I absolutely love your filming techniques from the gorgeous settings to Natural lighting to the color brilliance; the ground level view and your single subject focus. Visually stunning- outstounding work! Wow
I can watch your videos all day long these winter months; when the weather is not suitable for birdwatching. I am particularly fond of them because you not only capture beautifully the very rare species (although Belarus in this respect is a paradise as you show) but also the very common ones. You never betray the true beauty of your subject by only going for the recording of sensational behaviour and yet the patience of your observations shines through all of them. Also the sounds; the calls or singing of the birds and the absence of silly music to go with your stunning images makes me coming back to your channel constantly. Thanks a lot.
A shorebird is any bird that belongs to the order Charadriiformes, whilst shorebirds of the families Turnicidae (Buttonquails), Pedionomidae (Plains Wanderer), Thinocoridae (Seedsnipes), Rostratulidae (Painted Snipes), Jacanidae (Jacanas), Scolopacidae (Snipes, Sandpipers, Curlews, Godwits, Woodcocks, Dowitchers, Phalaropes, Shanks, Tattlers, Turnstones, Knots, Stints, Dunlin, Ruff, and Surfbird), Charadriidae (Plovers and Lapwings), Pluvianellidae (Magellanic Plover), Recurvirostridae (Avocets and Stilts), Ibidorhynchidae (Ibisbill), Haematopodidae (Oystercatchers), Burhinidae (Stone-Curlews), Chionididae (Sheathbills), Glareolidae (Pratincoles and Coursers), Dromadidae (Crab Plover), Pluvianidae (Crocodile Bird) are collectively known as waders, additionally waders are a paraphyletic group as the latter five families are most closely related to the gulls (family Laridae), skuas (family Stercorariidae), terns, noddies, and skimmers (family Sternidae), and puffins, razorbill, auks, auklets, guillemots, murres, and murrelets (family Fraterculidae).
Absolutely wonderful, I was busy with my bird books picking up each species. I saw from previous comment, this was in Belarus, do the waders breed there or are they on the way south?
Might you describe how you achieved such smooth shake free focus pulls? Or was this done by filming in 1080p and downsizing to 720p and using digital transitions in editing software (ie not with lens)?
I understand. Any chances of being a bit more specific? I'd like to look up the location on Google maps to try and find similar-looking spots near me - so don't be affraid, I won't 'flood' your location :) Or at least please tell me this: are these fish ponds? Or some unusually shallow lake? Where do I find those huge flocks of so many rare waders? @@Wildlife_World

Hello. All (except 1) videos were filmed in Belarus. Sorry, I don't always have time to read all the comments.

It's not a secret. These are drained fish ponds. These are everywhere. The only problem is to get to the right place and hide there.
Thanks a lot! I suspected so. All of my best pictures were also taken at drained fish ponds. They are true magnets for waders. @@Wildlife_World
