I have known her all my life. Sister Rodgers and I were born in the same town Gladewater Texas. I will keep her sermons in my head which is the promises of God. Well done my sister in Christ, Sister Joyce Rodgers.
Oh my God what a powerful Brithday Message sent straight from God and my Mama. Praise God for Pastor Roger. She performed open heart surgery on me this morning. I will forever treasure this sermon/gift. Amen
Great word!!!! For my sister, the reference is Psalm 47 not 147. Starting at verse one through verse six (KJV) It reads: "Clap your hands...shout unto God...sing praises to God" Ijs
if we spent time praying one for another and not critiqueing our brothers and sisters some time when younard speaking gods word you make a mistake one thing for sure you will stay humble i am a woman of god and i love to spend time studying gods word hou never graduate from the bible from the womb to the tumb how can we teach the younger women if we are not bilically correct stay and the spirit submit to god resist the devil and he shall flee watch as well as pray and do the work of the lord
First and Foremost, This is not a concert She mentions Psalm 147:1 and how you clap your hands to Praise the "Lord"....it does not say that....nor shout as she said it does.. Psalm 147:1 Praise ye the "Lord": for it is good to sing praises unto our "God"; for it is pleasant; and praise it comely. She says its ok to sing and make music, BUT to sing praises means to express approval or admiration; to offer grateful homage to "God" as in words. Amos 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. Titles 'God' and 'Lord' were also given to pagan idols and systematically, it became regarded as NAMES for the idols. Lord = Baal Baal |ˈbā(ə)l|(also Bel |bel|) a fertility god whose cult was widespread in ancient Phoenician and Canaanite lands. ORIGIN from Hebrew ba῾al ‘lord.’ 1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. If I am wrong? Do you believe you man or woman rather than The Most High? Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. Is thing not going against God(Yahuah)? She is also advertising her book.....yeah.
1 Corinthians 14King James Version (KJV) 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? 37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) 33 for God is a God not of disorder but of peace. (As in all the churches of the saints, 34 women should be silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as the law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.[d] 36 Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only ones it has reached?) 37 Anyone who claims to be a prophet, or to have spiritual powers, must acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord. 38 Anyone who does not recognize this is not to be recognized. 39 So, my friends,[e] be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues; 40 but all things should be done decently and in order. You have become her daughters as long as you do what is good and never let fears alarm you.7 Husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honor to the woman as the weaker sex,[a] since they too are also heirs of the gracious gift of life-so that nothing may hinder your prayers. +Yasen Dobrev Thomas said my Lord and my God, there are two get a dictionary two not one, Jesus is our Lord, the spirit of God was with him Jesus tells us that over and over can you comprehend? so Thomas was right to say my Lord and my God, if you look in the old testament all the prophets are called Lord, lets say if you were by Daniel the prophet when he prophesied, at that moment you could say my Lord and my God, you see the difference is that the Spirit of God was with Jesus the whole time. Now when Jesus says the Father and I are one. He means they're on the same side the good side like a team cause if you read all that Jesus says he also says you and I can also become one with God and Jesus but it doesn't make you and I God try to understand. Luke 3:2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3:4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John 11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; John 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. 11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth.19 And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah.20 And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.21 And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.22 Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.23 And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.24 And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Weed 48 minutes ago +Weed Faith without Works Is DeadJames 2New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters,[e] if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? 17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe-and shudder. 20 Do you want to be shown, you senseless person, that faith apart from works is barren? 21 Was not our ancestor Abraham justified by works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was brought to completion by the works. 23 Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God. 24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she welcomed the messengers and sent them out by another road? 26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead Show less Reply ·

First and Foremost, This is not a concert
She mentions Psalm 147:1 and how you clap your hands to Praise the "Lord"....it does not say that....nor shout as she said it does..
Psalm 147:1
Praise ye the "Lord": for it is good to sing praises unto our "God"; for it is pleasant; and praise it comely.
She says its ok to sing and make music, BUT to sing praises means to express approval or admiration; to offer grateful homage to "God" as in words.
Amos 5:23
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Titles 'God' and 'Lord' were also given to pagan idols and systematically, it became regarded as NAMES for the idols.
Lord = Baal
Baal |ˈbā(ə)l|(also Bel |bel|)
a fertility god whose cult was widespread in ancient Phoenician and Canaanite lands.
ORIGIN from Hebrew ba῾al ‘lord.’
1 Corinthians 14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
If I am wrong? Do you believe you man or woman rather than The Most High?
Acts 5:29
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

1 Corinthians 14King James Version (KJV)
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
1 Corinthians 14New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
33 for God is a God not of disorder but of peace.
Or are you the only ones it has reached?)
37 Anyone who claims to be a prophet, or to have spiritual powers, must acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord. 38 Anyone who does not recognize this is not to be recognized. 39 So, my friends,[e] be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues; 40 but all things should be done decently and in order.

1 Timothy 2New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)9 also that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing, not with their hair braided, or with gold, pearls, or expensive clothes, 10 but with good works, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God. 11 Let a woman[b] learn in silence with full submission. 12 I permit no woman[c] to teach or to have authority over a man;[d] she is to keep silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and holiness, with modesty.
1 Timothy 2King James Version (KJV)9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

+Weed 1 Peter 3King James Version (KJV)3 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
1 Peter 3New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)Wives and Husbands3 Wives, in the same way, accept the authority of your husbands, so that, even if some of them do not obey the word, they may be won over without a word by their wives’ conduct, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing; 4 rather, let your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight. 5 It was in this way long ago that the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves by accepting the authority of their husbands. 6 Thus Sarah obeyed Abraham and called him lord.

+Weed Titus 2King James Version (KJV)2 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Son of God in the bible means Prophet or Messenger. God creates. Man reproduces. Son of God is different from son of man
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Psalm 82
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
(If you look up Christ in the back of the bible it gives the definition Christ, Son of God, Messiah. Also Christ is a translation of Messiah, in Hebrew and in the language of Jesus Aramaic it's only Messiah and also in the Old Testament it's Messiah.)

Asians, Russians, and everyone else that speaks a language other than English pronounce God in there own language as Jesus spoke Aramaic research how Jesus said God which they didn't allow on Mel Gibson's The Passion they substituted Hebrew for Aramaic when Jesus said God.)

+Weed To be correct, the Quran doesn't say anything. Muhammad said that Jesus is just a prophet. But Jesus said He is the Son of the only true Creator. That is a huge difference.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.'' (John 20:28-29). When Thomas says ''my God'', he refers to Jesus because it is said:''and said unto him''. And Jesus confirms His divinity:''thou hast believed''. He does not deny what Thomas says.

+Yasen Dobrev Nobody contested Jesus has a divine origin, just that you mix the Son with the Father and Jesus said:
MY FATHER is greater than all
WeedYesterday 7:58 AM
+Yasen Dobrev Thomas said my Lord and my God, there are two get a dictionary two not one, Jesus is our Lord, the spirit of God was with him Jesus tells us that over and over can you comprehend? so Thomas was right to say my Lord and my God, if you look in the old testament all the prophets are called Lord, lets say if you were by Daniel the prophet when he prophesied, at that moment you could say my Lord and my God, you see the difference is that the Spirit of God was with Jesus the whole time. Now when Jesus says the Father and I are one. Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Matthew 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
John 11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
John 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Psalms 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. 118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death. 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Matthew 27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
Matthew 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

+Weed 1 Samuel 19King James Version (KJV)18 So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?

+Weed Matthew 6New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)5 “And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 6 But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.[b]7 “When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

+Weed Faith without Works Is DeadJames 2New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters,[e] if you say you have faith but do not have works? 26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead

And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.
[And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].
