Honestly, what I really appreciate about the song is that it mentions the idea of "sad", "bad" and "happy love".
Normally we automatically associate "feeling love" with positive things. But technically, there is no one way to "feel love". It's not just black and white, it has numerous gray areas, outside of "in love" and "heartbreak". Sometimes you love someone, but feel down. Sometimes you love someone and feel happy -a lighthearted love. And sometimes you love someone in such a way that it tears you apart, because f.ex. you have different ways in life and need to go, but it tears you apart because you still want to stay.
"What the hell is love supposed to feel like" captures that idea perfectly.
Because we can only hear/read about how "love is supposed to feel like". But we never directly know if we do. Or in which way.

Disney tricked us all with that love stories. They made us believe in the "prince/princess" that one day will come and save us/we will save... For that happy ending that everyone wants. The part where it says "the prince isnt sleeping when he takes his sleeping beauty on his snow white horse" i think it means cheating which is how some relationships end.. and in the chorus it says "bad love, sad love, happy love turns into giving up, hurt love. " Bad love and sad love i think it means abusive relationships which you dont see in the disney movies..and happy love turns into giving up, i think it means at the start of the relationship its like the movies..then one of them grew tired of the relationship...

I genuinely feel it’s not just Disney that gives these “happy ending” vibes. Luckily it’s to empower children into being more positive it’s better than being depressed 24/7.
Although animated movies from another companies follow the same or so concept as well as other movies.
But one thing I gotta say is even though things tend to be a lot sadder nowadays it still doesn’t change the fact this worlds needs and deserves much more positivity!
