It looks pretty calm, but I'm comparing it to the river like this at Atlantis in Nassau.... it definitely had much larger waves and was more like what you would get if you are riding the rapids.
The life jackets are a bummer! The Current action river at Atlantis is much more intense and no life jackets required. Hopefully they relax this policy in the coming months
No it’s good I also thought that but me and a little toddler almost drowned so tried to save her, (it’s at the part we’re the big wave comes it sucks in water, so I got sucked in too) and a lifeguard saved both of us
hey ! I'm travelling to Orlando and 7 other places in 3 weeks. My friends and I chose Universal studios , magic kingdom and the other theme parks. Could you guys recommend some cool waterparks for us ?
Well i don’t know if this one is more aggressive than other rivers like this around the country, but when i went there were large waves and fast movement. It was awesome, but i definitely needed that life jacket just in case from all those waves, but don’t worry there is always life guards around. The waves were a bit taller than me. 😅
this video is a very bad example of what the river is actually like. I've been and there are SOO many wild things in this river, its too much to explain, there is a giant machine in the river that goes off every 30 seconds and it sucks in a lot of water and shoot all of it out and then the rive turns into a tsunami on the first day it wasn't on bc of safety things, and also through out the river they have giant pot holes that go super deep and they are very random, also they have another wave pool addition and distributes waver through the side of the river. Also they have the power jets that turn on randomly and scare the shit out of you when they pop up, they also have sensor triggered water sprays. its a really crazy river. The ride was just limited when this video was recorded because it was opening day. and also the life jacket rule was only for day one.
Ramon Cuevas yeah the river rapid machines were not on during the filming of this video!! I have been at least 11 times to the park in tne last 3 months it's AMAZING!!

Sucks you can't float down the river in just your life jacket. I love the fast river at aquatica. It's wider, faster and you just float fast in just your jacket. This bums me out about Volcano bay
I actually just went there today and me and my friends had soooo much fun in this river and it’s actually more intense then it looks and you actually don’t have an option to use a raft you are only allowed to go in with life jackets on and it’s soooo fun!
Everyone here saying that the lifejackets are a good idea and that this ride is unsafe should search "Hengelhoef wildwaterbaan" on youtube lol, now THAT is a water ride and no one ever drowned or got seriously injured (you do get bruises though lol)
it might be ridiculous but what if you where sleeping or not paying attention and hit your hit hard on the wall and get knocked out and fall into the water. it sounds ridiculous but it can save your life XD.
There is a normal speed lazy river and it has a amazing cave with stars, fog, and lights!! So do yiu research and don't be so quick to judge. Thanks -annual pass holder
yea true that is lame but don't you think . somebody will be snoozing and hit their head against the wall and get knocked out and falls into the water. even thought that would very unlikely happen but you never know but yes that is very lame .
for those of you people complaining about the minimal theming, there was a bad fire during construction, they probably just didn't have the money to replace what was lost, stop complaining.
This is truly one of the ugliest lazy river attractions I've seen. NO water effects, NO cave, MINIMAL theming, NO lighting... this was a HUGE let down from the Universal crew. Hopefully they do some work on it but if they were to do work on it they would need to close the the whole park to do so.
Man this place is beautiful
IT LOOKS SO CALM!
Good job now I want to go there
It looks pretty calm, but I'm comparing it to the river like this at Atlantis in Nassau.... it definitely had much larger waves and was more like what you would get if you are riding the rapids.
Once you get on this you never want to leave! I swear it's that fun!
Cool video
The life jackets are a bummer! The Current action river at Atlantis is much more intense and no life jackets required. Hopefully they relax this policy in the coming months
already lifted the rule. only needed for younger kids.
cometcoastin they will, I have been allowed to go with out a tube or a life jacket
No it’s good I also thought that but me and a little toddler almost drowned so tried to save her, (it’s at the part we’re the big wave comes it sucks in water, so I got sucked in too) and a lifeguard saved both of us
Ty love this video can't to do this :)
wait
It's not even fearless I mean its fun but when it comes to the big waves it makes me feel like I'm gonna fly off the ride!
Now you only wear vests and you go a lot quicker
hi you nees to buy the float??or you can bring your own??
THE FEARLESS RIVER!!!!!!!!!!!
hey ! I'm travelling to Orlando and 7 other places in 3 weeks. My friends and I chose Universal studios , magic kingdom and the other theme parks. Could you guys recommend some cool waterparks for us ?
Priya Rupani aquatica is pretty good as well
Jackeline Garrido thank you .. tho r trip got postponed so im travelling in the next `2 weeks , we'll try that park 😄
Is the reason for the lifejackets, even for the best swimmers because this lazy river is more aggressive compared to other waterparks in the country?

If my sister and I who are both adults don’t know how to swim, will we be okay on this attraction? We are both taller than 5 feet
That’s why they give you life jacket.
reminds me of the Lazy River at Beech Bend park.

and yes i replied to like everyone with the same thing bc everyone was asking the same question. so i just decided to post it myself.
Ramon Cuevas yeah the river rapid machines were not on during the filming of this video!! I have been at least 11 times to the park in tne last 3 months it's AMAZING!!
Exactly
cant wait im going to animal kingdom for pandora and volcano bay on august
i,m in ramada int drive? yes....not the greatest...but is this park a walkable distance?
Even Michael Phelps needs to wear a life jacket on this attraction.
I was just there no tubes for this one
How does this compare to Roa's Rapids at Aquatica?

the rule was lifted btw it was only a thing for like the first 2 days
Ramon Cuevas No, you still can't.
Frogicornity Was Here actually no you can, I have an anual pass and I'm there like every 5 seconds I would know
I actually just went there today and me and my friends had soooo much fun in this river and it’s actually more intense then it looks and you actually don’t have an option to use a raft you are only allowed to go in with life jackets on and it’s soooo fun!
Apparently they relaxed the life jacket policy already.
Always nice going trough a f*cking construction yard and support beams in a resort
Pwr This isn't a resort
Yeah it is a resort 😂. Universal Orlando Resort
universals volcano bay*

the lifejacket rules are ridiculous
Luis Flores You'd be surprised how many people have drowned in shallow waters - especially children. Thus the life jacket rule.
They have already lifted the life jacket rule, and isn't that what lifeguards are for?
it might be ridiculous but what if you where sleeping or not paying attention and hit your hit hard on the wall and get knocked out and fall into the water. it sounds ridiculous but it can save your life XD.
Stop right there. That is what lifeguards are for. The current isn't even that strong for you to unconscious, and the rule has already been lifted.
Did they lift the rule or not?
Big letdown for the cave they promised but I think they might build it in off season looking at the black scaffolding around it so they might build it
Awsomechap 22 there are two rivers in this waterpark and this river is not the one with the cave.
Scarecrow Master the cave on the other one is still rubbish compared to what it was going to be. The one at Blizzard Beach is on par
Awsomechap 22 theres 2 rivers the other one has a cave and this is the fast ride
There is a normal speed lazy river and it has a amazing cave with stars, fog, and lights!! So do yiu research and don't be so quick to judge. Thanks

Lifejackets for 4 feet of water? LAME.
already lifted the rule. only needed for younger kids.
yea true that is lame but don't you think . somebody will be snoozing and hit their head against the wall and get knocked out and falls into the water. even thought that would very unlikely happen but you never know but yes that is very lame .
TheBlazersfan22 Someone would help them.
that rule doesnt exist anymore, yes ive been there
well the average human can drown in 3 inches of water. and drowning is silent especially with small kids
Why does everyone have life jackets can no one swim?
That's the amazing river they promised? Where is the cave?
Vinny B Its on the other river that is opening who knows when
This is the lazy river
for those of you people complaining about the minimal theming, there was a bad fire during construction, they probably just didn't have the money to replace what was lost, stop complaining.
Sorry
What happend to the cave they showed in the commercials 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Darwin Gonzalez Not finished
Darwin Gonzalez Good things come to those who wait
Yeah why are they wearing life jackets there not going to drown unless the don't know how to swim
Nicholas Bottoms-pace the rule has been lifted
Still prefer aquatica
J Green You must not have watched anything about Volcano bay.
I had such high hopes for this park, but Siam park is much better.
The volcano is so ugly on the inside they should have put more effort into it
Dr. Dank How do you know?
What a lame answer. If they still are working on the park, they should have delayed opening it.
This is the final product, the slides are exposed on the back.
Savanna eloise They can't just delay the opening. They still have cabana's to build, and they still have more decorations. I've been there.
Clax Good point

Worse last river of any water park, life jackets are stupid
No thanks
Tim Lee They all ready lifted the life jacket rule
Life jackets are NOT stupid. They keep u safe dumb ass
