Your Where U At choreography for Taeyang is still one of my favorites to date. You and Shaun performing it live with him was so explosive, it left a really deep impression on me and made me a fan til this day. When Shaun brought Movement Lifestyle to collaborate with YG, that really marked the start of an era for kpop. Thank you all for your contribution and making kpop that much more enjoyable for me.
kpop choreographies can have multiple choreographers working on them section by section. unless they're friends with them they sometimes never know who choreo'd what sections. I've seen comment sections like "oh it was you cool". HHahaha! but luckily they can all get credited
The fact that I didn't know about the choreographers behind these incredible dances til now shocks me. But its making me interested in learning about more the behind the scenes process of the dances ngl.
I went through the same thing lol!! There’s a whole dancing world out there and seeing where it intersects with kpop/south korea in general is honestly kind of fascinating. With kpop in particular, fans only see the idols. We never see all the behind the scenes that help create the music, the performances, the stories that the idols are telling on stage. The choreography is just one aspect of it but it’s gives a new perspective to learn how it all works and comes together to become the final product (aka da comeback lol)
Hey M, I feel you. What I realized is sometimes they don't actually advertise who the choreographer is so it definitely didn't occur to me to check. And when I do, sometimes I find the answer in some obscure forum thread. So whenever I see artists credit the choreographer I'm like: THANK YOU! And mad respect to those who go out of their way to list it so clearly in the description section.
@@CeCe1066 this is what irritating us in the dance community. People don't know that a lot of the kpop crews use us for their choreo. A lot of their style is from the urban dance community especially in here in California. Not enough people know where all the true hard work is coming from... it's so sad that our idols have been behind the scenes to a lot of memorable material but nearly everyone who doesn't know the true dance scene and dance community have no idea. It's none of the kpop's fans fault, I've always felt that no one gave credit to the true artists behind the scenes. These dancers have been very famous in the dancing world for 10 plus years. Please do more research of the dance community. VIBE, HHI, WORLD OF DANCE (NOT THE TV SHOW), ETC..
@lmao a lot of those ppl in world of dance are top class so yeah they go and work with big artists including K-pop artists. many of those in kinjaz do a lot of choreography work for both american and k-pop singers
@@Mike-wh4ed There's this dance studio in Korea that's extremely trendy and popular popular w/ young kpop fans called 1million. They have many videos which have gone up to as high as 10-40mill views. One time they had a guest workshop with Lyle Beniga and do you know many views it got? 300k. To add on to that the comments were mostly spam about wanting them to choreograph to other songs. It pissed me off so much. This guy is debatably the best choreographer of all time but because of these young kpop fans whose only interest is all things BTS, korea and only korean choreographers, they gloss over on these folks who have been world-renowned urban dance legends for the longest time whose both work and skills remain unmatched with nobody else. That's what happens when too much time passes by I guess.
I know Jackson has mad respect for you coz even from the Hot Blood Dance Crew, you were there for him and up until Pretty Please. You are legendary, especially in Kpop. More powerful moves to come.

Choreography was the reason I got I to kpop and specifically one group (and no it's not the obvious one). I was on a wild goose chase trying to find the choreographer and it's never really posted but I knew the moves, the flavor, the essence was coming from LA. It HAD to be!... Kinjaz was the breath of life behind a lot it. Much love and respect for all your hard work!
Vinh, Fire's choreo is amazing! That song needed that kind of all guns blazing rookie messy energy, because I feel like it was a lot like what they were like at that time (trying to break through and break all odds by sheer willpower). :)

Like, 15 years ago, I was a hip hop dancer, started to love Kaba Modern and watching ABDC... Then I followed Kinjas over the years, and in the middle of all this I became a kpop fan like 12 years ago... This is just the best of both worlds!!!! You guys are amazing, keep the beautiful work!

When I competed in WOD and HHI as one of my country’s representatives, I always had to visit the Kinjaz booth first before anything else to buy their merch and meet them because they’re one of my absolute faves ever in the dance community. I’ve been a fan of Kpop for over a decade and I’ve danced ever since I could walk and seeing these two worlds come together so beautifully in the eyes of The Kinjaz just makes my heart so full and my goals even more alive. As a dancer what I love doing is actually watching kpop choreography and guessing which choreographer worked with them. Many are so clear and some are harder to guess haha. No Manners was an immediately kinjaz guess for me.

What's amazing to me is that I became a fan of the Kinjaz and kpop separately. And then seeing all these interactions is just 💞 and then knowing that y'all have worked with most of my fave kpop groups is just ‼️‼️ I'm like "no wonder that choreo was bomb!!" Keep doing what you do. KINJABANG!! 🐯
As a dancer what I love doing is actually watching kpop choreography and guessing which choreographer worked with them. Many are so clear and some are harder to guess haha. No Manners was an immediately kinjaz guess for me.
