Thank you Brian and Matt for the in depth review on your lubricants!!
Trying to give real information to everyone and settle all the lubrication discussion and mystery.
Thank you for the amazing video on the lubricants .. I’ve been tinkering with 2As & 3As for nearly 60 years and you taught me a lot about the lubricants. I’ll will email a request for a price list and info in near future.
Another great video Brian!
Your video has been shared to at least 6 different Jeep and Willys Facebook pages.
I have been providing your email as well!
Thanks for your continued support David. Trying to support my channel and life by getting the correct information out there for the Willys world.
Great video! I need to do a complete lubricant change and service as I have no idea what the PO used. I suspect he took the CJ3A to the "Lubes R Us" place down the street. I notice my Ross box is leaking, the bushings are worn and sloppy. The knuckles are leaking but the seals look well worn. A half tube of Corn Head lube came with the Jeep so I used the balance in the knuckles. My main concern is for the transmission and transfer case. The transmission shifts smoothly enough, very minimal to no gear clash but the transfer case is a real bugger to shift, and yes, I shift the TC when the Jeep is at a standstill. A video about engine oil, filter, air cleaner would be welcomed! Love your channel! Keep the videos coming!
I enjoyed this video and learned a lot, thank you Brian.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Brian n Matt.
Thanks, more videos on the way

Thanks Brian, I will definitely be in touch when the 3b goes back together! The day job is currently interfering big time!
I use 100 mL syringe for squeezing the grease into the knuckle. Works great!
I've got a Diacro 14-48 press brake, looks just like that Version you have there. You should do a shop tour of your machines.
Ok, might be a good topic to cover, thanks
@@metalshaperJeep I would also enjoy a video like that.

I'm looking fo steam r cylinder oil. Help me.....
That transmission lube would be good for a T176 and Dana 300 transfer case?
No, things changed in the later years and it is best to use lighter lube in the 176 and 300
Yes Brian can the transmission oil be used in a Saginaw 4 speed that is what i have in my 1953 CJ-3B mounted to my spicer 18. Also wanted to inquire about a full set of hat channels for the same vehicle. And what are your prices for your lubricants? Thank you Brian
contact me directly at metalshaper@comcast.net and I can send you a list of lubricants that I have.

Do you have lubes for later Jeeps? Specifically differentials for AMC 20 & Dana 30 ?
Contact me directly at metalshaper@comcast.net and I can send you a list .
Hi, are you still selling these lubricants? I don't see a phone number or email address in the description so how do I contact you to purchase a lubricant?
Especially interested in the lubricant for the enclosed knuckles of my Loadstar 1700 4x4's. I'll be doing a complete steering and front axle rebuild next year so I will also need other lubricants too such as wheel bearing grease, power steering fluid, etc. You mention these lubricants are for Jeep and Willy's but this is a heavy duty truck - are these lubricants all acceptable for heavy duty trucks too?
Finally I have a very rare 4-speed transfer case manufactured by Dana/Spicer in one of my Loadstars. It uses many of the parts of a R-8341 auxiliary trans coupled to a Spicer 738 transfer case in one big gear box. According to Spicer I should only use full synthetic gear lube in this trans/transfer case box. What are your lubricant's recommendations for this gear box?
Thank you, Sir.

There are plenty of very good engine oils out there so no need to re invent a good oil for engines. Let me know what you are running and I can try to recommend a good engine oil.
