Robbie Rotten from Lazy Town. Me and my bro were listening to the forreign lyrics and interpreted them to what they sound like, credit to my bro for the words.
I finally found it!! This was one of my favorite videos back in 2007. To this very day, I can't listen to Master of Disguise without thinking about cave griping, brenner's piss, or saying goodbye to hillmead.
Oh god, same here! This was one of the first LazyTown videos I ever watched on youtube. I recently watched Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ and when this song came on ALL I could hear were the misheard lyrics.
The worst villain there's ever been The worst villain I've ever seen Known for the most vicious tricks of all times, The villainy of his formidable crimes. The fiend known as the Reckless Criminal, that is me staring into your eyes! But then, not so far forward, you see the lovely Rich Richards; Flashing a polite grin, He will make you his next victim. Offering a helping hand A knife behind his back Faking kindness To get you falling into my act Because there is only way to be; To show true cruelty, as the Reckless Criminal, The fiend that I was always meant to be! But with my facade Wanting to help and be your pal Until you fall to the Reckless Criminal, The fiend, the monster that I am meant to be! Despite everything, I want to show that I am caring Bringing Lady Luck with me is such an easy feat As Rich Richards, helping you is why I'm here! -I am here! I am here.
Triggerfish07 Beacause It Is Master Of Disguise But With Icelandic Lyrics That Makes The Song Evil Sounding And It Makes Robbie Rotten A Evil Chriminal I LOVE Both This And The Cartoony Versions And Stefan Karl Did A Great Job Potraying Both
Oh man. That very nearly killed me. I'm serious, I almost asphyxiated. "Can he gripe her? Found it in the cave" has to becomes someone's sig line somewhere. It just has to.
my kids love lazy town so we decided to look up relevent things on youtube and we found this, this was absolutly histerical me and my husband were killing our selves laughing no lie ...oh im crying hahahahaha
I saw this when it was first uploaded & I STILL laugh my ass off at it! I have the actual song on my mp3 player and I end up singing these lyrics xD Love it
this is lazy town robbie is singing about his disguises this was when it was on stage first. this came after the books but before the television program
damn i can't believe i found this, it was one of my favorite clips as a kid, back in 2007 :'( nostalgia bros ~you will counter ying yang, first make love
QUOTE/ive watched this so much that ive actually memorized the words/ Same here! At least now I can sing along. I know it's not the real meaning, but I can be sort sync now. I remember the first time I saw it. It was really late at night and I woke up everybody with my laughing XD. This is actually in my favorites.
That is made of win! Best nonsense I have heard in quite some time. ::D (Yes, that's a compliment.) @Craze21AD: There's a Flash jukebox somebody posted in the comments for another Latibaer video, and it includes "Versti fantur". I don't know how to disassemble Flash files, so I just recorded it with my sound card.
If you're referring to the video clip, then it IS the original. If you're referring to the lyrics, then it's illogical to say that they're better, as unlike the original lyrics, which are meant to introduce Glanni Glaepur/Robbie Rotten, these are meant to transcribe what the Icelandic lyrics sound like in English.
The Richie Rich sections played backwards sound like a Mariachi tune Edit: and the part where he says the name "Richie Rich" sounds the same forwards and backwards for the second instance (speaking in terms of the reversed form)
Watching this as a person who actually speaks Icelandic is... quite an experience.
These lyrics are terrible
Although I love Iceland
@@jamesbusenthusiast9439 No, they aren't.

The most perfect interpretation of Icelandic I've ever seen by a English speaking person.
you know he's Icelandic, right?
@@aronflaviol I'm pretty sure he's referring to the one who wrote the lyrics seen in the video.
Look at this meme that was before its time, that I just found!
2006... well... that's was REALLY LONG AGO
Actually it was shot in 1999, my birth year.
This is REALLY not helpful when you're trying to learn the Icelandic version.
RKRts Animations Not supposed to be
I agree!
@@kylevansteelandt3971 It doesn't matter if you agree, because that's not the point.
“Fuck my name and can he gripe her? Can he gripe her? Found it in the cave.”

Watching this for the first time in 16 years....I laughed so hard...This is hilarious. Miss Stefán so much...

That sounds more like a really deep poem than the song.
You got lyrics right ghough.
this is the first lazy town meme right here
True
"Reekee Deekee, or will brenner piss in our face"
This was one of the first LazyTown videos I watched on youtube.
RIP Stefan Karl, thanks for all the laughs and fun.

*an evil criminal
Wow... he even finishes off by chokin his chicken
😂😂😂😂😂 this comment is 12 years old but still gold....
I needed this!
This went from a villain song to perhaps the most bizarre Intercourse with You song ever created
Isn't it obvious? The bird's there so Glanni'll have a chicken to choke at the end of the song.
Oh man. That very nearly killed me. I'm serious, I almost asphyxiated.
"Can he gripe her? Found it in the cave" has to becomes someone's sig line somewhere. It just has to.
"Flash a leaky". I think you can be put in jail for that... O_o
Gasoline85 XD
Gasoline85 well glanni glæpur is a criminal afterall
I always laugh with the 'F$ck my name' part
More of the longboat *Passes out onto the floor*

The most entertaining interpretation of the lyrics I've seen so far. ;-)
"press the fuel and set me alight"
🤣🤣🤣
Found it in a caaaaaave~
And at the car i froze beneath the air
This is HILARIOUS!!! XD *plays over & over*
"Can he gripe her? Can he gripe her?
Found it in the cave."

Love it
So in the end, he choked a rooster named Hillmead hard enough to pop him. That's nasty
You're right. :)
I do admit, here and there, I recognize some of the Icelandic words because they're similar to Danish words.
How nice to see the theater version of Lazytown. As I could understand in another video, Riki (reekee) is a character.
"Richie Rich", to be precise. :)
"Rikki Powerful" according to a different video.
Yeah, that video is well-known for its horrible translation...
Xande Motta Rikki Rikki was a character that glanni made to disguise himself from being glanni
Is this the one that was translated by someone who taught themselves Icelandic?
IMHO that's impressive.
this is lazy town robbie is singing about his disguises this was when it was on stage first. this came after the books but before the television program
Actually, he's pointing at himself cause he says "Það er einmitt ég" which means "That would be me".
He clearly says to press the fat and send him away.
XD
Areeky deeky! Very farkin funny...yaw?
How come the Robbie Rotten in the TV series doesn't move that fast! Huh!
this is the funniest thing i've seen in a looooong time
Robbie's pimpin'.
That's great! What a funny interpretation of Icelandic to English version. Couldn't stop laughing out loud.
You did a good job there!
Keep Up the good work!

This is so funny! Amazingly, the interpreted words *do* make sense, in some way. Very nice job!
I CANT BELIEVE YOU INVENTED THIS MEME
0:59 I personally kept hearing "you'll encounter me first night glance"
No, he's singing about how evil he is, and how he can fool everyone :P.
This was the second version of this play. The tv-show was made AFTER this play you know.. Atleast 2 years later or so.
the thumbnail is me when i fail my test

I remember when I was 12 back in 2006 Seeing dirty lazy town parodies like this on RUclips
haha that was great!
i thought it was "SPORTACUS' MANS!".

Так круто, что они оставили эту песню и вставили её в сериал Лентяево)

Master of disguise
1:21 - Brenner pisses in our faces
Bwahahahahahahah.. That's hella funny cause it's doesn't mean anything close to the lyrics XD
Glanni Glæpur to me sounds like 'Honey guy purr'
The parts about "brenner" are rather disturbing to someone who has an OC named that... lel.
that is funny, it causes that efect.
What is the true meaning and spelling for the REEKEE DEEKEE part???? I want to know!!
"And now I am Richie Rich"
I love this.
AMAZING
i find it really disturbing on how unnatual he moves
Hey, Robbie's "Viking Longboat" appears again, at 1:06! Only it's even BETTER this time! Swoooooon...thud
Great version. Hahaha. Brazilian hugs.
Check out channel latibaer. She has the whole play and in the video info, she writes the translation of this song.
This is almost 12 years old omg
Can we all share a yes?
nice lyrics
what the fuck is this? my face hurts from laughing
Hes singing about his many disguises i believe sir Haep...
Can he gripe her? Very nice! Haha.

Actually he´s singing about being Rikki Rikki and how much bastard he is and how Glanni personality is.
This even better than the original.

So, what does "Glanni Glæpur" actually mean? Is that "Robbie Rotten"? Or is that the "Rikki ríki" part?
Amy Jackey Glanni Glaepur is Robbie Rotten's Icelandic name
It is Stefán actually.

epic mondegreens!!!!
Wicked! whats the song called in English?
TheTullMan Master of Disguise
No, i can´t hear it, he is saying: Versti fantur sem ég veit.
