As usual crazy quality tutorial. I guess there are only two Gods of Fusion for now : Millolab and Vito (Pirates of Confusion) I hope we will see more high quality content in Fusion))
Such a cool effect indeed! Until we get the roughen edges I experimented with a couple merged moving fastnoises to the right of pRenderer(after contrast) and I got a similar effect.
Got a question. After a lot of time I made it through your great tut. Thanks! But after getting it to work, over and over again, the particle system 'breaks' and I cant figure out why. I think it has something to do with resolution. If I rebuild it again in the same comp it works, but just stops working again. Thanks for the great tut
@@millolab That was insanely fast. Thanks! So I put together the ellipse, rectangle, 2 backgrounds and the matte control. And it works. And I continue through the tut but at various points the 'drips' stop. Move my up the node tree and see the pRender is not generating anything. Look at the previously mentioned nodes that make up the style input for the Pemitter and they're all messed up. So I rebuild that portion, and it works again, until it doesn't. I actually did this tut a while back, and opened it again today, and the particles were not working until I rebuilt the input again. Its like the matte control is changing to 1080 resolution despite the background node having 50x500. Or I guess the matte control doesnt have a background, wheres it getting its resolution from?
@@aaronmellon2359 Try changing the resolution inside your mask nodes, the Rectangle and the ellipse. Sometimes they can revert to the default. They shouldn't if you have them connected to the BG nodes.
I have a problem actually, every time I restart davinci and come back to fusion I can't see the particles, and I need to redo manually the two first polys, the backgrounds and the matte, I don't know if there's a solution for this
@@kire_S you're loosing all the floating point data of the image. The Loader node should be able to display the HDR image. Maybe you are missing some setting in the loader? like the "loop" maybe?
You are doing the Davinci Resolve community a great favour by teaching us such insane Compositing for free! Thanks!
15:35 My jaw dropped to the floor. Great video!
Very cool effect. Thank you so much for posting.

Yess!!❤❤ if you make a fusion course I will pay for it!
amazing, really need that roughen edge node
Very cool tutorial as always. Think its very inspiring to see an After effect tutorial translated into Fusion. Great job and super cool effect.
Master! I'm a big fan of you and Texturelabs also. Big THANX for posting!
That's bloody interesting!!!
From where do i download the lightwrap node?
OMG, Thank you so much! Greatest tutorial!
Woah This is cool
A great lesson and a beautiful result
Thanks Max! means a lot coming from you! :)
Omg...I'm going to need watch this video multiple times 😄

wow this is genius. i suggest do video copilot's crossfire next.
Woohoo less goo 🔥🔥🔥
my resolve crashes when i try to look at the p emitter
very very cool, thank you

what do you mean by "Breaks"? Can you be more specific?

amazing!
Is there a way to get the ML Roughen Edges Node?

it's the polygon mask that makes the drip. I forgot to set the resolution in the image tab. Just do that and you'll be good.
Thanks!!!
Sick video!! Does this also work in the free version?
Yes
owww very nice thanks
Genuis!
nice
The loader node doesnt load the HDR image, it doesnt appear on the screen, how can i fix this issue?? Thanks!!
are you in DR? or in Fusion Studio? If in DR, are you using a loader node or a Media in?
@@millolab DR, I solved it by saving the .hdr to .jpg, but I don’t know if the result is the same. Using a loader node

@@millolab the loader node appears in red… loop is checked 🥴
@@kire_S ok, check what the console message is and copy paste it in here! :)
