No matter how this is painted, it doesn't changed the fact that same sex is a grave evil from the pit of hell, a sin that is angering the Divine and nature itself.
Christ came for repentance, not to bless sin, as it was said in Mathew 4:17 "From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Jesus said , “He is the way and the truth and the life in John 14:6, and His teachings are very clearly stated and easy to read, they're not contradictory, so let's follow His teachings in the Church, and not Pope Francis and Cardinal Fernandez's opinions. The gravity of sin, especially sodomy, is not being taught from the leadership in the church. They are negligent in care for our souls. We cannot give the impression that anything like that is ok. Souls perish after this life because no one warns them, and people don't understand the gravity of sin.

    • @matthewbroderick6287

@Romans1.24-27 bearing false witness is also a grave sin before God! Pope Francis teaches, as does the document, that marriage is for man and woman alone, to be open to both love and life and that no other sexual union outside of this, gay OR STRAIGHT, is ordained by God or can be blessed by God! We are simply not to judge the hearts of others as Jesus Christ teaches! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink

We cannot give the impression that anything like that is ok. Souls perish after this life because no one warns them, and people don't understand the gravity of sin.The document is so well written as to deceive even priests into thinking "there's nothing really wrong with it". I am amazed and a bit disappointed about the number of good priests falling into the trap. The document says directly, "Within the horizon outlined here appears the possibility of blessings for couples in irregular situations and for couples of the same sex.." What do you think "couples of the same sex" means?
What is a couple? A couple is a pairing of one man and one woman. Two persons OF THE SAME SEX cannot be a couple, so just on this point alone the document is shown to be a lie. It uses woke language (in another place it mentions 'inclusion' as some sort of virtue that God sends down a blessing for). It's a sick, sick joke. It is pure evil, straight from the mouth of the devil.

Did Job, not suffer? Did it not make him love our LORD more? I, as laity, may voice concers to the structure of heiarchy available to me, but i best be prepared properly. More then worry about the Pope, i worry about the amount of Catholics so willing to run to social media and express nothing but immature emotions and seeds of disunion, despair, and infighting. We should be praying for the Pope, chastising those who attack him(honor thy mother and father), he is family, and study our Chatechism more, our scripture more, rosaries, fight abortion, and more time making our parish stronger. People need to remember, as of right now this is NOT the Russian revolution or even the French Revolution. The Pope is NOT American, where you vote him in or out. • @paulmualdeave5063
    @paulmualdeave5063 5 месяцев назад +3

Totally agree with everything said when they talk about Sedevacantism. Pope Francis’s critics need to know this, but they also need to practice CCC 2478. Not practicing this teaching leads to calling Pope Francis a heretic, which he is not. One correction though. The pope can never teach heresy. This is an anathema in Canon 21 of Constantinople IV. The Acts explain this Canon and talk about the two Patriarchs mentioned in Canon 21, who were both excommunicated for saying the pope taught heresy.
None of these events were are going through are new. The only thing new is social media being a breeding ground for slandering Pope Francis as a heretic, constantly criticizing him for everything and not giving him any credit when he does something people would agree with. All because he is a liberal, which actually is a sign of the Holy Spirit working in him protecting the pope to “remain undefiled until the end”. Part of infallibility is the pope never teaching heresy. Otherwise, we would never be able to totally trust his actual infallible statements. These errors are what is leading to the rise in Sedevacantism. The cure is submitting to the pope. Want to fight for Jesus? Follow Luke 10:16 because it applies to Pope Francis. You cannot be in rebellion and not listen to Pope Francis and say you are defending Jesus’s traditions. This is Bishop Strickland’s error and exactly why he was fired. He, Archbishop Vigano and Cardinal Burke are lucky to not be excommunicated.

Nothing I have read from both sides has at all indicated that our Holy Father Pope Francis , has been doing anything other than living and teaching the beautiful truth of the Bride of Christ and fully consistently with the established truth of our Catholic faith.
He changed the authority structure to help people in FORMALLY sinful second marriages. He did not diminish the bonds of true matrimony at all. He acted in pastoral law according to our traditions.
And in PERFECTING the teaching on the state killing safely secured criminals fallibly judged to be guilty, by pointing out that circumstances largely no longer obtain for brutal executions based upon legitimate fears for the human community, he is bringing the church's teaching to its fruition, perfecting, not denying it.
God bless you Pope Francis and may we all better hear and follow the voice of the Holy Spirit.

When a bishop in white denies the divinity of Christ. Even if he could be put on trial there would be no way he could claim he did not know the Church teaches that Christ is Devine. He publicly manifests that he is not Catholic, and not being Catholic, he can be judged by any Catholic. The dogma of Pope Paul IV, and the teachings of St. Robert Bellarmine do not deny the teaching of St. Thomas but clarify it under certain circumstances and conditions. Vatican I makes it "proximate to heresy" to believe a validly elected pope would become a public manifest heretic. When Catholics defend Francis as being validly elected, they are not making or clarifying a point of Catholic doctrine, for even if he is a validly elected pope. There are prophecies about a non-validly elected pope or an anti-pope making the schism in the Church into a formal schism, which is not contrary to Catholic doctrine.
It is the duty of the cardinals to present a dubia to all popes who express heresy publicly even a heresy held on a personal level. If they are material heretics they will recant and defend the faith. If they are not, they will publicly manifest they are not Catholic and all Catholics can judge them.

Good father thinks that Christ did not provide his Church with mechanism of dealing with a wayward papacy. I think he is a bit legalistic (Francis would say ‘rigid’) in his understanding of the ‘two principles’:
One, while it is true that there is no secular or ecclesiastical authority over the pope, that does not mean that pope can do whatever he wants or go against the interests of the Church while all the Church can do is only to wait for an act of God to correct him. God can and will act through people, members of Church, most of the time, and using their understanding and actions in preventing nefarious designs of wayward pope is not an exception.
Second, while it is true that the Church does not have an official mechanism to judge sitting pope (for example of heresy), that does not prevent a bishop, priest or layman to have a PRIVATE opinion as to whether papal teachings or acts are heretical, and voice or even act on this opinion if necessary.
Sedevacantism is a valid catholic response (Not saying that the only one, or the best one) to papacy which went berserk, and good father is not giving strong arguments against it!

"Be aware of rigidity, it is a perversion. Behind the rigidity there is no Holy Spirit" - pope Francis
"Behind those who accuse the Church of Christ of being rigid there is only the perversion of the false prophets who attempt against the Truth of Christ himself." - Pope Pius XII...
I think I will take the warning of Pope Pius XII every time

Acts 1:20-25. The Pope has the authority to bind and loose. He himself, and his authority, is not bound or limited by any form of tradition or model.
You are spearheading the apostasy predicted by Our Lady, as found all over Fr. Gobbi's blue book.
I met Jessie in person and he told me, The truth will set you free. Obedience demands that we carry some crosses and to shrug them off would be to violate the rule and the call of every Christian: to suffer righteously for the redemption of the world. Tyler Texas is the capital of the Trad world and this was under Strickland's authority to bring to heel. He did nothing, if not promote this movement that is headed to schism.
The Truth sets us free, but the best of us will not run from the cross and will follow the Bride of Christ to her moment of triumph, which you all seem to be running away from.

According to Vatican I, Vatican II and the pre-Vatican I church documents, if you're a Roman Catholic you MUST accept the pope's teachings (including ordinary jurisdiction) with docility. You have no choice. If it isn't ex-cathedra you can have PRIVATE doubts but they must remain private. The pope can do what he likes with the liturgy, that's the problem with papal 'supremacy' and infallibility (neither of which were accepted in the first thousand years of the Church). That's why the answer is the Orthodox Church.

Papal infallibility has nothing to do with this, and has only been used 5 times, in Church history. The Orthodox Church is in constant schism and much is a national church taking direct command from human politicians. Not good.

Regarding the lose of papal authority of the pope, the following analogy is apropos:
If a Captain of a ship said & intended to blow up
the ship, that intent would ruin or nullify the authority of
the Captain because his primary duty is the safety of that ship
& the wellbeing of its passengers. All authority has an essential order
for the good of a community so that if you intend an essential evil
you lose your authority because authority is ordered to the good.
It follows then, that Francis has no legitimate claim to the Apostolic See due to his defect of intention or consent.

Was said ship promised never to be sunk by no other than JESUS himself? Well then, there is NO comparison, lest ye knows GODS plan. Was Job not given trials of suffering? Are you not subject to suffering? Suffer well with joy. The Pope is to be respected and obeyed, prayed for. The Apostles can question him, if done with proper respect and prudence. Unless you have been given authority over the Pope, what you are doing is bordering on slander. Are you a faithful practicing Catholic, if so may I suggest going to confession.

But Strickland did break canon law 1404. The first see is judged by no one.
Strickland has accused, in writing, the papal magisterium of teaching heresy. That breaks canon law.
Vatican 1 also taught that the Supreme Pontiff has authority to govern the church in whatever way he sees fit.
"Both clergy and faithful, of whatever rite and dignity, both singly and collectively, are bound to submit to this power, [the pope], by the duty of hierarchical subordination and true obedience, and this not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the Church throughout the world."

LOL, that goes for anyone we can't FORMALLY judge but we can correct in love and say they are wrong. When someone (including the pope) deems sin as good and good as sin especially something God has already said is a sin it is then THAT person who is judging!!! Correcting someone in sin is not judging because God has already said those are sins ergo, so we must correct in charity and in love so they don't lose their souls. What is ignored is the fact that this pope does a lot of VERY VERY VERY questionable things and people who defend him like their idol will defend him like he's Christ himself when he isn't.

No, anybody can deviate from any commonly held or accepted belief of theologians and by that simple act is automatically in good standing with the Church's teachings- even dogmatically held teachings, due to past teachings having taught that God Himself is evil by the teachings of theologians, and even popes themselves; that He categorically rejects any unbaptized babies and sends them to Hell, thus by that even having been taught *once* by one theologian we know that God as the apostolic teachings are is evil, and all worship, no matter what, is idolatry and sorcery, period!
The views of theologians are automatically heretical, *especially* if commonly held, and thus anybody can expel any bishop from his see, even a common layman, due to that singular defense of the laity against heresy contradicting God's word, we know that God *as* God is a liar and the very father of lies Himself!
