Nah, it’ll be an accidental bug 😭
He won’t get changed since every subzero does the same passive gameplan thus he gets reduced damage, and him hitting any freeze attack is a full or extended combo every time , and other characters can’t really do that without the use of cameos, while subzero has both.
@@vonex3397 I don't think you understand that the only moves he has that does any form of freeze on hit is the clone, ball, and his floor move doesn't freeze it slows. The only reason every Sub Zero does a passive gameplan is BECAUSE of the low damage he's been given. Sub Zero can't do good damage combos without kameos, without kameos and meter he'll only get 26%. With Kameos and Butter depending on who you choose the max he can reach is 42%
That's ridiculous. Characters like Homelander can reach that with just 2 sticks of butter and a Janet Cage Kameo.
There's no reason why Sub Zero has shit damage that can be justified.
@@vonex3397 every single special move sub has is punishable. Every combo string has a gap. His damage is trash. He can get punished from full screen away against some characters. He has no way to open you up. Sub is bad in this game.
Tbh homelanders flight cancels should be 2 until it costs meter

@@justinbrown1884 Nitara has godlike combos and damage tho. Her buffs are more about frame adjustments and letting her combo off the darn throw!
I hope they reduce janet cage's damage scaling a little not much just a little because unlike kameleon and other kameos like kano she cannot provide safe on block utilities her damage was the best part

Bro peacemaker did not get nerfed hard. Torpedo is actually better (watch big Floundas video for context. If opponent ducks torpedo he’s back at full screen where he can zone again. And if I’m wrong doesn’t Kano ball hit mid making it safe.
Yeah that torpedo change really didn’t change anything if you just run Kano.

I'm a Shao main. The only buff he needs is his Death Quake needs to be sped up to 30 frames. 40 frames is too slow to be of any use. This would give him mix ups, and something to fire back at zoners.

Homelander has been killed. The whole fun aspect of it was the canceling but since that’s gone if people want to have a more interactive experience they have to go back to ermac. They should have left him alone, a lot of people spent a lot of time learning those combos just for them to get neutered.
He's not killed. He's still good. With sareena he can get 40% meterless. And lets be honest, most people aren't playing homelander by doing combos with a bunch of flight cancels. Most are flying and zoning.
Plus, it was obvious that that was going to be fixed. It even said it in the move list that that was supposed to cost meter after the first cancel.
he is broken his ovrhead should be -20 on block but they still didnt fix it

Homelander was fine the way he was ;they only needed to fix his block infinite and ground sliding.
Now after that nerf....shit man youre better off Shang Tsung morphing into Homelander than playing Homelander because you're getting more damage for less work.
No, Homelander was bugged. Even the move list said it was supposed to cost meter after the second time, and it would make sense if all his cancels were free when Omniman and Natara don't get that luxury. His meterless damage still isn't bad. With Sareena you can get 40% meterless. Lastly, most people aren't even canceling multiple times in one combo. Like a good 80% of the homelanders I've fought just run, fly, and zone.
I'm shocked you didn't even mention it, but this patch added 60 fps to all in-game cinematics for the PC. All the menus, character select screens, Invasion, intros, outros, XRAY moves, Fatalities, and even Brutalities. It's amazing

Welp so much for me playing homelander that was what I loved about him being able to fly mid combo for a overhead low mixup now everyone will just block the crap out of him ig I'll just learn another character I liked him more than Omni man tho so that sucks

I would’ve preferred a small tweak on how Khameleon works, the glave toss should only come back on hit than on block and the broken mirror needs a slight bigger damage reduction because nobody uses it enough. As for Peacemaker and Johnny, they needed more nerfs like an additional 2 second cooldown when you use Eagly for Peacemaker or a slight damage nerf for Johnny.
Khameleon needs more nerf. Peacemaker needs to be tweak. And homelander still needs more nerf

At this point I would really like them to reach out to players for advice before balancing. The devils in the details but it would be so much better than leaving it in their hands.

Peacemaker and Khameleon need more nerfs and more changes.
Peacemaker has had his following nerfed: Health, Torpedo, Eagley, Force Field, Anti-Gravity, Damage scaling, Deagle combo extensions off projectiles, and Stryker got nerfed greatly as well which was his best kameo. So what exactly left is there to nerf? 😅 everyone just needs to get better at the game and stop crying already 🤷♂️
We still not gonna talk about the glaive for Kamelon when its still invisible word
For one they need to make it 3 combo breakers which only cost one bar. Since they can't balance the game enough that will be good enough for me because with those extra 2 breakers it will give people that are good enough to compete a fighting change on those who play everyday. Point is on MK9 there is one of these players I beat but haven't been able to beat in MK1 as consistently because of the games unbalance. Extra combo breakers give those a better change that are good enough to compete but get caught up in those big combos and more consistency to win.
If they do make this change, it should be 2 bars. Not 1
They released homelander unfinished that’s for sure but the changes on the parry is really the most interesting

They should make glaive 0 or -1on Block give khameleon the same health as mavado and remove some plus frases from jhonny like instead of +3 it should be +1 or something like that he was al over the recent tournament
All they need to do is make Ball Roll, Fan Lift, and Glave cost the full bar with regular recharge or 75% bar with slow recharge. Same with Cyrax. That way it’s a nerf but still makes them viable.
IDK what to say about Janet cage hop punch I was gonna use her with Ermac and give her try or with my girl Nitara and Janet but I hope they didn't nerf her 3x times hop punch move for her damage ratio
scorpion should be buffed by making his amp ground tp a launcher again and make the cancel built in to both his regular and amp tp
also Quan shi needs his mind control move from mkx back, and make half his moves faster. and finally his low tentacle needs to be one bar
Do you not feel like havik need major fixes because I’m a havik main and I’m seeing all these characters and kameos get all new moves or frame changes and havik only got touched to change his force ball
@Nrs.. What am I going to use my silver coins for? Not that much skins for silver coins in this season while grinding skins in Invasions.. I think nrs needs to add different rewards for different place rather than just skins everywhere. You have brutalities to grind, kameos, kameo clothes or even kameo cosmetics heck yall can even make a character to be only unlocked in KL and make its price high cse its a KL exclusive.. jeez

Definitely would have preferred them go all in to make Homelander a cancel animation character. I HATE playing against Zoners and I'm pretty sure there's not a single person on the planet who goes "Oh boy it's a zoner this will be so much fun!" so nerfing his laser damage or something and then making the flight cancels part of his kit would have been way more fun imo.
If the game were have charge inputs, the nerf on Peacemaker shoudent will necesary.
Well I just got nerfed to 900 health with peacemaker khameleon and 950 for smoke scorpion and subzero we love this game
Serious question. The only other fighting game I play religiously is over 10 years old (Marvel vs Capcom 3) so it’s obviously no longer subject to patches/updates. I’ve put a good amount of hours into MK1, because MK is just such a classic game. What I wanna know is, for a modern day fighting game, is it normal to have this many patches?? I’ll go a few weeks without playing and every time I come back, something has changed. It feels like I keep returning to a rough draft, and it makes me want to play the game less. Are other fighting games constantly getting updates to individual character gameplay like this?

Does nobody think that these balance patches may have something to do with FERRA. Shes going to have a damage buff which could essentially crack most characters damage and she can use it TWICE. Maybe this is why she has been pushed back to ensure they don’t break the game….
I still feel like scorpion (fighter and kameo) needs more moves, some move reworks, and buffs
stuff I would want to see:
Flame port should be buffed to be a viable teleport
Enhanced twisted kyo should be safe on block but could also be like a secondary spear when landed on to an opponent
Enhanced spear should get a SMALL burning effect
Rework his back 3 into back 3 3 so that it back 3 can be used as a new low to start combos
Add the high and low fireball move invasions as a new projectile (but make it so that it can’t be spammed)
Kameo scorpion should get flame port
Kameo scorpion forward attack should be replaced with scorpion’s back 2 2 from mk11 and also turned into an ambush attack
Kameo scorpion could also get demon breath
I think the best nerf to give to khameleon is to make glave, fan lift, and ball roll the full kameo bar.
Also i hope for a mileena buff🙏🏽😭 i would like for a full screen projectile which truely is all she needs but for fun i would also like to see standing 3 a mid, make f3,4,3 able to do on block, make s3,4 or f3,4,3 launch because i noticed that almost all the females dont have a combo launcher and let her use air sai after teleport and teleport after amp air ball.

I don't think the torpedo nerf is bad, if they made it like johnny's dash kick where it pushes while the player is ducking then yeah it would be a hefty nerf, I don't see a reason why people will stop playing exactly the same way anyway

This sucks that they changed Cyrax to full bar forward and not half bar forward cuz I play Cyrax with Geras and I SUCK with cyrax, I get poked out of his forward copter EVERY time but sometimes I do it right and it keeps me safe cuz Geras is not safe at all. Now I can't do that 😭
