Have you ever seen a Explorer Smart All Terrain System? It's older for sure, but a blast in any conditions! Eats MUD, SAND, doesn't care for black top. But the snow is its main course, $100 hill in the cinder pits north of Flagstaff, AZ is a crazy climb. Did it 4 or 5 years-old, hope to hit it this year!
Killer! I am told that we can adjust our in-track shocks to a really light ski feel which is somewhat close to a Riot. We are really excited to have such options inside one kit, and the MTN TOP kit that we have coming in may be even more wild! Have a frickin riot this winter!
This season is a massive shake-up for us. Back to TS after perhaps a bit too long of a delay. We'll ride the Yeti's until the new bikes are 100% ready, then they move to new homes.
YEs, we did wait a bit too long to try TS again. But oh, the shootout is WAY stronger than every before. Basically, Yeti is the only kit that is not invited to the party. We may be kinda broke now, but we have 3 new platforms to compare. 🔥
I just read all the comments.. lol 🤣 KK.. well.. yea umm 🤔 Take your "new kit" when you are ready to Pemberton for a hare scramble to the ice caves.. You know who to contact for this You know who's judging.. { us ) Keep it up., Good work.. 👍
Hey! Awesome selections!! Can’t wait for all the testing and comparisons! Can you please do some uphill straight up hill climb tests with all kits?!!! Kind of like you guys did way back with the 2017 TS Mtn horse and 17 yeti!
You betcha! We are looking forward to that getting started. The snow is a bit shallow in our hill climbing test cutblocks, but it looks like -20 and snow all week. Thanks for the note!
Someone has to "suggest it.." The bark Busters situation... Okay okay.., yeah, it happened to me years ago also {McNutt on a CRF250} & yes it did almost feel like I broke my wrist going over the bars.. then I broke a dozen regular guards & a few levers over the course of the following couple years & went back to protective options Once bitten twice shy? I dunno 😏 Anyways.. just lower those aluminum guards a bit on the horizontal plane compared to what you ran previously {not quite a 45 degree downward toward the ground but you can imagine what I'm talking about} & I also pretty much guarantee you will let go on time next time.. the lesson has been learned.. That's was my experience anyways
I don't know about the fork bolts, but keep an eye on the little gold Allen bolts that clamp the tubes on the forks, bring a spare. I think they are 17 ft lb? But they had a bad batch last year.
Thanks! We still have them. In fact, we are riding one or both of them this week. Filming starts on Wednesday! The Yetis will, however, likely be going to new homes after we confirm that our new kits and bikes are ready to party. :P
@@anthonylemke284 Cool. There is a story there with that bike and track kit. Best to chat directly about what we are doing. Reach out to Andrew@GetDATS.com if you are a keener.
The Gas Gas has the exact same frame, engine, and transmission as a KTM or Husky. Different rims and stuff that does not matter on a snowbike. It's great. Save money, buy a Gas Gas, especially if it is going to be a snowbike where literally none of that matters. ;)
This new "wolf pack" competition could be covered in combination by drone video, onboard video per vehicle, & by "trail tech" support.? (I'm thinking everyone should be able to see the target on their display to be fair & keep the speed of matches up., This only promotes enhanced competition = yea, waivers might need to be signed, but that's the same with anything these days..)
Well, the reasons were well documented, and well deserved. This video is now old. Watch a more recent, or upcoming head to head video as it has all of the info!
@@powskier Not in one video, across many videos. Many years of filming. Sorry, you have to dig for that info. Your question also just leads me to more questions. Which Yeti? Compared to which track? Happy digging.
Perhaps there is something else to add to this sport.. (Well obviously it'll happen eventually.. something new will be added., But by who & when) How about a new game..? = Wolf pack or something like that The agreed "fastest guy" & his bike are chased by the rest & everyone has an old jeep antenna on a 45 degree angle coming off the back of their track tunnel with something attached to grab {like a fake raccoon tail for example) This creates benefit to become faster in the trees., Or faster on the straights., Or faster uphill., Or escape by jumping downhill consecutively., Or ect ect.. Of course video documentary is encouraged "perhaps mandatory" {although we could forgive quality & quantity of course)
How exciting is this!
Oh yeah! Patiently waiting for my Aro 3 S Pro to ship.
Twinsies!

Wish I had put on the long seal savers when i rebuilt the forks this summer.
Ice on the tubes is hard on the fork seals.
Absolutely!
I have a new riot 3 pro can't wait to ride!!!

So excited to see a timber sled this season!

Ditching the Yeti and going for the Timbersled, good call👍👍

I want it so bad... I'm just on the stupid old Aro 3. I do love it though but very jealous.

Awesome! Same here in the Kootenays, open cut blocks still have some big pokeys. The trees are getting decent though!
Surprised to see the jump from Yeti too
We'll soon find out if that was a good move, or not. I am really scared to sell my 120 SS as it is amazing, and can't be replaced.
The corded mastercraft impact is too much for me to handle 🤣
That thing is cray.

Sounds like a pretty solid suggestion!
Impact driver on the front forks bolts? I thought that’s a no no
Chad really knows what he is doing. I did not film all of the boring torque cheques. He never went to far with that beast and then had to back it off.
I don't know about the fork bolts, but keep an eye on the little gold Allen bolts that clamp the tubes on the forks, bring a spare.

any specific reason why you decided to go towards the S version? great vids btw!
Lower centre of gravity is the top reason. We are not hucking off cliffs. Chad loves this track kit, and he rips.

I wanna try! What kind of motor cycle is this? Sore iam new lol
What will the fleet consist of this winter?
Will the gasgas have a nice Spanish lady name?
Names for the new gang are top secret right now! Tracks are Timbersled Aro 3 S, MTN TOP, and CMX! What fun this year will be!
How is the gasgas

Supposed to be over 60hp on the Dyno, i heard
Not only that it’s a cpl pounds lighter than the KTM and Husky. Perfect snowbike.
where do i find one of those top of the tunnel protectors?
Innerspace Watersports in Vernon
