen where it will say "No nearby devices were found" then on the top right corner you will find the 3 dot's.
