I stand in Awe, Cecil and Heather in the way you mange to work at that height and persist in continuing on to the next step each time. I am wondering how you will attach the "rafters" under the extended horizontal two by sixes and you might quickly reply "O, that is just easy, no problem" and I hope for you that it is, And i will believe it when I see it, finished! And I know you will only do it in a save way, but I just celebrated my 84 birthday and you would catch me at most three steps up the ladder! Be safe, and take care of each other so you may enjoy the building when it is finished, all in due time!
Here's a postcard. Dad used to have me cut the rafter tails. I would run a string or a chalkline from one end to the other, and then plumb down from the line every one, with a pencil line. My favorite was a circular saw. I don.t know if we even had a sawzall at the time. Then we switched to cutting from a pattern, and shimming the fascia if one was too short. Today I use a Ryobi 18 volt ten inch chain saw. With the silicone/graphite spray to lube the chain and bar. I really like chain saws.
Cecil can give you a thought for your projects , this is what I do pickup extra rulers and pencils take them to the work area gently trough them in the air and where they land is where I would find them .Never can find them when I need one lol
Cecil , I think that you schould make stronger top of left front post . It's only one 2X6 in the corner . I think you need two more 2X6 . Stay safe both of You
Wow Cecil and Heather your braver than me im scared of heights but your both good was scared for Heather up and down like that good job you guy's really !!!
Yeah we have it the same out here in Pennsylvanian if it ain't raining we are bacon but anyways it's looking good on your pole barn at least you're done with the roof almost thank you for the video
Great crab walk down the roof Heather. Take it easy Cecil. You seem to be working pretty hard up there on a hot day. I enjoy your projects. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Bob, Thank you...it's tough to move around on a steep slippery roof lol, we are getting it done though. Thanks again..we are glad you are enjoying what we're doing here. You are very welcome..thank you. You have a great day. Cheers!
Hi. Good to see the roofing almost done. Inside is almost dry now too. No wonder Heather stays so slim. On the ground feeding steel to Cecil, up to the roof to help fixing, down to the ground and start the cycle over again. Excelent progress though. As the sun is so hot up there is it the place for more solar panels? Do you still have time for your bike rides? Mike
Good morning my friend. It sure will be..I can't wait to be able to set up our wood burning stove and have heat in the winter as well. Thanks again. You have a great day. Cheers!
Great now I only have to figure out which of my speakers is the yellow one! Going to turn that one off so I just hear Heather! :) SLAP bad Steve, Bad Steve.......... :) JK
Good morning Dean. Yes you got that right, it's raining here again today...but no big deal. Maybe we'll work inside the building today. Thanks, we wish you a great day as well. Cheers!
OK I got 5.1 surround no problem with sound, if of course you know how to configure it properly you know what I mean. Heather on left and you on right as clear as day. I will be able to sleep to night now I got that off my Woofer.
You guys be careful up there and heather you’re so awesome in spandex please keep it up - bikini would even be better 😍you’re the prettiest in the world
Cecil, when you put the camera to far away from where you are working all I see is two dark blobs with voices. I like to be up close so zi can see what you are doing. If not, sorry, but my interest wanes.

Cecil you on one mic breathing hard and Heather on the other speaker struggling sounded like a couple dogs in heat! 😂😂😂 Sorry it's just funny.
I used a pair of c clamps and a rope and got up on the roof and pulled it up was faster
The velcro strap is ok, but I would have had my cords together with a underwriters not a lot faster
Hello James, thank you very much..I will keep that in mind. You have a great day. Cheers!
