I have a question. I have doubts on whether we should be receiving the Eucharist by hand. And I choose to only go to a priest to receive on the tongue at this time. My question , Since feeling this way, is a deacon a choice to receive the Eucharist. Or is a deacon the same as an EHMC.
Get a pyx. I use mine when certain priests don't permit on the tongue. I never touch the consecrated host, I just use my tongue to take it from the pyx and later at home put holy water in it and drink it.

When you buy one get it Blessed first before using. If your priest asks why you are using one let your priest know you do not want to touch the host and will receive with your tongue. Ummm... unfortunately, there's really no concrete evidence that Washington died a Catholic. It's possible, for he was a highly moral man and knew Catholic clerics but, even if he were baptized on his deathbed, it was something that would have been suppressed since anti-Catholicism was very strong in Virginia. Also, the story of Washington's "vision" has been largely debunked as being the imaginative creation of a journalist in the late 1850's. The giveaway is the multiple use of the words "Union" and "Republic", things that would be paramount in the mind of a Northerner in antebellum America.
