Pretty gracious dude, Bruce. Hasn't forgotten his roots. I think they don't sign guitars simply because people will turn around and sell them for alot more than they're worth. Once had the opportunity to ask Stephen Stills to sign my Martin. I didn't even bother...for fear of his response.
I agree...see my comment from 24 years ago. Looking at this again( thanks algorithms!!) track the guy with the guitar..he hands it to someone ( after Bruce has signed something for him but said no to the guitar) but reappears with another scrap of paper and follows Springsteen until he gets another signature!!

I'm curious, per your logic, why would Bruce, who has made a billion dollars singing about the plight of the blue collar working man, mind if the blue collar working man "made a mint" from selling a guitar that he signed ?

I must hve been at the height of my pit attending days, 13 years ago..and was just fed up of people thrusting things in his face to sign...not even engaging with him. And he is a very engaging man...although over the years I 've noticed the Bruce haters grow in number , the more he has achieved the so called American Dream. Where s the logic in that!
