This work was inspired by the Brecht play The Caucasian Chalk Circle. This musical can be enjoyed by children (and adults!) of different ages, and follows the story of a maid, Grusha and the troubles she has when she saves the baby Prince from a castle under attack. She is force eventually to go to court, where she is placed at the mercy of a judge who is not what they seem. For Key Stage 2-3 children.
