My favourite of Adrians compositions. Takes me to another World. Fairy Celtic land where all the stress doesnt exist. Free of Worldly pains. Just serenity tranqulity and fairies and Angels.
celtic music and rock music together=pure poetry
nordic and celtic music (of any kind, including/especially metal) gives me the refreshing sensation of cold breezes from dense forests covered partially in snow, and fresh meadows as far as the eye can see, wind brushing and bending the green grass. it paints these images in my head.
The two cultures were quite mingled back then. A lot of beings and chief deities were of similar nature.
I thought I was the only one haha lol. I like celtic archetype so much :)
I found this again after so many years at 2024 - still love it. Brings me back to my teenage years. Its quite emotional, like meeting an old friend

Ich möchte hier einmal mein lob und auch meinen Dank aussprechen: deine musik ist einfach nur eine riesen inspirationsquelle für mich sodass ich mich tatsächlich, Dank diesem Lied, dazu aufraffen konnte den Namen der Hauptperson in meinem zehn kapitel langen Buch abzuändern. Nicht das ich schon fertig wäre aber immerhin hab ich schonmal damit begonnen :D
Komponier bitte weiterhin so großartige Musik du kommst damit nämlich ohne weiteres an Nightwish und dergleichen ran, bei deren Musik ich überhaupt erst auf die idee kam ein Buch zu schreiben

(as a side note: i agree with you when you commented on Animus the Scholar's post by saying that a Sylvan is a person/creature of the woodland realm..yet at the same time , they are correct that in D&D, it is the same meaning , so in essance, you are both correct. Most people in this day & age immediatly think D&D or LotR or any fantasy novel/game when they hear/read the word "Sylvan." Sadly, people just forget that the word is older than those..much, MUCH older. Thank You for bringing that to light & I hope other people read & acknowledge that this is a modern take on an ancient idea.)

I know and love the movie, but the actual inspiration for this song had nothing to do with it. I actually got inspired when I went to a medieval festival and wanted to escape the croud, and I just walked into the woods nearby. ;)
