We have just watched the production in Canada on the PBS channel. The dancing, the acting, the interpretation - all superb! An amazing match to the music, lyrics and mood and so current while the wars of Ukraine/Russis and Israel/Hamas create more horrors. Great job!

Couldn't agree less with Paul Smith (below) We saw the production last night, essentially we went for the music but were blown away with the expolsive energy, the brilliant choreography, the athletic ability of the dancers, the simple but effective sets and the pure joy of it all. Congratualtions Kate Price.

I believe Sting is telling the truth here. Something about interpretive dance adding to the lyrics of songs. I agree. I went into a big interpretative dance phase and many community dance events involving Sting music like 'They Dance Alone'. I lived it!!!!. With some artsy folk from Santa Monica California, in Cottage Grove and Eugene Oregon

It would be amazing if this show can go on tour... well at least Melbourne where The Police played their last concert in 1984.

I saw this show on 7 Feb 2020 and I was absolutely mesmerized and enthralled by the spectacle. Couldn't disagree more with the negative review below (Paul Smith). I hope the show travels around the world so that many, many more people get the opportunity to experience it! So much more than a bunch of music videos.

Shame your communication does not compare to the dance and acting displayed on stage. Spell check? Sad.

Just seen this production at the Peacock Theatre London. Always a great fan of the The Police and Sting from the very beginning more than 40 years ago. However, the dancing and choreography is a cross between something from a high school prom and enthusiastic street dancing from a Saturday afternoon in Covent Garden. The story line is obvious and cliched. To use Don't Stand So Close to Me to infer a rape scene is distasteful and again lazy. The music is not enhanced by the choreography, a succession of music videos from The Police archives played to a standing dancing audience would have been more enjoyable. Godley & Creme could have reworked some cracking Police videos - opportunity missed for an interactive experience.

I'm 51 yrs...but seeing younger people dance to this music from an "older" era ..lol ...was enjoyable at the start. Secondly, The Police and Sting himself have ALWAYS looked at the bigger picture in regards to society and their small place and the change and voice they could possibly have in this world big or small. This message was endorsed by Sting and developed by a woman who loved his music and his message as much as you or anyone who was a fan.... you may call what you saw a cliche...I call it LIFE and the cycling of it from good to the bad, and to all the euphoric and abysmal facets that exist in this world every single day... always repeating ....we should not forget any of them or the people in this world who get forgotten every single day...cliche or not.
