Great interview. Quality questions and mostly clear answers. I truly hope the league works and there can be 12 to 16 teams in due course. New franchises from existing clubs would always be my preferred option. Even one day including Belfast, Cork Neptune, and other teams in Birmingham, London and Scotland

Thanks. Thought he didn't shy away from answering anything and was to the point. Will be interesting to see where the growth comes from - being told Brighton, Belfast and Nottingham are all being discussed.

Here I am again, feeling like the new chair seems really charming/competent, just like I felt with Aaron Radin (or whatever his name was).
Really hoping and praying this time it's different.

Best thing they could do from a pathway point of view is make it automatic relegation/promotion from ebl1 to BBL , make it mandatory 1000 seat venue for entry to ebl1 and there is no issue. That taps into the British market better in my point of view.

@@thorselckmo7378 Except there just isn't enough 1000 seat venues in the country. Name the teams that are currently in Division 1 that have a 1000 seat venue? I don't think most people realise just how much basketball clubs are struggling and run on passion not profit. Promotion/relegation does not work until we have more stronger clubs, with venues and fanbases.

Being on Dazn won’t help either

What’s wrong with DAZN? I think it’s a great thing to see. A free livestream platform on one of the fastest growing apps?

Can live in 1 of 2 worlds - 1) Everything is crap and there is no hope - therefore meaning no-one ever makes an attempt to change it so it will 100% stay that way or 2) Believing it can change, and people putting in the pre-requisite effort to try and change it giving us at least a chance that it will change. I know which world I'd rather live in and I will surround myself with people who believe in the latter. Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.
