@@sweetspicy7880 u call it confidence not arrogance.. yes, she used to come across as bit intimidating to me initially, but in love with her blunt (positively) and upfront personality.. but keeping that aside, she deserves a huge shoutout for using a platform to promote indie brands when nobody else was doing it... If u don't wanna follow her product recommendations that's totally ignorable, but girl, u can't ignore the kind of sincerity she puts in when she makes skincare videos .. I myself dealing with acne prone skin lately, have been able to relate with the skin concerns she always discuss.
sweetbuddles 90 As per me , Shreya is confident , Jovita is confident and so on ... plenty of youtubers I easily connect with them but not with her . I find Shreya down to earth , hard working and always kind of her viewers . No attitude ever .
Anyways it’s my personal liking , I am sure 1 person opinion won’t matter to her . She has a lot of fame and sometimes we just don’t connect with certain people .
sweet spicy good you did. If you find 800 rupees expensive then it’s not meant for you and If you’re looking at putting cheap products on your face then her channel is not for you my angel. And it’s not arrogance it’s confidence. You don’t like her she gives a damn. She will call a spade a spade and that’s her plus point. She can’t please everyone ✌🏻
I am really surprised how shreya and other ppl like shwetha Vijay haven't hit millions yet... Some ppl put real effort and deserve more.
Never compared but can't resist saying.. Seeing channels like that glam girl with 3millions just makes me sick..her comments are mostly filled with sentences like am so jealous, yu r so lucky, ur husband is so gud..
Guys this is a two Way process... We learn many things and find many gud products and they get benefits bcoz we watch their videos. This s how youtube platform shud grow..

I couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately buying likes views have become more important than class content like shreya Shweta shalini . And the audience are being fooled by stupid pr driven faltu nykaa oils and diys
That's really annoying.. those fake people gets likes in million over their poor content... N the one with genuine content are not that much appreciated..
Shweta vijay seriously deserves all the milestones as a youtuber, her recommendations are always so good.
Thank God RUclipsrs like Shreya and Shweta talks about brands that actually work like YBP, juicy Chemistry, Pure by Priyanka and Suganda etc; unlike the rest bandwagon who comes up with the monthly favourites of good-for-nothing Neutrogena facewash, Mcaffeine polish, Mamaearth mask & blah blah. Those might work to an extent HOWEVER nothing can compete with these brands. Girls for once try them out then you all will never ever stop going back. Test once.
actually I use mamaearth serum it's a good one.
When shreya and Shweta Vijay and Jovita keep doing good work promoting good brands and helping yet they don’t rise up number wise it makes me question the integrity of social media stars who gulp up money and are fake! Fake sells sadly . So sad

ShwetavijayNair literally saved my skin and it got me out of getting even more depressed. She explained about what micellar water can do to your skin. I stopped using it and it saved my skin!!! God bless Shweta! and Shreya’s suggestions on dry and dehydrated skin products always help me in winters. Much love to you Shreya. 💙
Aroma magic by Blossom Kocchar is another Indian Brand which deserves to be in this list, I swear by their skin care products for past many years

Yes! Their vitamin c gel is amazing. I don’t know what works or how because it is chock full of stupid essential oils but the glow is undeniable.

I was used to buy Korean skincare and no doubt they are good but we should buy Indian brands also which comes way cheaper and equally effective explicitly created for Indian brown skin keeping in mind.

I'm so happy to see you give shoutouts to Shweta Vijay as well. You should also try Soapworks - an indie brand selling sustainable green goods. Some other brands that you should know about are Qurez, Mel Aura, Myoho, Vilvah, Sapphire Botanicals along with Suganda. They're on the natural side but killing it. Love this!

Suganda BHA and Niacinamide serums have become my Holy Grails.
I'm never going back to other products.
They have helped reduce my active acne. Can't comment on my acne scars, because they generally take a while to fade. But it gives my skin such a beautiful glow

Mam can we use swiss beauty products are they safe becuase you said in one videos that we should not use those ultra affordable products like menow and all that which are local
also, “natural” as a term is so ambiguous, people hate “chemicals” on their skin without understanding that everything is chemical. water - h2o, is a chemical and you consume it. all citrus fruits have citric acid. so don’t go for products that are fast manufactured, try for vegan, cruelty, sulfate and paraben free makeup. to understand the context behind this comment - watch bella thorne’s skin care routine (it’s going to be a pain) and then see kenna whitnell’s and susan yara’s reaction to it.
Exactly what i try to explain ppl around me but difficult for ppl to get it who have no experience of understanding chemistry🤷
I don’t listen to Yara because she is just not qualified enough for her opinion to count but I love Dr Dray. Once I switched to medicated products my skin changed for the better. No flower oils or lemon for me.👏🏼
Paraben is not bad either. It protects products from going bad. The alternative preservative can be more harmful. Paraben free is just marketing gimmick

I really surprised how there wasn't any mention of how heavily perfumed Plum products are. I have three of their products specifically made for acne prone skin and the amount of fragrance in them is so off putting. I just don't understand why they would add so much of fragrance considering how easily irritated skin can become because of this and it is even more unsettling when you know that acne prone skin is sensitive more often than not. I have not come across many influencers who have spoken on this issue but I just feel like this fact needs to be known by consumers when they shop for vegan, cruelty free products for their acne prone skin. If anyone plans of investing in Plum, please be mindful of this as fragrance can cause irritation and breakouts.

Recently I ventured into the technical chemical exfoliant world and I could not be more proud as I chose all the Indian brands over international even though some of them were more on the expensive side than the international ones as well.
Shreya Jain, Shweta Vijay and Jovita George are seriously the best and most honest RUclips reviewers. Love them. Their content is consistently good over several years. Really appreciate it when they don't sell themselves to brands but truly talk about what they actually like and don't like along with proper analysis. Even brands learn so much and reformulate because of their honest opinions. That's quality you guys. Must follow them. Lately I am also looking at Deepti Desikaran and Aparna Ganesh videos as well for honesty. Way to go and more power.

Really needed this kind of video as most people are investing money on foreign brand only thinking about that indian brand is not worth . Nice video to aware people about . There are 4 brand korw I know and love which is also amazing. Those are zofla , vilvah, deyga , ecoberry .

If u have sensitive skin and looking for paraben and sls free within budget, aroma magic products are great (their vitamin c gel , day cream and oil control toner really work for oily acne prone skin while giving enough hydration) But dont expect them to have miraculous repairing ability. Plus their sunscreens are not upto the mark. The brand has good potential if they work on their spf and formulation of certain other products.

The saffron toner has isopropyl alcohol listed as its second ingredient after water. It is not a good kind of alcohol and is extremely damaging to the skin barrier. People shouldn’t jump on bandwagons just because influencers ask them to.

I can't use plum anymore because its so fragrant. I don't like fragrance in skincare. I get tiny bumps whenever I use plum products. I only love the green tea face mask.

When she says lemon is bad for ure skin(directly) I smash the like button ^_^lemon have some highly irritating components... So please guys do not use lemon juice directly on u're face (diy) this is very dangerous even if u use to phir kisi brand ka lo por at least wo upor k 3 se 4 ingredient me nhi hona chahiye wash off treatment ho to bht hi accha h nhi to night me hi lagana chahiye and do not forget ure sunscreen please ...=_=

Hi Shreya, I agree that Indian brands are really doing good. All brands u mentioned got some kind of certification but I have not seen any kind of certification mentioned on Suganda and purebypriyanka sites.

I really want to try their products but since they are not available in india(i really want them on nykaa plss req them to bring it on nykaa!!!) And instagram pages are not trustable..please suggest us an authentic and reliable page to get those!

Jeva under eye cream is a blessing...never expected much but was taken by surprise at the outcome
I tried many products from Kama Ayurveda, but found them useless. I feel Kama Ayurveda is overhyped. It just doesn’t suit me at all. I used some other Indian brands as well, but the formulation is not consistent. Not sure how they get license to sell their products, may be by giving bribe. Lost all my trust in ‘Indian’ skincare brands unfortunately. Sad to say that, but not going back to them after being on Accutane for two years bcs of these shady brands! I feel Indian brads have a long way to go when it comes to skincare. I now use the Body Shop, Kiehl’s, Clinique, Innisfree, and two Korean products from Slurp Laboratory!
Glamaroma and vaunt are also really nice and organic..I personally love glamaroma products

My skincare is filled with juicy chemistry... Can't go back to neutrogena or biotique life back.. ( not that they're bad) but i just love and trust jc & ybp abit more. Juicy chemistry products are so bomb they're so eco friendly as well. I love every thing abt that brand. Thankyou for this video
