That 72 is almost just like Robert Robb Sr.'s bike, RIP. If you are not familiar with him he was a motovlogger out of Bakersfield. He got pancreatic cancer which spread to his liver. He died last year from it. He was a lane splitting fool. You can still check out his videos. I miss him.

It's got slip on exhaust, so sounds a bit throatier than stock. But nothing out of the norm from lots of the harleys I've had. Itll die if I try and get it up on one wheel, that's for sure! Hahaha.

Alita was cool man, I liked the wing chun style e fight 😝. The bike is cool too was always my dream bike but never got it.. I got dyna but not much happy with it. Even the forward controls in city is useless always legs up and down 100times per hour lol and the left foot pags is 1 inch shorter from the frame then the right one what a joke! On all dynas with forward controls. Bulshit. ..

I would put a 19 inch front tire and wider forks if I could the remainder is very nice. And you gave a nice walk around on it. So what do you call this? Flipping bikes instead of flipping houses? You should write a book. I would love to have a garage full of bikes.

Had to give you a thumbs down. I thought you were going to show us an actual 1972 sportster. My first bike was a 1965 sportster. Then a 1971 sportster. I was hoping to see a 72 now days. I've found an mostly all original 1971 with 6 over stock forks. Actually built in 1971. This guy just leaves it to rot away in his garage. I need to start hitting him hard on selling it to me.

My buddy had a nice 72 for one season, then traded it in on a Dyna. He has regretted it ever since!
Yeah, both solid rides. Theres something fun about the 1200 - sporties. Good power to weight ratio it seems. Not super big/heavy but wicked fast.

The 72 is one of the best looking Harleys. I`m a big fan of the 1200 Iron and if I were to get a Sporty, it would be this or the Iron
