That old Land Rove looks incredible! I love the old Land Rovers and Matchbox just did a awesome job on the Land Rover! That MBX Excavator looked really cool and fun to play with! Awesome new Ford Mustang and new Dodge Charger! Really cool Matchbox 2019 case! Love the video like always!

There was also a Hot Pink release in '96, which isn't listed on the MBX Wiki and seems to be the rarest of the three versions of that deco from that period. That's the one this one is throwing back to.

This mustang looks naked without the pony detailed. They do the same thing with hot wheels every time they release a new mustang casting. They always leave out the pony.

The previous 2 Charger castings are the early LX Charger, the 2006 model, and the Charger Pursuit, which is a 2012. This one is a 2018 version of the 2015+ LD Charger.
I have really enjoyed the “throwback “ models. The Land Rover is great. However.......cue the downer music......wah wah waaaaaaaaaah! I was hoping the luggage pack on the roof was closer to the 1960s matchbox size to use as replacements it’s a little smaller also the roof things aren’t exactly interchangeable the boat from the off-road trailer fits loosely on the Land Rover and the stuff that comes on the land rovers don’t exactly fit the off-road trailer. And speaking of the trailer....where is the tow hook? And i’m not fond of the blacked out windows would’ve been nice with clear and an interior. With that said it’s still a cool model and I will buy all of the throwbacks.
They did it again why do they detail the mustang from headlights to tail lights except the pony what's up with that ? and then the Dodge charger it has a gray interior and the grill on the front is also Gray which is connected to the interior instead of molding the front face of the charger in detail the front of the car. They used the gray interior for the grill and the chargers grill are always black.why can't Mattel or its designers do things right ? For crying out loud.

This mustang's card art is cool, color is cool but the execution of the casting is horrible. Looks like a brick, real car does not look like that particularly in the front and rear. Better to keep it in the blister and look at it from 10ft away, then you'll be happy with it.
The issue isn't necessarily the casting, it's that the wheels are too big, throwing the look off and making the body look smaller and chunkier. The Fleetwood Southwind RV released as part of the Jurassic World Legacy Collection had the same problem.

Yes the "Cool Mud" Jeep was a vintage deco. It came in orange and blue releases.

Im pretty sure the RSQ is short for rescue, because alot of models got RSQ tampos. So probably not a licensed.

18 Mustang is very nice!!! It could do without the sidewall tread though. Save that for the trucks
