Whoever is running the Lego company really knows what they're doing. The games and movies they make are always so high quality it's astounding. It's one of the very few children's companies that actually seem to care about their product.
Well, whatever they're doing... its better than what Disney has been up to. I can't stand Disney so I won't be giving them money for this. Maybe I'll play it if it hits Game Pass.
Lego of old was superior in almost every way. But I guess if you like giving your child brain damage by getting them staring at screen their whole life - this new age is for you. Awesome parenting there.
All right, time for bed grandpa Lucas. Don't want the RUclipss giving you brain damage. I'll put the history channel on so you can reminisce about the good old times.
I remember being a little kid when the first lego Star Wars game came out. It was the greatest thing ever, I at least put like 500 hours on that game as a kid. Now compare that old gem to this game? This game completely blows it out of the water in every possible way. With 4K graphics damn. Now imagine being a 7 year old kid today, getting this game for Christmas or your Birthday. I would be freaking ecstatic as a kid today with a masterpiece of a game like this.
As much as this game is great, I'm glad I grew up with the old one. Before ticktock and Fortnite but technologically advanced to have good video games. We had our childhoods at a good time brotha.
Every kid these days would choose like 10 bucks worth of V-Bucks over this 10/10 game, these Lego games NEVER get enough attention, that's why there's never online anything ever
When you mentioned the updated lightsaber combat, all I thought was “don’t care. Im still gonna use my childhood method of double jump ground slam”. It worked then so it’ll work now
Everything I’ve seen about this game has been nothing short of amazing. Even if you don’t like Lego they clearly delivered an immersive experience, just seeing all the details they’ve added is insane.
I went back to revisit the original Complete Saga today and had some massive nostalgia. I am beyond excited to check this out tomorrow though. It looks amazing.
If I had the original (hooked up even) I would’ve loved to do this I had the original game with all the prequel trilogy episodes so can’t wait for this game!!
I’ve been wanting to do that but I resisted so I can be more excited to play this game. Just rewatched Rebels and the Prequels, I’ve never nerd’d out this much in my life
@@AQS521 the last two missions in episode 2 and the first three in episode 3 are very much Clone Wars adventures (TCW voice actors reprising their roles helps this feeling immensely) but other than that and random encounters set in the Clone War era, there are no levels actually based on the Clone Wars show. Nor any other show for that matter.
I remember getting the first one on the PS2 as a kid and all these years later I just got this yesterday. I absolutely love it! As wonderful as it was back then. Definitely would recommend to anyone who's a fan of the series.
For the longest time I sadly honestly forgot this game existed. Then I'd remember and I'd get super hyped then get extremely bummed when it got delayed. But now I am BEYOND excited to finally be able to be playing this game tomorrow. I grew up loving the original Lego games and this definitely seems like the definitive Lego game. Im very excited
I think the skill tree being basically optional in the game is a good thing. You can progress through the story without using it all which is basically how the OG games played. Also you have the option to get the upgrades and make the game a little easier without breaking the game like collecting and using the red bricks did. Also from the gameplay it looks like the space ship sections are going to work like they did in the OG Battlefront 2. I’m so hyped for that
@@jomo148 Its a lego star wars game. There is no room to RPG. Its a lego action adventure mainly aimed for kids. Full tech trees etc would be 2 much, sure your subjective opinion says otherwise. But TO MY opinion you dont seem to weigh in all the facts attached to the game.
For people saying Lego games are only for kids you are sorely mistaken. The original Lego games were my childhood and even at 18 I still love these games as much now as I did then
The hours I put into The Complete Saga on my Wii, along with all the other LEGO games, is astronomical (pun not intended). I think this game will give us all a warm "Welcome back" feeling :)
i remember in 2009, i was 4 and my dad pulled a big box from beneath the christmas tree, inside the box was a playstation 3, NHL 10, Madden 10, Little Big Planet, Lego Batman, and Lego Star Wars TCS, my uncle would come over what seemed like 7 days a week and play it with me, and i’ll always have that joyous memory with him
One thing that made me really happy is that they allowed for separate "control" for co-op. This means one person can use a controller and the other can use a mouse and keyboard. I'm taking advantage of this by using Steam Remote Play with my friend who lives in another state who doesn't have a controller. It's a blast!
so wait , is there multiplayer?? I thought it was only couch co-op! ngl the only reason I haven't picked it up yet is BC I don't have people over very often, most of my gaming is with friends online, so that kinda makes me sad 😭
If you get the game on Steam, you can use the Steam Remote Play feature to play local multiplayer games with friends. Don’t think a feature like this exists for consoles unfortunately
@@cabclint No official online, but Steam has a feature to make any couch co-op game work online by streaming your game to your friend, and button presses from your friend to you.
I'd love to see Lego Indiana Jones get a modern treatment, because it was the first Lego game I ever played and one of the first games I played completely through in general
Hell yes, that would be fantastic! I doubt it'll happen though, Indiana Jones is pretty much a dead franchise at this point. Doesn't have nearly the following it used to.
Yeah but Indina Jones really doesnt have a fan base to even compare to Star Wars it jus isnt rentable anymore so ig were not gonna be seeing nothing from Indiana Jones ever again
The Lego star wars games were my exposure to star wars as a kid and we're how I experienced the movies. Excited to play this with my partner eventually. We love playing the Lego games together. Good to hear this one seems good!
My grandparents have Episode I: A NEW HOPE on VHS and shortly after my parents got a bootleg copy of Rots shortly after it came out so I've pretty much been a fan my whole life
I’m only 13 but when I was like 5 I used to play the complete saga every single day with my little brother. This was my exposure to Star Wars, before I even saw the movies. I am for sure going to get this game for nostalgia
I'd like to see them try and tackle the animated and live action star wars tv shows. Playing through Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian Lego style could be incredibly fun.
One of my favorite parts of this game now that it’s out is hearing the voices from the animated series coming back in EP3. That could have been an easy mess up but they perfected it!
Not even joking when I say this is my most anticipated game of 2022. Lego Star Wars was my childhood and what they've done with this new one looks amazing.
Pod racing is what I'm for sure looking forward to with this. I remember playing that level many times just for the fun of it, even after I had collected everything already. At the time it was the only way I knew how to play it. I'm honestly hoping that we get a remaster of the dedicated pod racing game, but I doubt that'll come.
So far i think the podracing level is the only thing that the original did better, i just dont like the first person pespective and you cant podrace with spaceships in skywalker saga
I'm actually super impressed with the completely revamped combat system. Previous Lego game's combat system was a little bit dull. The Marvel and DC games aren't as bad because of the superpowers, but still a little bland, repetitive, and too player sided. Really glad to see the completely new combat system, and I'm curious where they're going to take this in future Lego games.
I’d love to see a battlefront single player game during the clone wars and get to fight on all the different worlds during that time. That would amazing.
I'd like to see them do like a 4v4 Multiplayer mode with this new combat system, where you can pick any character you have unlocked and just duke it out and play random objectives and such on maps that take place on iconic locations. I feel like thats the one thing that lego games are missing nowadays; online modes. It'd be a lot of fun.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved the concept of a Lego Star Wars game, combining my two loves into one. I had both of the original games, as well as the complete saga, which included both games in one. I wish they would modernize the Lego Lord of the Rings games. I had the original game on Xbox 360, and with the hype still around Lord of the Rings, I think a remake would be awesome
I’m not really someone who plays Lego games but I really want this one. Maybe because I’m a Star Wars nerd but when I see the footage from running around the open world and flying through space it just looks, as you said, like comfort food. Looks like a game I can just through on, lower my stress, hit the nostalgia high, and relax.
Its not. It has very little story, which has been embedded in the cut scenes. The missions last 5ish minutes each. The game is in Exploring the planets to find stuff, which is all padding. Other than that, if you just did the story, you could race through it. I was very suprised to find that the "missions" basically have nothing to them.
@@ner31k37 LOL WTF is your comment? YES, it is. It doesn’t matter if it has “very little story”, you’re not playing ANY of these Lego games for deep storytelling. LOL Are you being serious!? NO ONE IS! It’s Legos! Their just brief summary of key events told in comedic fashion as ALL Lego games are about. They hell did you think this Lego series is about? You think your actually getting deep complex storytelling in Lego games? Lol are you for real? That’s laughable as ALL Lego games are just comedic family friendly fun of events, that’s it. ALL the story of MOST video games are “eMbeDdEd iN tHe cUtSceNeS” your not making ANY sense as telling the story in cutscenes is as common as common can get for video games, your not making ANY sense PERIOD! Saying that the missions law “5ish minutes each” is pure putrid nonsense as that’s 100% NOT true at all, it’s beyond ridiculous that your insane to say that and think your making any sense. The missions last WAY longer than that when your not rushing through stuff and actually take time to explore each levels which you CLEARLY aren’t even trying to do. ALL the Lego Star Wars games has few cutscenes overall in each episode. And LMAO are you serious with your next sentence? The game “is in exploring planets to find stuff” is NOT “PAdDinG” in the slightest. WTF is that? That’s called exploration in Lego brick building and creation for EVERY Lego game. Apparently your so dense that you think exploring is apparently “aLl pAdDiNg” that’s putrid nonsense as that’s obviously not true at all. It’s embarrassing how you failed to understand this at all. You can “race through” ANY game if your just did the story and that’s it. Your not making any sense here. The missions DO have plenty to do that’s as common as common to expect OUT of a Lego game. It’s like you have NO idea WHAT Lego games are about as their all about level exploration, brick type collecting, Easter egg hunting, secrets unlocked, and humorous events scenarios being played out. This IS the best Lego Star Wars game out and even more so by making it have all the elements that made the previous ones fun and exciting and even more so from added fun context OF expected from Lego Star Wars gameplay elements. Your not making any sense here out of not knowing what to expect out of here.
@@1KQ_ lmao, its not like "every" other lego game. Have you ever played a lego game? In ALL other lego games, they have set missions that you play through. In this game, there isn't. They have integrated the linear open world, into the missions.
Alternate title: Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga After You Buy And Are Waiting To Play Also would love a modern Lego Batman game with the 3rd person over the shoulder camera like this game has. No more fixed camera angles(mostly) is honestly one of my favorite changes this game has made.
@@spaceysteam5206 The camera angle is great, have a solid 8 hours in on Xbox and it feels great. And I had completely forgotten about the camera and gameplay changes till I was loaded into the first episode. Game is hands down the best Lego game made.
The NPC allies you have do in fact a lot of fighting if you cycle between the characters WHILE you fight. I believe this is to entice you to use every character you have, rather than plowing through with one singular character.
@@garpafieldjovi4785 And you’re absolutely right. I ONLY found this out because I saw my other character doing nothing, so I swapped to him mid attack. Doing so allows to string a couple more combos before going back to the other one. It’s a very vague mechanic.
Ik ik I’m super late-but I think the developers did this because they didn’t want you to just have the NPCs do all the work and you end up doing nothing. However they could have found a better way to implement that idea
I remember in the compleat saga, the last mission in the revenge of the sith was by far my favourite because the level was set on mustefar and at the end of the level instead of just getting a cutscene where obi-wan won the duel you actually have to fight the second player which was pretty neat. I hope that still happens in this new game but I have a feeling that won’t be the case.
They totally ruined it, the other player essentially stands around as C3PO. Might as well just play that in 1 player mode so at least one person can enjoy it properly. Looks like a great game but I'm hugely bummed about that
@@-Teague- well it's just one boss fight, I think it's very pedantic to dismiss a game over that. We got nine movies in here maybe the TV shows in the future, I can excuse them missing that. Who knows though maybe they'll patch it in,the developers seem very passionate about this game.
As much as I love Lego games , I would really really love a starwars game like this that spans the movies , but not Lego, like a mix of first person/3rd person action, open space flight ect. Yes yes I know , Battle Front 2!. Along those lines , but a more single player focused game.
The amount of detail and references to the lore, Fandom and culture of star wars is incredible. All the nods to memes and jokes that have gone through the years, beyond just "han shot first", but stuff like Nobot and details like voice actors from the shows appearing throughout. This game is a love letter to star wars in all ways. It's as a brand, world, Fandom, everything.
Ever since I was a child I loved the Lego star wars games. Now as a 25 year old "adult" I'm glad I never lost my inner child. Definetly gonna buy this.
The repeated delays didn't inspire confidence in me, had been burned too many times by other games. But damn it looks like they used their time well and have delivered nothing short of amazing! No online co op is sad but not a deal breaker!
These days a delay can be bad but a lack of delay can also be bad. They could have rushed this out 6 months ago in a just barely playable state. This being Star Wars probably means Disney is a bit more strict about quality unlike the people who made the decision that Cyberpunk 2077 was ready to release.
Lego Star Wars on the GameCube is what my brothers and I used through all our childhood. We got along so well, the level of replay-ability back then was amazing
I want a Lego remake of Indiana Jones, my second favorite of the lego games. It’s a very close contender to Star Wars. The nostalgia of playing these games with my brother is so heart warming and I can’t wait to do it again even though I’m going into college now and he already is in.
The LEGO Indiana Jones game (I only played the first one) was SO much fun. I’m guessing it’s a bit dated now, been a long time, but I remember it being right up there next to LEGO Star Wars and the very first LEGO Batman game.
at 6:18 is why i have a deep love for the lego games. the background jokes are hilarious. storm troopers toppling over like dominos with other sith losing their minds , trying to stop it, is gold.
With this being a huge collection of Star wars I am personally hoping for some Clone Wars and rebels content moving forward. I know how that sounds, it could and should be it's own game, but having it all in one place would be dope.
They had Lego Star Wars III, which had the entire Clone Wars thing, other than the last season. I also hope they add it too, its a huge expansion which I would pay another 10-15$ for.
Came here to say this. I feel spoiled asking for even more, but some of what occurs in Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian (all of which falls under the Disney Star Wars canon) are some of my favorite things in all of Star Wars. Giving story-dlc that includes content from these time periods and includes those characters would just be *chef’s kiss*
Haha right.. the og lego Star Wars game was my first ever proper game back in 2005 or 6, I distinctly remember begging my mum to buy it for me as I showed her it on a jb hi fi catalogue. Still have that disc game, and it still has that glorious disc smell it had 18 years ago 🤤
Second year university student and same bro. Played all the games and here I am as an adult playing the newer versions. It’s cool though, life goes on and new things come out. Look forward to the future and appreciate the past, it’ll keep you happy
The Force Awakens Lego game was one of the first Lego games I ever owned when I got my PS4. I was gifted the deluxe edition with the Finn minifig ... and that little guy is what got me building Lego as a mid-20s adult! Thanks, Lego, Traveler's Tales, and WB!
@@totallyreyalfactsfsfs LOL! That's probably one of the games I've played the least. However, it was the minifig that really caught my fancy. I'm partially blind, and never played with Lego as a kid. My older brother didn't own any either. However, after that, I got way into the satisfying tactilness of it all. I then got some Dimentions sets, then Creator 3in-ones, the Parisian restaurant modular, Ninjago, Harry Potter, helped my niece with some Friends sets ... I've just finished building the Lego Vespa and the Lego technic batmobile, my first Technic set. Fortunately, Lego puts its instruction online as PDF files, and more recently in an app, which is the only way I can build the sets, zooming in to look at things better with the vision I have. A lot of life has happened as I've built Lego these last 6+ years. It's my ultimate way to zone out, clear my mind, and destress.
I live in the US and I set my time zone to New Zealand so I could get the game early. It’s amazing. Everything I had hoped for. The menus are a bit confusing though. There’s a ton of content and it CAN be overwhelming. I e completed episode 1. I think I’m going to complete the films before I really get into any side quests.
I think there are a couple of negatives you should have mentioned really. Main thing is the vertical splitscreen doesn't go well with the open world. It very much makes you tunnel visioned, you can see better if you sprint everywhere because it makes your character smaller on the screen. So a horizontal splitscreen would've been much better for the playstyle of the game as it'd give you a wider field of view. Another thing again is splitscreen, the camera angles can get really messed up in alot of situations, the camera angles weren't set up specifically for co-op play, anyone who's played the whole game co-op will know what I mean. The first two episodes don't have a proper level structure to them that the other episodes in the same game have. And in the OG Lego games you would go to a shop to buy things, which has been replaced with a UI Menu instead which I think removes some of the flavour, having a hub was much better. I really enjoy the game but the negative things need to be mentioned so the developers can notice potential fixes.
I'm honestly most excited for the prequels because, in all honesty, they just have the most light sabers. I played The Complete Saga and the lightsaber combat was the highlight of the game, and as there are some clear upgrades I am so excited to play it.
@@Abod26 If you are interested in the game, you shouldn't need the movies, but there will most likely be a few references you won't get. Still looks awesome though.
Yes and no, the Wii version is a combination of the original two Lego Star Wars games with one or two added mechanics. I played the originals on PS2 in 2005 and 2006 when they where released with my brother. Good times.
@@ddarkman1festt Thanks, I’ve been seeing a lot of people probably slightly too young to know that Complete Saga wasn’t actually “the original” Yes it’s a small difference considering Complete Saga is essentially the first two combined but it has been kind of driving me nuts I’m not going to lie 😂.
"know before you buy" should include a few more critiques - multiplayer split screen has been downgraded. No dynamic split, the vertical split limits field of view (even just force lifting an option moved it out of your field of view immediately), there isn't a horizontal option. The zoomed in camera works for single player but even on a big screen in multiplayer your character takes up essentially 60% of the width of the FOV. My wife and I honestly couldn't play it for more than 30 minutes without a headache. We are looking to either return or just trade off playing single player. total shame.

Of course once the newer movies are released I'd love to see an additional LEGO Harry Potter game remaster. They were amazing to play though, however, I feel as though if there was immersive dialogue along with great graphics and a skill tree where you could fully customize your character's abilities would be astounding.
The various LEGO series continue to impress. They always seem to be made by people of genuine passion. The first one seemed like a flawed masterpiece, and everything since has just been a well made title brimming with the joy and passion of an enthusiastic team.
The biggest issue for me is that it isn't online coop. Like.. I wanna play this game with my friends every day, but I don't want someone to come over every day (which wouldn't even be possible anyways). I'll probably just end up playing through the story and then getting as many collectables as I care to before I stop playing. My time spent on this game would drastically increase if I could actually play through it with a friend.
I am honestly beyond surprised at the ambition of this game. This is by far the best Lego Star Wars game to date and the funny thing is, it's not even for the campaign. Well, at least not for me. Even the main campaign is seriously impressive though! They managed to fit all nine films into one package! Sure, the story levels tend to be relatively short, but some are longer than others. Even more impressive, however, is how they approached the planets! You have a galaxy full of explorable hub worlds, and they're all shockingly massive in size! Even the smaller ones are still packed with stuff to do and find! I honestly enjoy exploring these places more than the story campaigns! Comfort food, indeed! Fully explorable planets is one of the things I absolutely loved about Jedi Fallen Order, and I'm very happy to see it in a Lego Star Wars game! THE Lego Star Wars game! This was the first game I bought for Switch, and it's still giving me hours of content! I've fully explored all the planets up to Takodana, (I'm going in order of chronological appearence in the films...) which is the next one on the chopping block! Now they just need to do Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars Saga! Or even Lego Star Trek! Seriously, Lego Star Trek should absolutely be a thing!
I love that, how in this and other newer lego titles, the world is more than just Lego. The characters and interacteble objects are of course, but the world has a sense of realism and it strikes a amazing balance.
It's never gonna happen, but I sometimes imagine a Lego Mortal Kombat game. All those character traits and abilities will go so well with TT's lego games design
I put so many hours in Lego Star Wars it’s crazy. Being in the cantina and there was different rooms based on the different movies. And in those rooms had different chapters. A good memory fa sho.
As a late 30’s guy whose married (no kids) and runs my own business, this is my type of game much more so than Elden Ring. It’s mindless, easy to pick up and put down, and doesn’t require an intense grind. I simply don’t have the time for anything else. I’m so glad they still make these games.
The thing I hate is that there’s no cantina or anything to spawn into and roam around in. I loved that style. Huge L for removing it and just having it as select an episode and level. Plus they made it really complex and overwhelming.
I just wish this game had more enemies to fight around the map, I feel like after completing the game there’s not much to do other than switching between characters and enjoying the scenery. Other than that this game is perfect

The NPC allies you have do in fact a lot of fighting if you cycle between the characters WHILE you fight. I believe this is to entice you to use every character you have, rather than plowing through with one singular character.
The game should better communicate this tbh
@@garpafieldjovi4785 And you’re absolutely right. I ONLY found this out because I saw my other character doing nothing, so I swapped to him mid attack. Doing so allows to string a couple more combos before going back to the other one. It’s a very vague mechanic.
shouldn't be that way why do developers do this stuff. Another thing no online . if this had been could of got my son a xbox and played this together

Yes it’s a small difference considering Complete Saga is essentially the first two combined but it has been kind of driving me nuts I’m not going to lie 😂.
"know before you buy" should include a few more critiques - multiplayer split screen has been downgraded. No dynamic split, the vertical split limits field of view (even just force lifting an option moved it out of your field of view immediately), there isn't a horizontal option. The zoomed in camera works for single player but even on a big screen in multiplayer your character takes up essentially 60% of the width of the FOV. i thikn yoiu been fine there been very few bad lego games and i played them all start to finish only ones i did not like much was the inidana jones ones, the lego chima ones and to some degree lego marvel 2 was kinda let down to other lego games this new one may even take top spot from lego city undercover for me
I haven’t played any of t he latest Lego games but comparing the graphics and over all animations from the old to the new ones, it’s really cool of how far game development has come. Of course it could also be the fact that they switched engines
I’d love a version of this for the Hobbit/LOTR
I remember a buddy of mine lending me a copy of the original when it first came out. I was skeptical, thought it was a really dumb idea. Started playing, looked up, and three hours had just disappeared. I was a fan of the Lego games ever since. I have most, but not all, of them. I think I'm missing The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame.
As a person who’s 100% 90 percent of lego games I can say without a doubt this is one of the most triple a games they’ve done it’s fun smooth with lots of laughs and it makes me want a infinity Saga and remastered Harry Potter game with fantastic beasts
A classic gaming experience. No micro-transactions, thousands of combined characters, levels, vehicles, easter eggs and collectibles
I think there is micro transactions though.. there’s already a character pack for like $15 if you don’t buy the $69.99 version.
@@grumpycat1178 I mean the game is still complete even with these micro transactions since they only serve to add to the game instead of being something that the game should have, like other games(cough cough Battlefield 2 on release cough cough)
@@Gojira.destroyingtokyo I mean I agree, I’m not knocking the game it looks amazing. But a skin in fortnite is basically the same thing and we call that micro transactions, so just trying to keep the same energy and call it what it is you know.
The first thing you see when you start the game is a store pop-up. I'm not joking
@@LinusKarlssonMusic oh really lol…
Honestly this game nailed this one out of the park with paying homage to the mumbles the characters would make the like old game and having dialogue. Also 4k graphics, if only i can experience this version as a kid during christmas with all dat free time and being stress free.
Lego games were my childhood and I feel like they don't get as much credit as they deserve. I 'm glad you are acknowledging their validity!
I’d love to see them give this treatment to the Harry Potter series ... that would be neat! An open Harry Potter era Hogwarts would be amazing! Don't get me wrong, I'm 1000% hyped about Hogwarts Legacy, but Lego games just hold a VERY special place in my heart!
They do have it, don’t they
@@thewalkthroughchannel8434 While Lego does have HP games, and they put them into a collection of years 1-4 game and the years 5-7 game, they're nowhere near the scope of this, which is why I'd love to see Lego do what they did for Star Wars. Even though I'm not a hardcorStarWars fan (yet, I've never watch the movies aside from Force Awakens and, just yesterday, A new Hope) I love this game! I got it on sale on PS5 and I'm thrilled!
@@seamarie3111 oh, you mean one game?
I agree! HP this a version like this
@@benjaminhould627 I've just been loving this game, and actually really getting into the first three movies so far! What fun! I'll be a Potterhead first and foremost, but Star Wars is certainly worming its way in!
I love the game! I just wish they had clone wars saga as well! Hopefully they eventually make a new clone wars and rebels version as well!
I like how you are talking about how kids will love this and not mentioning how many adults love the game and series as a whole
I played the original trilogy as a kid on ps2 and the complete saga on wii when it came out, I even had wii lightsaber attachments. The thing I love about this new game though is how they don’t skip any details, even adding depth to short sequences in the movies
This game really takes me back and this review is really well done thank you very much jake I'll be buying this
@Daniel Dean huh?
@Daniel Dean what
i’m fourteen and i want this game solely for the nostalgia factor. i played through the original game and did everything in it
Already bought the Deluxe Edition a week ago for Series X, been hyped for this since I heard about it years ago and now it's here 🎮
Of course once the newer movies are released I'd love to see an additional LEGO Harry Potter game remaster. They were amazing to play though, however, I feel as though if there was immersive dialogue along with great graphics and a skill tree where you could fully customize your character's abilities would be astounding.
What about the lotr games
Just bought it to play with my dad for Father’s Day. It’s lit af. Remember playing the original Lego Starwars and Starwars games on PS2 lol.
I guess I will just wait to collect it from epic store
The various LEGO series continue to impress. They always seem to be made by people of genuine passion. The first one seemed like a flawed masterpiece, and everything since has just been a well made title brimming with the joy and passion of an enthusiastic team.
The biggest issue for me is that it isn't online coop. Like.. I wanna play this game with my friends every day, but I don't want someone to come over every day (which wouldn't even be possible anyways). I'll probably just end up playing through the story and then getting as many collectables as I care to before I stop playing. My time spent on this game would drastically increase if I could actually play through it with a friend.
u can try parsec. its basically ur streaming while ur friend can play games with u
Just letting everyone know this is going to be free on the epic games store December 5th-12th.
Who is after free in epic games??
Yes me
It's never gonna happen, but I sometimes imagine a Lego Mortal Kombat game.
Can't wait to play this. I remember spending so much time playing the original lego Star Wars on ps2.
Really wish they had online co-op. That would make this game such a fantastic experience.
How does this game not have online co-op? That's ridiculous. I have no reason to purchase it now.
@@shanebrown3320 yo what is with you people and not having online co-op big deal stop being annoying the game is truly amazing without it
@@jordansivels700 I can kinda understand not being able to play with friends being a deal breaker, Lego games are a lot better with friends and not everyone has people they can play with in person
@@jordansivels700 Because I want to play the game with my friends online?
@@shanebrown3320 , maybe it will be enabled via DLC, patches, and updates in the future? However, the bigger sin is a lack of customization for your character in the game, which also kind of hurt my view on the LEGO City Undercover games as well.
The amount of nostalgia I felt In the begining of Phantom menace the easter egg with chairs that was a refrence to the very first level LEGO star wars level. Amazing
It looks really good and I’m really happy about the new camera angle because my only gripe with the old ones were that sometimes it was difficult to see your character because everything was top down.
The game looks like it’s perfect, I was kinda annoyed because of all of the delays but I think it was worth it to get a game like this
ofc it is, just look at dying light 2 which had a two year delay and still came out choppy. i can’t wait
humor and dedication that has gone into their titles is well crafted.
I'm probably alone on this but I think other franchises should get the Lego treatment - Lego Fast & Furious, or Mission Impossible would be great and they have potential to revisit all the movies the same way they did Star Wars
I think they need to be more kid franchises or Stuff that has Lego sets already like Harry Potter
I would love to see lego
Monstervesre
Or lego mcu
I know they did avengers 2 lego game but what i want is
Infinity saga lego where you go trough all movies from iron man 1 to spiderman far from home
But they can make the games in phases thats way it wont take much space
Mission Impossible already got the Lego treatment with Lego Dimensions. I wish that game was still being supported as it was a licensing dream with all the different franchises and such you could interact with. Seriously, playing as Mr. T teaming up with the Ghostbusters as well as Marty McFly and Doc Brown among many other characters? It was awesome as long as you could track down the figure sets.
@@alucard624 I've never heard of this but it sounds awesome.
Boy I would love to play through the some of the MI heists as little Lego minis.
And I think something like F&F has added potential as a generic Racer, with Lego cars being extra customizable.
I'm really hyped for this game probably gonna pick up this weekend
'overly complicated menu system '..I'm so glad it's not just me.
I love these games, and this looks beautiful, but now, aged 50, I found the menu very fiddly, which took me out of the
immersion.
Things that I thought should be simple and straightforward left me scratching my head, wondering why would the developers do that?!
Take me back to Lego Pirates of the Caribbean 🇦🇺👍
Great presentation and overview as always 🎉Thank you.
Unless the character had a missile launcher or basically a overpowered weapon in the lego games, the secondary ai really didn’t fight at all, and if they did they did no damage hardly. I could be wrong but that’s mainly what I remember about certain Lego games
The only game I've noticed them fight a decent amount was DC Supervillains
That's true, but it was fun to at least see the AI run around and pretend they could do damage
yeah, for star wars they often attacked stuff but didnt rly do any damage or make any crazy impact
