Have the Quad / Explosive / -25% Action points cost Rail Way Rifle, my action points cost is only 2 and with my Bloodied, Commando, Sleath,VATS, Crit build i shreds a 2 star SB in seconds, that rifle with that stats is my favorite beast. Keep up the good work my friend.
Great video, but one effect is missing. Since the last update legendary enemies don't regenerate after dropping half of their health, so executioners effect now is a viable option especially on bosses because executioners damage still is multiplicative and not additive.
After logging 100+ hours in Fallout 4 many many years ago, I finally got into Fallout 76 last month after hearing about the massive improvements since launch and I’m already at 200+ hours 💀 your vids really helped in achieving a Bloodied Build and getting the high capacity backpack. Keep it up my man ✌️
Overeater's is great if you use the "Survival Shortcut" Legendary Perk Card. (if you're willing to use a slot for it) It generates a "Survival Syringe" that gives you full hunger & thirst, gets rid of any disease, and fully heals you. Depending on the level of the card, it will generate them faster. Also, it increases the limit of how many you can carry at once.
@rondaiuto I always play with the "Starched Genes" perk card, so I never really run into losing mutations. There is no mention of it being able to remove mutations on the wiki. So you should be fine, but I do recommend using "Starched Genes" so you won't lose them from using radaway or rad showers.
Great vid but lot of new players get sorta confused on what other prefixes to use with specific weapons and I know it also has to do with build. There’s u a part 2. Good job as always 5k
Thank you for the great guide. Out of all weapon legendary prefixes I agree that Anti Armour is the best. Have it with a faster fire rate fixer and piercing magazine. Stack that you with tank killer perk and it ignores 100% armour. Any character build will benefit from anti armour roll. Thanks again.
My High Explosive walking tank build (Secret Service Armor not Power Armor) uses Overeater's. Currently only have 3 pieces and he's basically unkillable more so when I'm using my Vampire's Broadsider. The only thing that tears him up right now are energy weapons and laser turrets since energy resistance is currently broken and effectively always at 0. If they ever fix that and especially if I manage to roll my last 2 Overeater's armor pieces I'm pretty sure he'll be unstoppable. I've even built him to be able to run around inside a nuke zone for a very extended amount of time.
Anti-Armor is a great effect, especially for full-health build which I always run with. I also like Aristocrat's for extra damage since it's max damage (at 50% at over 30k caps) is superior to that of other damage boosting prefixes (usually at 25%) other than Bloodied since I usually have over 30k caps
Would rank Anti Armor higher than Bloodied. Bloodied gives you slightly higher damage but if you fall out of nerd rage Anti Armor is not loosing as much damage as the Bloodied does. Both are great options trough.
It depends entirely on how much damage mitigation the enemy has. For tougher enemies, AA seems better to me. For enemies with little to no armour, bloodied is better.
My quad explosive RR is just ridiculous. Third star is less AP cost, so it costs me 2 AP per shot. I’m spamming 2-3 crits per second on enemies heads, and with endangerol and bloodied unyielding SS jetpack I can’t be caught because I never run out of flying fuel 🥰 I’ve never had a stronger build, and I’ve used almost all top tier weapons (including Eflamers, yes) The range, the damage, the crits ….. it’s absolutely mad. Get yourself a quadex RR today!!!!!
Over the years of playing the game i prefer bloodied over anti- armor. I have both bloodied and anti-armor fixers and handmades. As to the most powerful it all depends on the latest update. Things get changed or messed up ( buffed - nerfed ). The weapon i use the most is a bloodied, faster fire rate handmade. I use less bullets per kill with it.
My issue is that bloodied only works with low health builds, anti armour will work bo matter what but being a full health build vampire weapons help a lot to keep me topped up between bursts of juggernaut/gourmand weapons
Quad is only bad for weapons with lots of ammo, like the Minigun, the 50cal, the Gatling Gun, Flamer... but for small magazine weapons is very good... but you depend a lot on the second and third star effect, to make it work in your favor,.
i remember years ago i tried to min-max and get that damage number up. bloodied for max dps with nerd rage and adrenal on. took a long break to only get back into just on a whim. max health builds are the way to go. everything dies in a couple of seconds anywqays and im trading a little lost of damage for a whole lot of comfort. maybe im just older and washed up but theres literally no need to go full sweats for a game like 76
What are good legendary to have on power armor? I usually run around with out but in heavy combat or high rad zones I put mine on. I use an excavator because of the weight bonus. I tend to pick up everything not nailed down.
Personally, I prefer Aristocrats over Overeaters when it comes to armor mods. Yes, Over Eaters gives you a higher per piece bonus but, for me at least, Aristos is just easier to use. It's stupid easy to keep the 29k+ caps that Aristo needs for max bonuses, I never have to worry about keeping my food/drink bar full and I don't have to rely on consumables. As for weapons, AA all the way. 😉 Just my two cents...
Aristocrats and Overeaters have totally different effects. While aristocrats provides damage resistance, overeaters provides a flat damage reduction. Second always wins which makes all damage resistance effects like aristocrats, vanguard or bolstering useless, especially because all stacked up damage resistances over 250 do not provide significantly more survivability. So damage resistance effect only really help on 'minor' resistance armor sets like wood armor, raider armor or metal armor. And even on them it's only useful to keep resistance parts until you get an overeaters part. Instead of aristocrats i would prefer using chameleon, life saving or specific enemies damage reducing parts when having a high resistance armor set.
@@torsteinnorbertson Well, I guess I just learned something. Thanks for the info. I'm running secret service with 1 each chameleon and life saving. The rest is aristos. I primarily run a stealth-vats-rifle build so I usually don't take many hits anyway. I might fiddle around with this a bit to see if I can improve anything, but I doubt it. I'm really not a fan of micromanaging health and food bars and I very rarely die anyway. Either way, thanks for the info.
Excellent video, I'm a 50 cal guy but I have a level 35 vampire Lmg and believe it or not it does almost as good as my 50 cal. It don't do as much damage but I don't take damage with the Lmg but I use too much ammo. Lol
Is a anti armour fixer like 90% . Or does it have a weird system. I'm asking because I have a anti armour explosive fixer ( can't remember 3rd star) and was wondering would a bloodied or aristocrats be better
@MrWestTek what base stats and perks would you choose for a bloodied stealth commando, i have done mine wrong, i use a bloodied explosive handmade rifle
Can you are someone please direct me to a video explaining the point / card system. I just hit early 70 level and I just don't quite understand what to do with the point-after 50 as they're not assigned any more to the special
You can add up to 6 legendary perks depending on your lvl. The perk points you get after lvl 50 you can use to get other perks or you can scrap them, you can do this with perks you don't need, too. You can then upgrade the legendary perks with these spared perk points.
Nice vid been watching a few of your videos since am kinda newish to the game but wat got me really subscribed was your level .. how the hell did you grind to 5k level cap yoo!😅
In my opinion, the best thing you can run for ballistic heavy guns when you have power armor is Bloodied + Explosive, for energy heavy guns I have found that Bloodied and Anti-Armor are pretty much the same. But if you are running a commando with no power armor then Anti-Armor is definitely stronger.
Still working on pretty much every weapon and all my armor except a my fixer. I was half expecting to see me in a video after you joined my group a couple of nights ago. It was your name at least and I don't know how long you were in there I was paying attention to then saw your name not long before you left the group.
As a newcomer that is starting to rise in levels, I very much appreciate this video and in the in depth details. Answered many persisting questions I had. I’m a little curious though, are you sort of implying that secondary and tertiary perks are somewhat simply up to player preference? If so, that would remove a ton of the hesitation I have in wanting to use up any stored Legendary Modules 😅
It definitely depends on you playstyle, but I'd recommend faster fire rate and explosive for guns. And and any weight reduction or ap boost for armor. Hope this helps!
Bloodied on paper is better for regular enemies but it’s unnoticeable in practice. So Anti armor is better overall cause you can tell the difference against bosses
A anti armor weapon will do slightly less damage than a bloodied weapon on a bloodied build. A bloodied weapon is worthless to a build that is not low health. Anti armor ftw bc of it's versatility with any build.
Twoshot isn't good as a general effect, the damage boost is too low nowadays while the spread is mad while outside of vats. And when you use vats, other effects are still more efficient. Twoshot really shines only with tagging enemies in events and on certain weapons only. Correction: It's also great on explosive heavy guns, Rocket launcher, Hellstorm, agl, m79, broadsider and nukalauncher profit from this effect.
@@doomforzombies Don't get me wrong, everybody may play as he or she enjoys. The majority of effects are viable and i love the game for it's freedom how to play it. But in this video it's about efficiency and the comparison of damage per shot and damage per second or the trade off for more survivability named vampires. And in this comparison twoshot simply isn't good (anymore, was great in the early days). I would play a non explosive black powderrifle as instigating i guess. But if you have fun with a twoshot, go for a twoshot. Thats the beauty of this game 🙂
Overeaters can be nice, but I wouldn't try too hard to get them. If you roll an armor piece with Mutant Slayers, Troubleshooters or Assassins with perfect 2nd and 3rd star bonus, it's usually worth using instead of trying to roll a similar Overeaters version. Sure having five armor pieces of Overeater gives you 30% damage reduction to everything, but if you have two pieces of Mutant Slayers, Troubleshooters or Assassins you get the same 30% damage reduction for this enemy type. This gives you much more flexibility and its often easier to optimize the remaining star effects if you can work with multiple 1st star effects.

No, it doesnt affect rads, so it cant remove mutations.

Anti armor is a multiplicative effect, it doesn't add up so you'll never be able to reach 100% armor penetration with this effect.
Anti-armor is arguably more fun then bloodied, granite I am a bit biased towards AA since I use a full health build.
It's really how you play. Just felt all these stood out from the rest.
