gaslight me into a lobotomy
alter facts until my elastic snaps
put holes in my head like a kennedy.
i feel the fall coming up through the cracks
but i’m bound, gagged next to ambivalence,
please kill the lights my eyes prefer the black.
spin my ghost story in the omniscience
busted turntables track two ill-synced beats
play something danceable with dissonance.
sick memories doomed to loom on repeat,
the unavoidable anxiety
spits in my mouth, saliva on my teeth
i can’t bear to stand one more barren tree
gaslight me into a lobotomy.
