- “There Will Never Be Another You”, recorded by legendary artists Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, etc, is a Jazz standard that I love to play on harmonica. Soloing on it in 7/4 in 7 keys is challenging, but it made me come up with more creative and expressive ideas.

About “Seven Things in 7”: Odd time meters can be tricky to play in at first, but once you get familiar with them, that will change- each one has its own symmetry and swing. For me, 7/4 and 7/8 are two of the most comfortable odd time meters to play in. So I came up with this playlist showcasing different styles of music, all in 7/4 or 7/8. I hope you enjoy them and maybe give it a try yourself.

the amount of work and practice behind what we're seeing here is impossible to grasp.. appreciate the mastery and how you play the diatonic like a piano
I would guess this was done with Golden Melody. Bravo
Very good. very good, very good....
Ridiculously good!!!
Still learning the harmonica my self but enjoy listening to you play Howard
Wow...dunno whether to be inspired or terrified...absolutely amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
We’re doing this one in class, great timing
Masterful, as always. 👍
This video popped up as I’m sitting down ready for my nightly harmonica practice session. Watching you play is both profoundly humbling and deeply inspirational.
Thank you Howard you are a great inspiration for me

Wow.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is what it would be like to peer into Henri Rousseau's dreams.
(because of the plants, and the stare)
Wow, I didn't catch it at first, but realize you just went chromatically up through the keys! That is without cherry-picking convenient modes - It seems an impossible feat. The best part is - it sounded amazing.
Hi Howard: Great stuff as usual. Must be great to be able to tool around with just one harmonica in your pocket for any occasion! Didn't notice it was in 7 right away, sounded so natural. Thanks! Sam
Aw Howard that was awesome! My dream is to be able to play every key on one harmonica and for it to sound good in them all. Maybe i'm crazy but it's a challenge. When i see this it inspires me to keep on at it. Much of this was inspired by your Out of The Box dvd Howard all on a C harp. When are you releasing volume 2?
Thank you, Gary. I never put out Vol. 2, because I cover all that material at my harmonica school, my.artistworks.com/howard-levy
@@HowardLevyland Nope, way too expensive for what it is.
👍 👌 ♥ 🎶
that's a bit good I'd say!
Unbelievable🤣🤣🤣
Does Howard create harmonica by himself and for himself? There must be more than 10 holes there. 😂
