Wow great footage, well done! Interesting to see this compactor has a small center piece attached to the main compactor plate which travels along the bottom of the hopper; I wonder what improvement this has when compacting the trash with this going deeper inside the box? Keep up the great work!
That housing is for the cylinder actually since it sticks straight out from the front of the body. It’s a huge hinderance in the hopper having that there when the truck starts to fill up or with bulky items
@@westcoastrefusetrucks Oh wow, that is a bit of wasted space then. I thought it might have been a special design to push stuff deeper, but that just seems a waste of capacity. Oh well. Thanks for the reply!
