I can’t stand your guest , saying mass immigration is not the cause, it is the cause! Australians don’t want unlimited growth! How is she even a professional in her industry
We need to house our citizens and Christians 1st. Sort out the home issues before our country collapses in its own internal unrest. Australians are suffering and there is only so much they will take. It’s disgusting to bring in immigrants and put them in the Australian state housing while our children can’t have a home at all
@@svenerikmoeller8809 A secular society (for some with all the benefits of same) built on Christian principles and fundamentals. Its not Sharia law yet.
Because the politicians aren't interested in it. They get kickbacks from foreign interests and own large property portfolios. It'll never be fixed unless you have pollies who aren't greedy traitors.
Bring Home Prices DOWN NOW !!!! who cares about these special "Mum and Dad investors"??? the next generation can't even afford to START a family !!!!!!!!!!
@ get rid of negative gearing/ get rid of capital gains discount/ get rid of AirBNB / stop land banking/ reduce immigration and stop money laundering in property… Done
There are little bit of less than 2,800,000 temporary visa holders with working rights. Plus big immigration intake and Foreign Real estate investors investors. All of the above put big pressure on housing, infrastructure and our living standards. All is supported by Labor-Liberals governments.🏡🇦🇺
This issue has been ongoing for years. So far I see no action from government to fix this and don’t expect any. Living miles away from work is the norm now for all but the extremely wealthy. Puts a lot of pressure on people to find work from home jobs or avoid jobs in the cbd altogether. Who wants to travel for hours in a day.
Oh the irony... big business lobbying governments to bring in cheap labour...but they can't afford or find anywhere to live near these jobs ...its absurd and would be funny if not so incredibly awful for Australia and its citizens
People cannot live in areas that do not have roads, motorways, metro lines etc. Simply build more infrastructure and people would be happy to continue moving further out of the CBD
It's all and well and good allowing more migrants and building appartments for all the refugees but Australians are more pushed on to the streets. Homelessness is a big problem there should be no Australian living on the streets. Need alot more option maybe take from the govement or stop all funding till proper plans come in to place to actual address these issues
the solution is so simple. Take a useless mid-city golf course, make it a cluster of affordable high rise housing for first home buyers to be able to break into the market and being able to save. But that would impact the investment property value of the rich, so they will find a million excuses not to do it.
Now that I’ve left Australia permanently, watching your shockingly feckless, dithering, utterly hollow politics and governance drive you off the economic and social cliff, while you wallow endlessly in your swamp of hubris-bloated “she’ll be right mate” pathetic apathy is - fascinating.
Im a Fine Dining Chef who is highly sought after w the likes of Restos in 5star hotels and surrounds of Barrangaroo, Double Bay areas w high end dining venues and yet i cannot afford to live in Sydney i cannot afford to pay 800pw not even 620pw in rent! Chefs only get so much wage pw! And yet i was pushed out of the entire Sydney City. The commute from Epping to CBD as a chef doing 14hr days is diabolical, essential worker? Most probably and i cannot find a decent priced dwelling in the ENTIRE east side or Lower Nth Shore to service the Fine Dining Hospitality Sector as a senior Chef! DEPLORABLE and the wealthy WILL feel it shortly also!

I agree
She is being paid to spruik, Core Logic stats says alot during the pandemic in 2020 till 2022.
Albo knew this and still brought in record migration. Seems Australia first is not on the government's agenda.
Albo needs to prop up the economy and disguise the mess he's made.

Please don’t bring religion into a secular society!

Fix one and you’ll fix the other. How is this even a discussion? We’re working 40 hours a week and living in cars.

With no housing for citizens how is it albo is importing 1 million a year. Certainly not working for Australia
Easy, make.up a bill that nobody knows nor approves.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist….but I think that’s the plan.

Mainly public servant investors on bloated overpaid salaries, working from home or on lots of bloated benefits as well.

And the corrupt unions refusing to allow many desperately needed tradespeople into the country.

It isn't all well and good immigration has been bad and bad
@@giokun100 Yeah right fill up the city centers with cheap high rise buildings and fill them with refugees on benefits. That'll work! Not!
30% of the Aussie population was born overseas.. 30%!!
Yes, I can't wait for the election. My rent skyrocketed, and I am so voting Labour out!
