Never heard Dean talk with his stutter before so didn’t know he had one and I literally have the same type of stutter😂
It’s like the word is right on your tongue and you just can’t say it.
Other people have the more stereotypical stutter where it’s literally the “th th th th that” but ours is like “thhhhhhhhhhhhh that”😂
I work in business so I’m stuttering like that in business meetings all the time lol

It's usually edited out in most videos of his and ones he's in. You can catch it during FD interviews during the events. Hearing him unedited in a podcast, it's not hateful. I have a friend with a pretty bad one. Seems if you're confident in what you're talking about, it happens less. Just my observation from conversing with peeps.

27:20 See? People don't want to believe me when I say the Viper is rear biased. Its also mid engined; not rear mid-engined, but front mid-engined. For a vehicle to be classified as 'mid-engined', the engine must sit in front of the rear wheels or behind the front wheels. The Viper engine sits behind the front wheels, and thus, can be classified as mid-engined. 😌👍

That's so crazy hearing Dean's story about field driving. I've heard the same mentioned from the Shanahan's and James Deane on how they got started too.

I think we need an official field drifting comp. 100hp or less cars

Dean really falls in this category of drivers that I feel would perform so much better with a more conventional and forgiving my chassis, we never quite got the opportunity to see his full potential yet

I agree but there is something to be said about going your own way and doing it differently.

@@jacobgettins don’t get me wrong I totally agree and find this stance to be inspiring, without risks drifting would still be the same as it was 20 years ago. That being said, I can’t help but think that this guy would be a lot closer to the top 10 or even 5 with an LS powered S chassis or BMW. Can’t wait to see him shred this weekend

Even worse about the idea of a Dodge sponsorship is that after this model year they won't have any rwd car to promote. The only new rwd car sold in their dealership network will be the Giulia.

Companies have fallen off the path before. Look at the late 70s into the 90s for almost everyone. Lol I'm sure they will.come around when it makes sense.

Would be cool if you can get some of the recent fd drivers that stepped away on the pod like Michael essa, JTP, or Dai. I’m sure those would would give some good conversations about stepping away and such but I’m sure they’re pretty busy as well with there new ventures. Just some ideas!
