I absolutely love this tumbler! I'm in the process of making one. I have spray painted the cup with the white rustoleum spray paint, but I don't know how long I need to wait for the white spray paint to dry before I do the alcohol ink. Does it need to dry completely?

I love love love this! Soooo want to try. But i have a question do you really have to glitter the whole cup? It seams like a big waste to do so. Is it because of levels not being even? But wouldn’t the epoxy even that out? I mean it does when u put on a decal. Oh my artist brain is arguing with science brain.

Thanks so much! This was my second one ever and I've since made about 20 or 30... and I haven't used the blue lagoon again only white. So not not totally necessary... just a little added effect. I also have another tutorial for this same design but I use Crystalac products now. If you happen to watch that one you will see that I only use white spray paint now. :) I hope you have fun making yours! :)
Did you use flat/matte spray paint with the power wash method? Only time I've ever gotten it to work with me is with matte spray paint but I have alot of glossy spray paint and really wanna make it work, if possible.

I love Sea Turtles. Your tumbler is amazing. I am very new to tumblers. The only thing I noticed is you do not see the turtles very well. Any ideas on hoe I can make s a beautiful tumbler and make turtles more prominent. I hope I am not out of line asking you this. If I am I apologize. Thanks so much for watching! I think by changing up your glitter color or even your alcohol ink colors you can just play around and make the turtle color really pop! Hi Heather! My inks are all packed away right now. If you ordered the same ones I got… I literally just pulled out all the shades of blues and greens. I do remember after making several though.. the turquoise color when mixed with the others would sometimes yellow… not 100% sure if it was ink combos or possibly my white spray paint. Anyways.. I hope this info is helpful!
Honestly I can't even remember now. I switched to Crystalac a little over a year ago due to major reactions to Epoxy. I think I only used it a couple of times and then had to toss it out. :(

Yes.. flat or matte seems to work best. I’ve used gloss before it’s just a bit tricky. I recommend flat or matte for sure! Thanks for watching!
What transfer tape do you use? I have not found one that I am particularly thrilled with
I’ve tried several different ones. The latest I’ve used and really like is from Let’s Resin.

I 100% prefer Crystalac over epoxy!
It is not recommended to put epoxy over Crystalac. You can although use Crystalac over epoxy.

My turnaround time is about 3 weeks and all of my tumblers are epoxy free now. Well I do have a few epoxy ones listed but for the most part all are now made with Crystalac :)
