Hi there! Hmmm.... I hope you are right. I'm actually a stickler about the boxes but I will keep an open mind about the Pintoo brand. Thanks for your comments! :0)
😂 I laughed several times during your video. Especially your warning about nudity. 😂 Funny puzzles. Wow what a great haul of puzzles! Collecting puzzles is seriously addicting! 😊❤ Happy Puzzling! ❤
Very helpful to see the array of puzzles available to you! I am totally envious of the choices you have! Here in NZ, we are a long way from Europe and the US, so it’s very hard to get a lot of these brands, the cost of postage on top of the puzzles makes them unaffordable. I have been able to get 2 Art & Fable, and one Jacarou, but have no Magnolia or Yazz (desperately want to try a Yazz one!) Affordable/available brands in NZ are Holdsons, Clementoni, Trefl, Pomegranate, Cobble Hill and Ravensburger. I recently acquired a Castorland puzzle, second hand, but was underwhelmed by the quality…must be turning into a puzzle snob! Anyway, have subscribed, and looking forward to your future puzzling adventures! 👍🦋🌈❤️
Hi Lyn! Are there any large puzzle storefronts in NZ? I know there are some large storefronts in Australia - can you purchase puzzles from them? We have to figure out where you can buy from! You mentioned that you are becoming a puzzle snob - you are talking to a COMPLETE puzzle snob!! With all the new brands out in the wild, I get pickier EVERY day! Thanks for watching and subscribing. I really appreciate it. :0)
My goodness me, you certainly went overboard with that haul. I dread to think how much all that lot cost! I noticed that most of the jigsaws that still had the shrink wrap on were reflecting what was in front of you. That was rather distracting. Plenty of variety in the images. I have done some King puzzles in the past, ten years ago maybe, but I wasn't impressed with the quality. I shall be interested to see what you think about the King puzzles. You are very fortunate to have access to such a large number of brands. When you think about it, puzzles have come a long way in terms of quality and images compared to ones from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Look forward to your next video.
Hi there! I'm aware that some of the puzzles were shrinkwrapped, and that causes glare, but there's not a lot I can do about it. I'm overjoyed that there are so many new brands out there - it's wonderful! Puzzles have come a LONG WAY! Thanks so much for your comments! :0)
I just got a acrylic puzzle from Dollar Tree that said it was impossible. The pieces would not fit or stay together. Wow you got so many puzzles that look fun.
Hi there! The acrylic puzzle I purchased looks really difficult and I'll probably regret trying to put it together. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching and for commenting! :0)
Shannon, am I going to have to stage an intervention for you??? Just kidding, enjoy the new puzzles! BTW, I agree with you about the crappy Pintoo boxes. But the puzzles are so much fun!!!
Hi Morgan!! I DEFINITELY NEED A JIGSAW PUZZLE INTERVENTION! Please schedule one for me RIGHT AWAY!!! I think I heard recently that Pintoo was redoing the boxes and I really hope that is true! Thanks for watching and your comments! :0)
You totally send me down the rabbit hole looking at Magnolia and Art & Fable puzzles. GORGEOUS. I'm curious to know if you've tried any of the Art & Fable puzzles that have the "Velvet Touch" coating. Wondering if they are worth the extra money.
Hi Marianne! Yes, I have tried the Art & Fable velvet touch puzzles. If you watch my latest video "Puzzle Off: Pomegranate vs Art & Fable", I talk about the velvet touch feel. For me, it took a little getting used to. The pieces do not slide easily because of the velvet touch. It does feel luxurious and I got used to it. I really like the brand. Very high quality. Not cheap though so you have to decide if you want to spend that much ($30.95) on a puzzle. I only purchase when the puzzles are on sale. Thanks for your comments! :0)
Hi Pam! I My puzzle budget is no longer going to be as large as it has been in the past. I spent a veritable fortune on puzzles in 2023 and I can't afford to do that anymore. Hopefully some of the brands will take pity on me and send me puzzles to review so I won't have to buy them all. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your comments! :0)
So much fun, thank you for sharing your haul with us. I also love the artist Olga Suvarova! I have all five from Pomegranate and I have the two from Art and Fable. I am so glad Art and Fable picked up Olga Suvarova art work! Having her art work and their puzzle brand is an awesome combination!
I’ve done a couple pinto puzzles and did enjoy them, but taking them apart one piece at a time is a bit of a drag. Anyone know of an easier way to disassemble them?
Hi. How many puzzles do you complete in a year? Also, when you buy so many, do you still like each one as much when you finally get around to doing them? It was a very interesting video.
Hi Jassmin! Is there no UK storefronts that carry a large amount of brands? Have you done an extensive google search? If so - that stinks! Hopefully a store in the UK will step up and carry some of these brands. Thanks for your comments! :0)
