there is a custom paid calendar visual called "date picker" which is fantastic. this is really cool for a free alternative! you can do a pagination effect with the new slicer with single row/max buttons shown X/overflow pagination, with the only problem being when the selected month is outside the range in the page you lose context of what's selected. however the way matrix shows the selected month you could almost get away with the user knowing they have to go forward/back, or maybe as part of a deployment rule in making sure the current month is the default selection. not perfect by any stretch, but options!
Hi - great idea and tutorials. I found if i used 3 digit Day names (DD Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa ) this bypassed the col width issues as you have corresponding double digit numbers in the table below (and DD still looked good/easy to understand). Appreciate the Dax trick which makes this work 👍🏽
