Dallas doesn't have a lot of waterfront properties... Some communities have very large ponds with homes overlooking the ponds. There is a community called the Tribute that has homes on Lake Lewisville. Any home can have a private pool here.

The Summit collection is on 70+ foot lots and they start at $1.5-$1.6m. Taxes are roughly 2% and will be going down next year with the HomeStead exemption being increased to $100,000 from $40,000...
