Bull. I did their customer service and they make you jump through so many hoops. Spent an hour on the phone doing restarts (when I already did this and troubleshooted to determine backlight was out) and then they demanded I send them video of my tv not working. Then, they tell me I have to pay to ship it back so they can fix it. That’s about $150 -$200 of my money for them to fix their tv which broke 6 months after I bought it. This is a fake video. Do not buy TCL. That is my good deed for the month. If I can save just one person the pain I have had, it will be worth it.
I had 2 of them, both had cloudy screens but worked fine for a 2-3 years.
And then, they didn't. I'm not going to recommend them.
My TCL TV broke 1 month after warranty ended. 😭
Give it two more years, the tv will break and TCL won't support you anymore. They're designed to break in just a couple of years.
I've had one of my TCL tvs for longer than that and no issues
My tv fell off it's stand and now it's screen it broken, can it be fixed???
Thanks for the video, gives piece of mind now that im going through the talking phase with TCL, bought a tv on black friday, back lights stopped working within 24 hours, cant return to Walmart as its refund only and doesn't fit in our car anyway. Its either get someone out to repair or rent a uhual pick up. Hoping they can get someone out here.

So I was moving and something barely touched the screen in one tiny spot (you can see the white dot) and the whole screen now won’t work or turn on. How do I fix it?

Hey Greggles do you know if the back light was still turning on like did you see a bluish screen when it was turned on? I have the same issue but mines out of Warranty so I’m trying to trouble shoot
Hey bro. Same here. The backlight seems to be working i can hear sounds from the tv but no picture. Is it the same as his issue i wonder? Or is the screen the issue?
If it is a backlight issue, your screen will be black, but when you shine a flashlight (at an angle close to the screen) you should see an image of your menu or whatever is playing.
What's the point of thus video? Not helpful to anyone with issues with their tv
I was gifted a Philips Roku TV for Christmas 2020 and it broke the other day. I don't have warranty on mine so have no clue if I should get it repaired or get a new TV since I am going to have to pay for it regardless.
My TV stopped working today. I called the support number and all they could tell me was that I could have it repaired by a local repair shop because it was out of warranty. They wouldn't even bother to send someone at my expense

Today my TCL rook TV “PICTURE” looked terribly distorted. 1st. I panicked then I watched ur video, and later called the customer service which I received quick step by step support of how to trouble shoot. In the menu, I when to setting, system,system update ect….the problem was solved by me doing a Manuel update. Thank you for your video, it led me calling CSV technical support.

One of my TCL TVs is about 5 years old I had no prob it's the 55S405 ...my other is a 2021 Android 50 inch TCL ...no problems either...great company to me

@@beezyb3308 Yeah I bought mine in 2018. My wife for up at 4am with one of the kids, turned the TV on and it didn't come on. I went to Walmart to get one this morning. They had 65 inch on sale for less than $300.00.... sold out so we ended up getting a 70 inch Vizio.
