Just gonna leave some tips here in case you feel like a refresher before the tourney, but Willy probably has you covered. -If you hold ZL (Left Trigger/Left Back Button) you can hold an item like a Banana, or Shell behind you to protect yourself from other shells. -Try to start your drift right before a turn, not at it. -Pressing up on the d-pad before a bump or a ramp makes you do a trick, which WIlly calls supers. -Try boosting right AFTER the 2 shows up. -Try to get coins for extra speed.
