A year ago, I looked at one of the early brochures for the Enyaq, which described all the assistance features. For many of them, it said "Available later*." Among these features was, for example, the lane-change assistant (which they have already introduced) or remote parking, which might only come in some newer versions. And the note for this asterisk essentially stated that customers are only entitled to the features available at the time of purchasing a new car. In other words, following this logic, Škoda could promise features like "the car will drive itself," "fly," etc., but then never actually have to deliver them.
I use the smart trained parking at home when i park in our carport 95% of the time, and it works fine. It is nice because we have to reverse in an s-shape in to the carport to the charger.
Only thing I use sometimes is Park Assist but I do it myself for 95% of thé time. Remote parking is something I don’t need, and it will also not come for older Enyaqs. The only ‘Remote’ I need is the one for battery preheating. 😂
Considering it is promised for Elroq, and this comes with 5.4, I assume Enyaq's will need 5.4 update whenever it comes, and the MySkoda update.. but who knows.
I love your videos. I took delivery of my Enyaq (Sportsline) beginning of November (it was ordered in May!) Your videos have helped me a great deal to understand it prior to taking delivery. One question I have......My battery power went from 80% to 17% and I completed a total distance of 141 miles. What is your opinion -is that right. Yes it was in the dark and raining most of the time during the journey and cruising at 60mph
Well it is hard to say whether this is a good or bad value as a lot of possible things influence the consumption (like weather, temperature, AC/Heating settings, preconditioning of the battery...). I would say it's not that bad for the colder season of the year (assuming you are living in a region where winter is at least trying to come) and that there was rain.
Same here in Denmark. You need the maxx package. I didnt Know before I picked up my car. So I was disappointed that the parking features was not there. They are on my 5 year old BMW i3.
@Matthias, have you also been able through my Skoda app to switch on the car lights or make it honk when looking for it in a parking lot? It seems other Skodas can but I was not successful with my MY2025 Enyaq. If anyone knows, thanks for letting me know 😅
He had parking assistant in past cars. I never used it as I could do better myself. As the parking assist was an option I choose not to have it my first generation Enyaq.

That's a good point and a sad one as well. A lot of promises were given by Skoda that way so they never needed to fulfill them

Therefore it seems to be a great thing I guess.
Advertised years ago but Remote parking is still a mirage. I see it useful when getting a baby seat in an out when you park at narrow parking slots.
Only thing I use sometimes is Park Assist but I do it myself for 95% of thé time.

There was remote parking videos when i order enyaq first time in 2022. Those videos disappeared later. 🙄
Will the smart parking be available on the 85 Edition with no packages? I use it with my VW and love it.

@@electrifiedspeicher thankyou. That has put my mind at rest. I shall continue to enjoy my car and your videos!
I have a feeling they will enable Remote Parking once Elroq is out on the market.
I'm pretty sure my 85 doesn't have it as 8 don't have 360 camera.
Think the parking assist was only sold as part of the Maxx package in UK
That might be. I was impossible to get all data on all markets in which package the features are
@electrifiedspeicher yeah I think in the UK they like to charge us more for stuff when they can :)

I guess that's a IV85 since the speed of the media system is 10000 times faster than mine on my IV80 😭😭

As far as I know this is not available for the ENYAQ as of now. I know that Skoda once said it will come but I do not find the source anymore
Thanks for your reply

In karoq 2023 the parking assist sucks, takes forever to park with it and mostly wrong. i took the option just so i get 360 camera
