You can book tickets online. Individual tickets are free but they normally get booked up quite quick. Once you know your travel dates it’s advisable to book online asap. If you miss out online then the other option is to get there before opening time as they allow a certain amount entry even if you haven’t booked online. Hope that helps
Kudos to the Government of Poland and to President Andrezj Duda in particular for seeing to it that the monuments marking the Holocaust in Poland are very well maintained. Visiting Poland to pay homage to the victims of the Holocaust remains an item very high on my agenda thank you very much and enjoy your afternoon ☺️☺️
They are roughly every hour from Krakow. From Auschwitz main camp, there is a bus stop where the bus that goes back to Krakow, stops at. So you will have no problem in getting back as the buses run all day
The bus takes you to Auschwitz 1 with a number of stops on the way. You will see the the main camp from the bus and it stops very close to the main entrance. As soon as you exit, you will see the entrance.
Yes, Oświęcim is the Polish name for Auschwitz. Oświęcim (Auschwitz in German) is the actual town. The bus takes you to the town Oświęcim (Auschwitz) and has a number of stops in the town and stops at the main camp.

It's pretty much the same schedule. Since Auschwitz is visited by a lot of people all year round, the buses run regularly
Hello! Does the bus take you only till Oświęcim or till Auschwitz? I see the distance between the 2 is around 2.5km.
